We ordered online and waited for pickup but our order came out quickly and staff was nice. Nice vibe inside to get some work done or study. Food is standard for Panera.

I decided to get a brownie, which was really good, very rich, chocolatey, decadent. Only downside was it was a bit pricey for the size, prices have definitely gone up over the years. They have a new item of brownie cheesecake bites. I'm not sure if it's just me or if it seems the menu has changed or maybe gotten smaller compared to a decade or two ago when I was younger. Staff were friendly and efficient. I recommend signing up for their rewards online so you can get a free bakery item (maximum value $5, and there are some restrictions on what you can redeem it for) for your birthday. They have a customer parking lot. What I like about this particular Panera location is that they have lots of outdoor tables with umbrellas, and they actually play some music outside too, but it's not too loud. It seems like a nice location if you want to work outdoors but still have shade, so it's a little more COVID conscious if you want to still be able to eat/drink but work at a cafe.

Panera Bread in the Willow is better. The inside was recently remodel with better tables and seats. I love how this location has a screen informing you when your order is done. The service at Panera Bread is great. They will ask you if you got your cup with your order. That is going out of the way to make sure your order is accurate. The food at Panera Bread are good. I will say The Pick 2 are good. I crave for Mac & Cheese with a Ceasar Salad or Broccoli Cheddar with Greek Salad. Keep up the good work Panera Bread

I don't expect anything over the top from chain restaurants, so this place met my expectations. Haha! Two other customers and I waited a good 5 minutes for someone to come out and take our orders. Not sure if they were short staffed or what but I thought it was odd that no one was in the front when we arrived. Food was decent, but in my opinion expensive. I ordered a whole Toasted Frontega Chicken Sandwhich and an orange juice, and it came up to almost $20 - really? Seems like a lot for a just a decent sandwich. Otherwise, my dining experience was decent - nothing over the top for me.

Stopped at this Panera while in town for a training conference and was tight on time. My stomach was in need of something to eat and this place delivered with very fast service, to prevent me from becoming hangry. Lol. I had never had honey walnut cream cheese before but decided to try and glad I did. Place was kept clean and there is lots of parking out front as it is shared with lots of businesses as well. It was pretty empty on a weekday morning. I'd come here again.

I ordered the chicken chipotle sandwich. The bread was very hard and the avocado they put inside was disgusting. I tried to get a refund over the phone and said they couldn't do it. I had proof of the disgusting sandwich that I could text or email to them. Since I realized the state of the sandwich when I was already very far from Panera I couldn't go back the same day. I went the next day and they denied the refund to my card.

Since the Panera in my city closed, I have to venture to the Hayward location to get food from Panera. I had a free pastry dropped into my account that I had to redeem. Since I was in the Concord area, I went to the store at Willows Shopping Center. This location is large with table and booth seats as well as seating outside. It was 2:00pm and the pastries on display were limited. I decided to get a blueberry muffin. Overall, it's a nice Panera in Concord.

My daughter in law and I door dashed Panera today. She ordered the chicken rice soup and Mac and cheese. She loved it but it is her regular order and she was craving it. I had the chipotle chicken melt. I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it. I think they were skimpy with meat but the bread was tasty. The reason for 3 stars? It was pretty darn pricey. ( I know it's door dash, but still.) Those 2 little cups were over 15 dollars! I mean maybe the cups could be just a wee bigger for that much money. It just doesn't seem like a good value to me at all. Maybe it's just not my thing.

Panera is always a solid spot for salads, sandwiches, coffee, and pastries. There's plenty of seating outside and inside along with wifi to work or study. This Panera has been here for years and my younger years we used to study and order their treats, coffee, and use their wifi. I personally enjoy their combo meals of a half salad and half sandwich. I had a hair appointment next door and was starving, it was a Saturday and they were pretty backed up but it was fine. I ordered a half green goddess salad along with a half grilled chicken avocado BLT. It comes with a side and I opted for a bag of potato chips. The workers are working very hard despite how busy it was. It didn't seem like the wait was too long. It's located in a busy plaza so there's parking all around.

There was a fundraiser happening at this Panera Bread for one of my kids school. My husband had never had Panera and I used it as an excuse to go out and get dinner. I had not been to Panera in years. It was good to come and experience something that I had enjoyed in the past with my husband. I usually don't call out service people but I want to say that Sophia rules. She was awesome. She helped my husband navigate the menu. She was awesome. I got a Fuji Apple Salad and my most favorite Green Tea. I love their Green Tea so much. I would get it everyday. My husband got the Cobb Salad and one of their energizing fruit drinks. We chose to take our food to go and had a lovely meal at home. I loved my salad. I've even bought some of the salad dressing to have at home. My husband has gone back on his own to have lunch a few times he loved it so much. Its safe to say that we are big fans of this Panera Bread. Not to mention that they fundraise and donate to good causes.

