If you live in South Florida, you probably know how hard it is to find a real good Chinese restaurant. Red Pine in Boca Raton is a real good find for Chinese food in South Florida. We have been here a few times and the food and service is always exceptional. Yesterday was no different. We started with their pork dumplings. We also had their ribs and eggroll from the Happy Hour menu. All was very good!

The restaurant is beautiful inside. It looks luxurious. The managers, servers, and bussers work hard. Unfortunately, we found the meal disappointing. My companions enjoyed the spare ribs and liked the pork bao buns. I thought the pork in the buns seemed more like pot roast than Chinese roast pork. The shrimp with walnuts tasted fine, but had more breading than shrimp. The string beans were too salty. The Hong Kong style noodles were overcooked and a little mushy. The best dish and least sauced was the chicken with cashews. I tried the Red Lantern mocktail. It was pretty, but way too sweet.

I first got to write about Red Pine when it had opened a couple years ago. I remember we were worried that it wouldn't last. Boca likes its steakhouses and pasta joints. Most things more original rarely last. I'm happy to say that when we popped in the other day the place is alive and well. It always has a decent crowd these days. Their fried rice is great, and the dumplings are one of their specialty's. We have tried and enjoyed many of their appetizers as the happy hour is solid. Great bartenders as well, and good news, they stuff their own olives. It makes for an excellent dirty martini. It's an all around great and original spot to stop in.

Daniel was so available and such an excellent bar tender. This restaurant is unbelievably beautiful and the food we ordered was scrumptious and exactly as we remembered, but everything came out wrong with a lengthy wait. Our cold noodles had no peanut sauce, our duck wrap came once as scallion wrap and second time came as duck, scallion pizza. We had a hilarious evening with plenty of drinks but actually we decided the chef was playing Duck Duck Goose instead of meal preparation . PHOTO ON FAR LEFT WAS WHAT WE ORIGINALLY ORDERED. We will definitely return because WE SUPPORT LOCAL! Everyone deserves a second chance!

Red Pine in Boca Raton is an absolute gem -- sleek, modern, and effortlessly elegant. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the upscale vibe -- dim lighting, stylish decor, and that subtle buzz of a place that knows it's doing things right. Everything we've tried has ranged from good to downright awesome -- flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. While it's on the pricier side, the quality and presentation reflect it. If you're looking to experience Red Pine without the full splurge, their happy hour is a great way to go -- still all the flavor, with a slightly lighter hit to the wallet. In terms of authenticity, I'd give it a solid 7 out of 10 -- not the most traditional, but definitely elevated and delicious. The drinks are fantastic as well -- balanced, creative, and complement the food perfectly. We love that it's so close to where we live now -- it's quickly become one of our go-to spots for a nice night out. Between the atmosphere, the quality, and the overall experience, you really can't go wrong with Red Pine.

Who would think that an upscale Chinese restaurant would be hidden on the ground floor of an office building in Boca? Located at one Town Center, Road, this is the old Tyco building and it's in between military Trail and Town Center Mall. There's a big parking garage near the building and there's parking in the back of the building off Military. The inside is decorated beautifully. It's warm and inviting and the bar area is nice with plenty of seating. Met friends at the bar for happy hour. This is one of the better happy hours. Monday - Saturday 3 - 6 and Sunday 3 - 9. Discounted drinks and a nice selection of dumplings and bar bites. We had our share of appetizers. The dumplings were light and filled with bok choy, pork, and chicken. I have to say the chicken was outstanding, it was the sauce that came with it that made them stand out. It was a chili peanut sauce with a little hint of cinnamon. Steamed Bau Buns were tasty. Chinese Sticky Ribs were messy but very, very good. we sampled almost everything on the menu. Those were the standouts and I thought the fried rice was a little bland. All in all the food was good. 3% is added to the check for credit card. It's a great place for happy hour if you can get there before 6 o'clock. I think a nice quiet dinner would be nice there but be prepared to open the wallet.

This place is wonderful! The food was delicious and the server is very attentive. Went with a group of us and all left with a very happy belly! Everything was so delicious it's hard to suggest my favorite! I would definitely recommend you trying it for yourself if you're in the area.

