If I could rate this restaurant negative stars or none at all, I would. I have never seen a restaurant with such bad customer service. You can be the nicest person and they will still treat you like absolute garbage. I have put in complaints before because I'm a delivery driver so I have no choice to go there but I have never heard back from the store manager. The people working there are the biggest assholes I have ever encountered. & they will ignore you & get mad when you speak up. The absolute worse customer service around here and I would 100% not recommend going to this restaurant. read more

We have been Panera customers for many years and generally quite happy. This evening, I went to pick up dinner and the ordering process, which has been pleasant and quick, has been replaced by a kiosk. Navigation is very cumbersome, as I was ordering from four separate categories, but once that was done, I swiped my credit card. It was apparently not read and it started a countdown timer. I checked the card position (it was correct) and swiped two more times, but it timed out and cancelled the order. I walked away and had a much better experience with humans at DeAngelos. read more

I've worked in food service so I know how hectic it can get and being sure you get it all correct is a handful. Because of this, I believe in second and third chances. I have a sensitivity to peppers, and all things spicy, so I avoid it at all costs. I get the same thing every time I go to Panera. Italian combo, no pepperoncini. If you like things as they are on the menu, great! But if you like to change things, I advise against going to this Panera. Three times now my sandwich has had the one thing on it that I can not eat despite asking the woman at the counter to make sure they weren't on. You can't just remove them and be done with it, the juice from the pepper seeps into the bread and meats. 3/3 is not just accidental, it seems careless. Panera is truly a great chain and I love going there, I just hope they can work on this. I hate leaving bad reviews. read more

I placed an online order to be delivered during Coronavirus...... I placed an online order to be delivered in concord nh. I placed this order for pastries for my staff during this COVID 19 time. We work in a healthcare facility and thought this would be a little morale boost. Asked to have order delivered between 7:30 and 7:45 am...at 8:00 it still wasn't there. I called the store and asked if there was a problem, woman told me that they don't deliver, that they have a company like Door Dash deliver...I told the person ok, so when will they be delivering, she said truthfully I don't know. So I hung up....at 8:45 I called back told them it still was not there and I would just come and pick it up. Woman told me that order was cancelled by Door Dash...I said I never cancelled this order she gave me to a manager. I explained my story and all he had to say was sorry mam Door dash cancelled the order and we put everything back and some of the things you wanted are no longer available.. so when I asked for a refund he said oh you'll have to call Door Dash and work with them with this. I was irate.....I never had anything to do with door dash at all...money came out of my acct from Panera So I said what's their phone number...manager says I don't know you'll have to look online. So when I hung up, I went and made sure all staff knew what happened and that this order was no longer coming. 5 minutes after I hung up....I got an email saying that Panera just refunded me...hmmmm...weird...thought it was Door Dash. Ten more minutes goes by and I get a voice mail from Panera asking me to call them to give them another order that they will charge on my card again and someone will bring over to me. Are you kidding me?? That's what should have happened the first time I called. and it should have been free after all this. I will never order from them again...and believe me there Are numerous others that won't either. Bad customer service especially now during this sad time. read more

I really like the food but today their automation of the ordering process sent me running out the door. After looking at a menu board to decide what I wanted I was directed to an electronic kiosk. Guess what the first screen of the kiosk was not laid out like the menu on the wall. After taking a minute to look at the menu board to decide what I wanted. I now had to learn how to use Panera's computer system. I left the office today so I could get away from my computer and my job and enjoy a simple soup and sandwich. Panera expected me to spend my lunch time learning their computer system so I could buy something from them. Not happening went down the street ordered a sandwich from a person and another person delivered it to me within a minute. That's customer focus, let the computer savvy use your app don't force your customers who walk in deal with your technology! read more

Stood at register for 5min with no one even talking to me or greeting me?!? Not the usual here for sure. I love coming here, so I'll consider this to be a fluke. When the gentleman came to the register he was super polite and informative about what the sandwiches have on them. He took care of my needs by ensuring me the cheese would be built on both sides of the bread as I am traveling an 1.5hrs before I can eat it. The usual experience is ammmmaaaazzzing!... Hence why I order from here weekly. Keep up the good work guys, though I think the immediate greeting is important. read more

I went to Panera today for a pretty big order (6 sandwiches). When the order came out, there were no labels on any of them. Some of us has special requests due to allergies. But not knowing which is which, requires someone to look into each one and try to figure what is on what. it was a pain in the butt and it could have been avoided if there's a sticker or label on the boxes. read more

Parking lot is awful--never go here during a rush hour unless you want to risk hitting someone or vice versa. Ordered a Tomato and Mozzarella Flatbread to go and the flatbread is such a disappointment. If someone were to take all your lost dreams and bake it into a bread, that's what this takes like. I love Panera but this Panera was horrible! We ordered online and customized our flatbread sandwiches like we always do. When we picked them up they were completely wrong. One of the sandwiches did not have any of the extra ingredients and had melted cheese all over the outside of it. The other sandwich was made identically to the first one even though it was requested with no cheese and no onions. When we asked for a new sandwich they remade it without the cheese but messed up all the other ingredients as if it weren't a customized sandwich to begin with. We have ordered these exact sandwiches at countless Panera's up and down the east coast and have never had such a problem! read more