Poor customer service. One register open, long line. Decided to order with touch screen and it took a while to find what I wanted. Wasnt any quicker. Finally got my bagel and needed more cream cheese. Was told I had to pay before I could get any but line was too freaking long! So ended up scraping what little cream cheese they give you. And the coffee here sucks. I'm not picky about coffee but it's just bad here. The bagel itself was very good even if a bit dry. Won't bother spending my money here again. read more

This Panera is usually mediocre but today was my worst experience so far. I ordered online from my table and made a few customizations to my Pick 2. When it came out, my Italian sandwich looked a little lacking. Not only did it not have my personal add ons, it didn't have half the ingredients listed in the description. I told someone, who proceeded to give me tude. He asked if I just wanted cheese on the side, and I said no, the whole sandwich is wrong. I listed things that weren't on the sandwich, and he told me to wait so he could write it down. I said can't you just look at my original order, and he said well I don't have it on me. I just went back to my table. It comes out again, and is wrong again. They added the cheese that's supposed to come on the sandwich AND the cheese I added to my SALAD, not the sandwich. And again, it was missing 2 types of meat that were listed in the description on their website. Definitely not worth over 5 bucks, and I didn't bring it back again because the man was giving me dirty looks every time he walked by. Also, don't sit in the back near the kitchen if you don't want to hear the staff yelling and arguing with each other. This place is too expensive for this type of service. One star. read more

This place was really good. But man it was PACKED. I ate here with my friend and my husband while he was on his lunch break. The price seemed on the low side since the 3 of us ate for under $20. Mind you we had waters. The sandwiches were good but not "wet" enough for me. I'm one of those people who likes lots of condiments like mayo, mustard, dressings. I'm intrigued by the bagels but I doubt I'll be meeting my husband in concord for breakfast... read more

Really like panera. The service is usually friendly and place is clean. Today however, i asked the cashier for a fruit pastry, her reply was "do you see any? Im out." very rudely. 5 minutes before they had about 10, so maybe they filled an order cause no one came in. She was short, hispanic and spoke perfect english. Good selection of food. The only other thing I dont like is that it's always freezing inside! And I thought they had free wifi but doesn't seem so. read more

Panera has always been a clean restaurant with good food. The food was good and counter people were great. But this location is the exception. All the open tables were dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. The bathrooms were dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned all day. The trash in the bathroom was overflowing. An employee used the restroom and didn't even take care of the trash. As you can see from my other posts I tend to compliment the places that I eat at, but this place needed to be cleaned. read more

This location is the most consistent, and I eat A LOT of Panera! My custom breakfast sandwich is always perfect while other locations either burn the bagel or omit an ingredient, the Concord location seems to have more attention to detail. I use the self serve kiosk primarily but see the staff being very accommodating to everyone. My only issue is the bathroom cleanliness, could be maintained a bit better. read more

My first visit to Panera, right when they opened, wasn't particularly good due to poorly trained staff. I'm glad I gave it a second chance, because in the past couple of years, it is become a favorite spot of mine to grab a sandwich and a bowl of soup. My favorite menu items: broccoli cheddar soup, any sandwich (esp. tuna) with their sesame semolina bread, the Asian sesame chicken salad, and...omigod, the souffles. Their four-cheese egg souffle is my downfall. I guess it's good for my waistline that I usually arrive after they've sold out! read more

If you're looking for a quick bite, lunch, dinner or a place to meet a friend for coffee or a smoothie..Look no further. We're big fans of Panera Bread and come here several times a week. Their sandwiches are just the best and they offer great deals for soup / salad combos. Their salads are really tasty and they rotate the selection on a regular basis, right now I'm a big fan of the fuji apple chicken salad or the napa chicken salad sandwich. The soups come either in cup or bread bowl and are really affordable. My favorites are the garden veggie or baked potatoe soup..hmm. read more

Come here almost every Saturday morning for breakfast. I usually get chicken salad or blueberry bagel or chicken tortilla soup. And if you come early in the morning, the breads are fresh and WARM. SO good! read more

I love the coziness of panera bread restaurants. My only complaint is I wish this particular location would be a bit cleaner. My husband and I always have to ask to have our table wiped down. I always get a cup of their tasty black bean soup and greek salad. Yum! read more

I should first say that I'm a huge panera bread fan, I go to the one in my hometown all the time. I go to the concord location before work or after school because it's convenient, and I like that I can sit for a few hours and do homework. Unfortunately, the food is always a little off. Once I got a sandwich, and they cut it with a knife that had recently been used to cut something else, so there was pumpkin goo all over my sandwich. When I asked them to fix it, they gave me a lot of attitude about it. Another time I got a panini and they burned it, and they took a long time to fix it. I keep going because it's convenient, but I wish the service was better. read more

Came here to get some lunch before heading off to the mall. I got a roast at the sandwich here. It was good. I loved it. I had a great time here. I did like it that the wifi Internet was not working here. That sucked. Other than that I had a great experience here. I would come back this location again it whenever I'm in the area. read more