$22 a drink!! Crazy. Red peppers in General Tao's? Broccoli in almond chicken? Ordered mild spice & was flavorless. Servers said cook watered down the sauce. It was bad. Only thing high end was the price. Definitely not worth it. Won't be back.

We had an amazing meal here for Christmas Day. Started with a veggie egg roll & a pork egg roll. Then shrimp toast. These were so good. Then we had the roast 1/2 duck 2 ways and chili garlic shrimp. Both were oh so good. We did not feel rushed. The service was great and so was the ambiance.

Went for the first time on New Years day! Place is absolutely beautiful. Service was great, we were seated right away. There is ample parking. They have a nice cocktail menu. For Florida, this chinese food was good.

Went with my daughter for happy hour which was wonderful. Sasha he was our bartender and was very efficient and attentive. We definitely over ordered but well worth it. We ordered the bok choy dumplings, chili lemon shrimp, brussel sprouts, ribs, scallion pancake and the plain fried rice. Everything was delicious. The place is very pretty and super clean.

Service was fantastic!! Everything came out quickly and was hot! Ambiance was super cool, a little dark, but overall, unique! My criticisms: the food was heavy and flavors were varying from tasteless to an almost identical Asian style. We ordered the shrimp toast, sea-bass, and lobster fried rice. Two of the 3 were fried which wasn't mentioned by either the waiter or the menu. Why would you batter and fry sea-bass? Did not enjoy, especially for the price tag of $40. The fried rice was fresh and utterly tasteless. The green tea was delicious as were the crispy wontons. Not worth the money.

Do they have happy hour food?

Yep drinks and food. We like it. Their dirty martini is solid.

It looks like the reviews are sort of iffy. Would like to try a happy hour or a lunch. is there a lunch menu? Or maybe small plates to sample during happy hour?

I was there recently and the food was super delicious. The thing is that people are now so quick to give bad reviews for no reason.

The kids absolutely love the dedicated children's bowling lane, which makes the experience so much more enjoyable for younger players. The atmosphere is lively, the design is bright, modern, and thoughtfully done, and everything feels clean and well organized. It's a great place for a family outing, but it's just as perfect for meeting up with friends. On our last visit, we ordered the truffle fries, beer-battered onion rings, and a non-alcoholic piña colada. The piña colada disappeared almost immediately because the kids happily shared it and loved every sip! The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout our visit. The only small downside was the restroom. It has a very modern design, but the walls and floors looked heavily scuffed, which made them appear dirty even if they may have been clean. Overall, we really enjoy Strike 10 and will definitely keep coming back. It's a fun, stylish place with a great atmosphere that's perfect for spending quality time with family or friends.

One of the parties was really loud and going overboard anytime someone hit a pin, making it a bit annoying, frankly. Five people bowling for an hour and a half was over $125 which I guess is Boca market price since Bowlero is even pricier. But it felt very expensive and not worth it to be honest. Likely wouldn't go back and in fact it's prompting me to look for new, cheaper lanes outside the Boca area. The pricing is just ridiculous.

Luckily, we moved inside just before a sudden downpour started a few minutes later. I ordered the oatmeal with everything on the side, and it was delicious. The restaurant is located in the Wyndham, which used to be the old Howard Johnson's. The ocean view is absolutely beautiful and really adds to the experience. We came here with friends and I'll give credit where it's due. The beach view is spectacular. The kind of view that makes you forget your phone exists for a minute. Ocean, breeze, the whole postcard situation. Absolutely nails it. And then the food shows up... and things take a turn. I went with the blackened fish sandwich. Cooked properly, no complaints there. But flavor? It felt like it forgot to show up for work. Just kind of... there. Unfortunately, that wasn't even the low point. My wife went with the fish tacos and called them straight up terrible. Not "meh." Not "could be better." Terrible. And that pretty much set the tone for the table. So now we're not talking mid anymore. We're talking mid-to-poor across the board when it comes to food. This is still a great spot to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink while staring at the ocean and pretending you didn't come here hungry. If you're coming for the food, just know you're here for the view that happens to serve meals, not the other way around. Pro tip: only do the outdoor seating. The view is the whole reason you came here. Inside, you're just eating disappointing food without the ocean doing heavy lifting. Two stars. The view is doing everything it can, but it can't season the fish.