It's been several months since I've been back to Panera to grab breakfast. My last experience was early morning similar to today. Service is not that great. Multiple occasions (with this trip not being any different) I feel like it's a burden for them to take my order. This time I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a scone. The scones are always consistently good. I was the only person to order a sandwich at that time and it came out quick but it looked like it was thrown together. I'm obviously not giving out full credit for a gaffe like that, but I really appreciated the customer service and continue to go back from time to time. A review of Panera in Concord NH that I posted on their FB page: We're pretty much done with Panera in Concord NH. They have consistently screwed up easy orders (salads with no options or one option). Tonight was fun when we got home and found out that the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad had *no* chicken in it, hardly any gorgonzola, no pecans, and we had asked for extra pecans and gorgonzola. Come on, really? My salad, the Chicken Cobb with Avocado had /no/ dressing, and the Avocado was turning black. Is it too hard to put lemon juice on the avocado in the bin to keep it from turning? And nobody could bother to throw a container of dressing in the box? I am astounded by the incompetence and lack of care demonstrated on a surprisingly frequent basis. We ate the inadequate salads when we got home, because we were hungry, and we won't be asking for refund/comped meals. Because it'll probably be more of the same. Well, bye. read more

I used the Concord Panera to cater my post-wedding brunch for 120 people, and everything was perfect! The food and service were both great, and the catering manager was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Everything was very reasonably priced too! I will definitely use them again if I need a caterer. read more

I went to Panera on Fort Eddy Road for lunch today and was very pleased with the service. The woman who took my order was very kind and attentive, ensuring that I understood the ingredients of what my order was. I had gone alone to study (Panera is a great place to study or to go with friends/family) and the manager insisted on helping me bring my meal to the table, since my hands were full and later checked in with me to make sure I was enjoying my meal. The only bad thing about Panera is that there isn't one in Tilton, NH yet... Thank you for a great experience! read more

I love Panera's food and the Rapid Pick-Up is very convenient. The reason for my review first this morning is that I had to wait 10 minutes just to get a muffin and coffee to go (I was second in line). At 7:30am on a weekday morning, you would think that there would be more than one person manning the bakery section. It's frustrating when you see other employees around, but they don't come over to lend a hand. Cross train your employees and let's not forget the importance of Customer Service. I placed an order online to be ready at a specific time. When I arrived a few minutes early, the parking lot was so jamming that i parked next door. I walked in the place was packed! The line was essentially out the door. I told the employee who was putting out the pick-up orders my name, and she went back to check on my food. Having past experience in a customer service industry, I sympathize went establishments get surprisingly busy. So I was a few minutes early, plus it was wicked busy. The girl returned with my order a few minutes later, 1 minute after my scheduled time. She apologized for the delay and I quickly assured her it was TOTALLY fine. First of all, I'm not one to complain about one minute, but to see the amount of unexpected business, I was understanding of the circumstance. I told her they were doing a great job and to hang in there. Now I don't know what happened after i left, but as I waited at a nearby traffic light, fire trucks blew past me and into the plaza's parking lot. I am giving this branch of Panera one star, although I would rather not give it any..I like this chain, and visited many of the branches in the USA and Canada, but this one is by far the worst one. I have tried to go this branch, which is unfortunately the northest in NH, many times (when in Concord). It doesn't matter what time of the day you arrive, if the store is half empty or full, the service is always LOUSY! You always stand in line for at least 15 minutes, and the people behind the counter seem to work in a rythm of the lazy monkey. I have, more than once, walked out (after waiting for over 10 minutes) and took my business elsewhere. Today, after waiting on line for a long time, I was already the first. 3, if not 4, girls where (slowly) filling out previous orders,glancing at the line that gets longer and longer and reaches the door already, and NONE was going to take the next order. And it is a Sunday at 10:30! It seems there is no one who manages the chaos in this branch, employees must have not gotten any training, and this is a real shame for the Panera Bread chain- where (obviously- in other stores) you can see managers that are involved non stop in the guest relations and satisfaction, and employees that take pride in their job. Definitely not the case in Concord. Don't waste your time. There are other places nearby (Bagel Works, Starbucks) where you can get your coffee and side- alongside efficiency, smile and atmosphere which are much better. read more

I have only been in Panera a handful of times. My first experience was terrible. The young girl taking my order was clearly in-experienced with customer service. Rolling her eyes, acting as if taking our order was a huge inconvenience to her. the sandwich tasted ok however. Unfortunately though I don't care how great the food is if you get shitty service I would rather go to a place that the food tastes like crap but the service is wonderful and with a damn smile. Tonight I went back. However the lady was pleasant taking my order and all I got was Tuna fish. I would assume being a place like this that the quality of ingredients would be better. The Tuna fish was definitely chunk light not Albacore and very wet and soupy...add some pickles and miracle whip and you have a disaster. I have had Tuna fish from a gas station that tasted better than that. Panera: Tuna Recipe... Albacore Tuna...Light on the mayo (not miracle whip) dash of celery salt...dash of pepper...dash of dry mustard...parsley and a sprinkle of lemon juice if your feeling froggy a spot of Worcestershire sauce. So it was hard for me to rate, I have been eaten here once. I had the chicken ceasar salad and a little into it I noticed it tasted funny. My friend then confirmed that there was anchovies in their dressing. I wasnt too pleased about that but to be fair I didnt ask. Super busy when I go (good sign to me its just a little rough sometimes) and actually my coworker bought me a bagel from there the other day and it was so good :) But let me tell you how amazing their lemonade is!
