My favorite place to grab a Carmel Latte and a Apple pastry for little ones. I had heard they recently opened one in the Country Wood center on Treat and Bancroft in W/c. They also have a Drive thru window. I like this one in particular because the people are very Friendly and very laid back. The free Wi fi is also helpful when your waiting for your order. I like hanging out in morning because it is relatively slower than lunch and there is plenty of seating and parking. One last tid bit, patio seating is also available. One of my sisters work at Panera Bread and she let me try their pumpkin muffies which are bottomless flat muffins. I must say I LOVE them even though they're a bit on the fatty side. They are soft, moist and full of flavor like a pumpkin pie sprinkled with powdered sugar. Recently, I've been introduced to their toffee cookies. They are also loveable! I haven't had anything else there, but I'm pretty sure they have a good selection of food and drinks to choose from since my sister gained quite a bit of weight working there *shhh* hehe. read more

Nice, casual place for a quick sandwich on fresh baked really good bread. The sammies are a bit on the small side for the price. It's got a "starbuck" feel to it if you sit inside, but conquer that by grabbing an outdoor table - suddenly it feels like you're at a quaint little bistro, in anywhere but Concord. Sort of. Goodness the potions are tiny. I had never been here before and I thought that $5 sounded good for a panini. My boyfriend and I each ordered a panini and a side of mac n cheese. It was $30. Nice place, decent grub, good customer service. I've been coming here on a regular basis for about a year now. My good friend Angie and I often stop by in the late afternoon. I frequently have the steak and cheddar panini with an oatmeal cookie. Yummers. All the folks who have taken our orders have been nice. One young lady in particular, a full-figured Latina with horn-rimmed glasses, was especially pleasant. She also has a rad tattoo of a clock on her forearm, and I normally despise tattoos. The tables in the dining area could stand to be cleaned off a bit more quickly, as patrons sometimes get lazy and don't clean up after themselves. I have gone sometimes 3 times a week which is a bit much, but their broccoli cheddar soup and salads are just amazing! They are even better now that they have started the my panera card to get rewards. Great way to give back to your customers. Great place for overpriced sandwiches, salads, and soups. I really like the decor of this chain of restaurants. Very contemporary and soothing on the eyes. The food is always pretty good no matter what you get. My only gripe is with the prices. They don't really rip you off, but you could easily get a sandwich of comparable size or quality for cheaper at some places. #110 I used to frequent Panera on a regular basis during the lunch week. It was close to work. In fact, I could walk which made things very convenient. Unfortunately, I OD'd on Panera. It's probably my own fault, but I only ever ordered the same sandwich ... every single time. That sandwich was the Turkey Artichoke (Smoked turkey, spinach artichoke spread, Asiago-Parmesan cheese, tomatoes & caramelized onions, grilled hot on Focaccia). If there are any spinach artichoke dip lovers out there, this is your sandwich. Trust me. Tip: Half sandwiches and half salads are available upon request. I have stopped by in the mornings on occasion and tried their baked egg soufflés and grilled breakfast sandwiches. The baked egg soufflés are awesome. You really can't go wrong with any of the choices: turkey sausage & potato, spinach & artichoke, spinach & bacon, four cheese. The sandwiches are served on a ciabatta and are pretty hearty. I'll generally get the sausage, egg, and (white cheddar) cheese. The dining area does get crowded during the lunch hour. You'll see DVC students studying here sometimes, most often during off-hours. I'm thinking it's because they offer free wifi internet. Maybe Panera and I will get back together one day, but we're on a break for now. read more

I go to this Panera maybe once every other week or so, and I'm never disappointed. The food is always great (I am madly in love with the steel cut oatmeal with strawberries and pecans-no cinnamon topping), it's priced well and the service is always good. I love the french onion and the chicken noodle soup, and their salads are wonderful. Since I'm trying to lose weight, I'm always on the lookout for healthy options, and Panera is always one of my choices. The coffee is good, and holy cow the pastries and bagels are amazing. A month ago, I had the worst migraine of all time, I was in so much pain I could barely move. After a work meeting, I called in an order of chicken noodle soup and a turkey panini, it was ready when I got there and tasted great. Another time I had a horrible cold and I called in an order for chicken noodle soup and again, it was ready when I got there and tasted great. Maybe because I work in food service I tend to be more understanding about certain things, but some of these reviews at so rude! Sometimes people call in sick or don't show up for their shift and the rest of the staff has to work twice as hard, so the bathrooms may not be sparkling clean, or the tables may not be wiped down. I'm not trying to make excuses, but I've been there, having to do 3 times the work because someone didn't show up. And yes, it's a chain. The people that work there have no choice on what's on the menu, or how the menu is organized, or the fact that you don't know where the line begins (that's the corporation's fault), so giving them less stars based on that is not fair. Overall, I give this Panera 5 stars. Great food and service, decent prices, and I can always count on them to have my order ready :) read more

