We have been going to this store for years and in the past year they have gone down in flames! The corporation needs to close this store and start from scratch they have the worst employees with terrible attitudes and the service is absolutely pathetic. I ordered a mobile order today I went to pickup and it wasn't ready when I arrived I ask why and the lied and said they tried to call me they are out of the bagels I ordered. Stopped at Panera in Charleston SC for a u pick two. Got the turkey cheddar and apple sandwich to go. Supposed to be on the cranberry walnut bread. When I got around to eating it I found they put it on some nasty Italian bread. It was falling apart and not a good combination. Usually they tell you if they are out of a major component of the sandwich so you can decide if you want something else. Also ordered a decaf latte. After we paid 4 dollars for it they told us they did not have decaf lattes. So they threw some decaf coffee in with hot milk and called it a latte. Not the first time we have had problems with take out. We ordered a green goddess chicken salad to go only to find out they left off the chicken. Woman at the cash register was not helpful or friendly! We will most likely find another place to stop! read more

This review has very little to do with staff, but with a menu item. Your signature chicken sandwich was a big disappointment. I felt sorry for the staff. It was not busy at all, but they were having a tough time. The area they make sandwiches in was trashed. There was no ice tea available. I usually visit this Panera early in the morning before I go to work. The people that work here are friendly (even if it's before 7 am!). I usually order the same thing - a hazelnut coffee and cinnamon crunch bagel. They're both always really good! I've tried some of the breakfast sandwiches but I wasn't impressed. So I usually just stick with my old favorite. I have been here for lunch and it was pretty good - some items can get a little pricey depending on what you order. They do have a great rewards program so make sure you sign up when you're there. read more

This was my second visit to this location. I have never had an issue with Panera before today. So I just had surgery, I am a little loopy but fully aware of what I was ordering. I ordered a full-size turkey Avocado BLT sandwich, with no tomato and no mayo. We are leaving and I checked my order, they gave me a half sandwich, so I sent my father back in with the receipt (which showed the correct order) to get the other half of my sandwich. Well he comes back after he told them no mayo no tomato, and they put freaking mayo and tomato on my second half of my sandwich. Kind of annoying, especially when you haven't eaten for 20 hours and the first thing you wanted was a good sandwich, but they didn't give you what was ordered. read more

We go to this Panera location often and over the last 5 visits we always have something on our order incorrect. The place is rarely clean. Today was the final straw. My husband order a breakfast sandwich and smoothie, I ordered the bagel. I had to go back to ask for my bagel and then had to send it back to be toasted and I received the wrong cream cheese. The order as easy and like I said 5th visit where they can not make an accurate order means I can't continue to give my business to a restaurant that doesn't care. I did inform the manager and she made it right which is the reason for two stars instead of one. read more

Came here last night with the husband to grab something quick for dinner. I got the pick two combo. My panini was just ok, nothing I would order again. My broccoli cheddar soup was pretty good until I found a piece of plastic in my mouth. Likely from the plastic bag the soup came in. Was pretty grossed out at that point and wasn't in the mood to finish the rest. Could it be worse? Sure... But still completely unacceptable if you ask me. I won't be returning here. I am very pleased with this Panera Bread location! I usually come here to get their delicious cheddar broccoli soup, and their flat bread sandwiches. The bowl of soup is actually a very decent size and it comes loaded with lots of broccoli and is nice and cheesy too! I love their flat bread sandwiches! The often have offers where you can get two whole flat bread sandwiches for $7.50. Everything I've ever gotten here is fantastic and they are super fast. Everyone is very nice and the prices are very reasonable. On a few occasions though, it's been a little messy. The trash was overflowing and the floors are dirty. But not always. I enjoy their soup and I will definitely come back if I'm in the area and need to grab a bite to eat. :) read more

Panera is one of my favorite chains. I lover their bread bowls. This afternoon we stopped in for lunch. We were craving something fresh after an intense yoga session. My husband got the chicken salad sandwich with no by tomatoes and was very happy with it. I got the roasted turkey avocado BLT. It totally hit the spot, However, who ever put the sandwich together was obviously in a hurry. They literally piled everything in the center of the bread. We are just coming out of being terribly sick so I had no energy to cook for us but wanted something clean and that wasn't "fast food" per say. I am not someone to typically write a review or complain but the person ringing people up didn't even know how to take the orders I'm not sure if she is new or what but she rang up my order wrong when I told the ladies that were making the food that my food was either made or rang up wrong they met me w nothing but an attitude. In the process of waiting for my 1 sandwich to be remade I had to wait before all the other orders to have my food redone the correct way and at that point just asked for it to be wrapped up to go I wanted to leave instead of dine in after that. I really wanted to just ask for a refund but seen they had finally remade my sandwich when I got up to go ask for a refund and just took it. I've gone here many times and there's only a couple times they haven't messed something up. When we come in later everything is being closed down and they mop the floors without even putting signs up. Even ordering online for delivery they've forgotten items too many times. This is not a good Panera to go to if you have a choice just spend the extra time to go to another one. I wouldn't even try to come here later because they have a habit of closing an hour early and sometimes even earlier, literally locking the doors in front of us and telling us to leave way before close. read more

Panera's always a great option for quick food that's not unhealthy fast food. My husband and I enjoy going here when it's too hot to cook. We always enjoy what we get.. But very rarely is it SPECIFICALLY what we ordered. I always do the 1/2 and 1/2 deal. Some type of soup and Fuji apple chicken salad. I ask for no onions, extra dressing plus the French baguette. Never has it ever come with all 3 of my specifications. It's still good food, but make sure to check your food before you leave if you're doing take out- because chances are they've messed up your order in some sort of way. read more

This Panera has recently started doing delivery. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. They've also added more vegetarian options to their menu and I love the Mediterranean veggie sandwich. Delivery is as fast as Jimmy Johns, but the price point is a little steep with a $3 fee even though I live right around the corner. All in all, I think if you want a decent sandwich this is the place to order from. Lots of options for customizing the food and they even have text/email updated for the delivery/pick-up orders. read more