I'm not sure if it's because we came after 8pm or what the deal was but our food looked like it was the last meal of the night. The turkey bravo half sandwich was literally the heel of the bread with wilted lettuce and really small. We ordered whole grain rolls and received something check mole toy different with no explanation. The restaurant was dirty, all the booths were dirty, no utensils anywhere, no napkins and service was really slow. Very disappointed Panera....you are usually better than this! read more

When I lived in Florida I would go to Panera's and just gorge on my turkey artichoke sandwich with chips. And for breakfast the cinnamon and sugary bagels with hazelnut cream cheese were the best! Moving to California two years ago, I missed Panera's so much. When it finally opened here I was one of the first to go there. I like the fact that with your sandwiches they give you your choice of chips, apples, and bread all that, trying to give you a healthier choice. The food tastes a little different than in Florida... this sounds bad but mainly it tastes healthier, which is GOOD in a sense but light hazelnut cream cheese doesn't taste as good as it sounds for you :0) read more

If you're looking for a lighter meal, this place totally hits the spot. The salads are top notch and has lots of good sandwiches and soups. In the evenings it doubles as a good hangout spot, with free wi-fi and a good selection of cookies/pastries. read more

Chocolate Chipper cookies = DELISHHH... I love cookies so I'm really really critical. But these are light, yet delightful. Also, chipotle chicken panini sandwich is hella good! Only thing I didn't like was the lack of options in fruit...they were almost out, so I'm not sure if they had anything better before, but what I saw wasn't very appetizing...looked like mushy watermelon or a soggy cantaloupe mix. read more

I love this place and wish they would open one closer to where I live! Both times I;ve been there I ordered the turkey and cranberry sandwich, which was delicious. I love the variety of sandwiches, salads and lots of soups, not to mention all the beautiful baked goods. Their peanut butter cookies are SO good! read more

This is where I go to get away from distractions so I can dive into my studies love this place there's goodies coffee free Wi-Fi and always a seat with a plug for my lap top. love the soup and salad you cant go wrong with that. and the staff here is always very nice. read more

I imagine it can still work for a larger party by pushing tables together and using the stool/bench seating too. I didn't have any issue finding a spot to dine in for weekday lunch. I had to use the bathroom here, they are all-gender single stall restroom - surprisingly very clean. I was thrown off by the sinks which are located outside of the restroom instead of inside. Overall, it was a good experience and I definitely plan to re-visit when I am in this area!

I tend to be a fairly understanding customer and like to be easy to deal with. I often imagine myself in their shoes and the reality most of the time is that we would handle most situations the same way as the employee. With this in mind, it's very rare for me to give any business a 1 star rating, as in the restaurant business I am willing to be reasonable. In some other business that handle financials not so much, but at restaurants it's just a meal. However, Panera deserves the 1 star rating. I had heard good things about their food and service, how they created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. I ordered one of their recommended sandwiches on the menu. I skimmed down the list of ingredients and mentally red flagged those that I didn't like. I specifically do not like the taste of mustard at all. I politely asked the young man who was working there to make sure not to put mustard in my sandwich. I order the rest of my meal, soup and a salad (both of which were nothing impressive), and sat down. Upon receiving my meals my expectations remained high. It looked good and smelled tasty as well. However, as I took a bite out of my sandwich I found that to my surprise the young man at the counter had put in mustard seeds into my sandwich! Not only had he ignored the fact that I specifically asked him to not put mustard in it, he put mustard seeds. And before anyone asks if this was a mistake, I looked up at the counter and I saw a group of employees watching me and laughing. No joke. They quickly turned around and got back to work. I quickly but professionally took my food and tray and placed it on the counter. I wished the worker there a good day and left. Like I said, I tried to be an understanding customer, but that definitely did not need to happen. That is why I give Panera Bread a 1 star rating and I do not eat there. read more

I used to be a loyal customer , Not anymore ! I always go for the breakfast , never again will i go into a panera bread especially this one . The young people who work in the morning have bad attitudes , I hear them Complaining about work , They argue with others , They slam the kitchen doors , I hear and have seen this one young kid slam the kitchen door so hard , And heard him yelling . They need to change these young kids That have no respect for their Workplace nor theirselves . The Manager needs to take that White Kid out of there and get someone Who appreciates Having a job . There quality of food is outstanding, love almost everything on their menu. I must rave about their rapid pick up ordering system though. You can place your order online, select the time you want to pick it up, pay online, and the order is all ready to go for you once you get there. I come here often on my lunch break because 1. The food and service is fast and when you only have an hour that's important. 2. I like going back to work and not feeling like I had a pound of grease for lunch. The Tomatoe and Mozzarella Ciabatta is my favorite! I moved to Concord from the Peninsula. No one was at the register so we used the kiosk. The Panera breads there give large portions of meat. This location is stingy with meat. The place is also an ice box. We had to eat outside in the heat because it was too cold inside. Outside we saw a rat run alongside the windows. I wish I made a video.