I have been to many Panera Bread locations around the country and I want to really like its menu and ambiance but whenever I go to a location I always seem disappointed. The Concord, CA location is especially disappointing. When I have frequently arrived during the morning pre-work rush the wait is painstakingly long. The coffee is weak at best, often old (more than 45 min since last brewed) and it just doesn't seem that the location is staffed to meet the morning rush. Most menu items are highly caloric, although there are several "healthy" items available too...but don't try and get any sort of breakfast sandwich after 10:30....they stop serving at that time....I was incredulous when the server looked me straight in the eye at 10:32am (after waiting five minutes in line) that I could no longer order a breakfast sandwich. Over all I have found that the lunch offerings are bland at best and it really doesn't matter which location you go to. For business travelers, I haven't found them friendly even when sitting off peak to get some work done using their wifi and they limit you during peak times and really try to hustle you out the door. After many years of trying to have a good experience with Panera I am finally calling it quits. Skip it. Find a great mom and pop coffee or breakfast diner that does its own baking. read more

They did not complete my order. Paid for an additional side and it is shown on receipt, but they did not provide it with my order. If they would actually check the boxes on the receipt next to each item, then they would have realized I was missing the extra side item. Printed on the bottom of receipt states "accuracy matters" and a place for person to sign for individual who checked the order, but there is no signature because no one checked my order for accuracy. I love this Panera. The broccoli cheddar is my favorite and they make a really yummy steak sandwich! It is conveniently located inside of the Willows so you can stop here after you shop:) The employees are always nice and very helpful- the last time we went she even comped one of our drinks which was so nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating which I really like. Their bread is super fresh and i love all of their cookies! yum! Docking a star because it was ICE COLD in there! I am not too fond of the salad dressing that comes with the salad, so I request extra, extra (yes, I love to drown my salad with dressing) peanut sauce. As Panera Breads go, this one is pretty typical. I love their food offerings, and have only had one or two bad experiences. Their brownies are awesome. The lower-than-expected review is because of the spotty wi-fi. I have no idea what the cause is, but this has to be the slowest public wi-fi I've ever used, with slow connectivity despite a strong wifi signal. Other Paneras are fine, only this one is problematic. And it's isn't due to many users because I've been to this one when hardly anyone else is there, and it's still slow. When i first walked in the aroma of the pastries smelled so good and looked appealing too. I was a bit confused of where to order since this was the first time i was there. There was a lot of people there, it was about 12pm so around lunch time. I didn't know what i was going to order bc there was soo many to choose from. So ^ that was what me n bf ended up ordering bc we weren't that hungry, but needed something to satsify us before our next class started. The cashier gave us a number and then the servers would look for your number and give you your food. *Has Wi-fi :D - Nothing seem too special about the bagel and the cream cheese was ok. I have been here a couple of times for lunch with my boyfriend. I have always loved Panera bread so I had high hopes for this location. Parking is sometimes a hassle here, especially during the week during lunch time & of course on the weekends. I usually always get some sort of sandwich with chips and like an iced tea. For the price and the taste I think it's good. They also have a decent size selection of pastries which I'm not really a big fan of. The place itself is a large place with outdoor seating as well. Inside gets to get pretty crowded but you will always mange to find a spot. They also offer free wifi which a lot of people are a big fan about but I'm there just to have a quick lunch - not to have a full blown study session like those at Starbucks. Over all the place is always kept up, clean, organized and stocked. The bathrooms are clean too. & of course the staff are really friendly and usually pretty quick about delivering the order to your table - which if you are in rush , it's great! Oh! And if you become a regular at Panera bread and become a member , you will get discounts and free pastries or meals for your birthday and regular visits! :) read more

We love this Panera. It has a great amount of space, and the times we go there's always tables available. Today my son got a cranberry orange muffin, which was delicious. I chose the sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, and it was very yummy. The fireplace has been broken for a while, but it's running again, so we got a table next to it. Everyone is always very kind, and they work quickly. Despite my 2 year old being messy with his muffin, they came and quickly cleaned up the mess like nothing happened. I've also used the quick order option on my app on my phone, and it's amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to study. They have a free-wifi and comfortable chairs. Not too overly crowded like Starbucks, but not overbearingly empty either. Once before finals, I stayed in from afternoon until their closing time and one of the workers gave me a couple of free treats such as free Green Tea and pastries. YES. I always get the soup in breadbowl because 1. it's one of the cheapest things on the menu 2. I'm a sourdough lover 3.
