The size of this Panera Bread was huge so I was totally comfortable sitting inside to enjoy my ice coffee and pastry. I had a blueberry score which was tasty and a very fresh ice coffee that was bold with excellent flavor. For sure I got my caffeine kick. People were social distancing and wearing masks which was perfect and safe for all. The bathroom was clean for the most part with paper towels and liquid soap. read more

Panera is wonderful! I love their mac n cheese the most. They make the best green tea.The service is great. They have a little screen that says were your meals at and they will sometimes give a buzzer that will buzz when your meals ready. as a fellow panera lover going to east hampton for a vacation, I knew I had to hit up panera on the way. little did I know what I was getting into. the initial greeting didn't go very well, with a giant white spider climbing on the inside of the door. my sister was insanely afraid of spiders, so it took her a lot to just walk in. we then got to a SELF SERVICE ordering stand, put in our order, and paid. weirdly enough the MACHINE asked us to tip. why would I tip when I did all the work??? after looking for seats, we saw booths held together by literal panera stickers and dirty tables everywhere. the wait was pretty good, (i'd say we waited about three minutes) but then I understood why our food took only three minutes... to start, my grilled cheese was half cold and half hot-- even having unmelted cheese on one side (showed above), and it had a bite of bread taken out of it when I got it. not to mention it was MUCH smaller than any other panera grilled cheese i've ever gotten. it was an unpleasant wave of hot and cold throughout every bite I took, and I could really tell they really half-assed the quality. then, our smoothie was fine but the paper straw disintegrated in mere minutes. I had to wait a few minutes for a bathroom (since there were only two private companion restrooms), which wasn't a big deal. after I saw a staff coming out of a room I was next to use, I assumed it was just cleaned. when I walked it, paper towels and *used* toilet paper lined the floor and the bottom of the walls. it was super gross to use and I very quickly got out of there. after throwing out my food, flies swarmed the trash can and I passed tables that weren't bothered to be cleaned by anyone. the entire experience was unsettling and I would never come back. this is why im sticking to ordering panera on uber eats. 0/10 read more

Don't even bother trying to use their curbside service. They have numbers for parking spaces right outside the door. Not once have they actually brought my order out to the spot, even though the app asks what spot you're located in. Instead they put the order on a table and walked away. Today I even said out loud from my car that I am right here. She looked at me and said "we put it here". Useless service. read more

Statistically, 75% of customers who are not greeted walk out without making a purchase. I've walked into this place several times and never got greeted and haven't made a purchase. And when there is no line it takes them forever to acknowledge you and or take your order. There was one instance I was on break and this guy was leaned over at cashwrap writing on a note pad and refused to look up and help my coworker and I. Not even, "I apologize, let me get someone to help you." Everyone in this location is very lazy. Nobody wants to help each other or help the customer. It gets frustrating when associates see you have a question or need assistance and they don't excuse themselves from their side convos to help. They will ignore you till they get uncomfortable that you haven't found help somewhere else. I made a pick up in store so I could just skip the awful customer service and I honestly should have just skipped out on the whole franchise in itself. The food was so nasty and COLD. My sandwich was ice cold and sloppily put together. The cheese wasn't melted the bread tasted stale. And the drink I got is behind the food prep area so as a customer I'm unable to pour it myself. And when I asked the young lady could she do it for me since I couldn't. She looked at me like I had 6 heads and placed my drink on the counter and the lid to my drink on the dirty counter. And she walked away. I know by me saying "I'll never come back here again" won't impact their business but for me personally I just would rather go else where for my lunch. read more

What a great morning! We were on our way back from Cedar Point and stopped in for brunch. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient, the food was delicious, and the environment was welcoming. Katelynn, the manager, stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal. She was delightful. I would, and will, happily return to this Panera location. I am making my review based on environment to study in and quality of food. To study: as a student, I am always on the hunt to find a place that's conducive to studying that isn't a library. Let's face it, after so many years of libraries, we just want to study somewhere else. For this area too, I feel Panera fits my needs and I don't feel like I'm unwanted or being pushed out. There is always plenty of seating even when busiest. The noise level is totally manageable, except when there are kids, but what can you do? The staff is nice and spoke to me a couple of times what it was I was studying for so many hours. I do order once or twice during each session because the food is delicious and served quickly. However, the 4 stars is because I often find my meals are prepared differently based on who's working. Sometimes I'm really satisfied, but other times, I have to ask for more croutons or cheese. Note, I order nearly the same thing almost every time. Overall, great place. Love to come back here. read more

This is a solid Panera location. After about a year-long hiatus from all things Panera, I recently came back here for a much needed Frontega Chicken Panini. It was prepared very well, though the bread was just a bit too salty. The place is always clean and the staff was very pleasant, which was nice since I recall not being too impressed with the staff's overall friendliness in the past. This location is capable of getting pretty busy during lunch (especially over the summer), so I'll do my best to get there before 11:00 a.m. if I go again. read more

Over the weekend, I had to place a large order for a family going through a difficult time. It was my first time to order anything from Panera. The manager was very helpful and went out of his way to prepare the sandwich order without much notice. The sandwiches are individually wrapped and marked which really suited our needs. This place is what Jerry Seinfeld would refer to as even steven. It is right in the middle, 3 stars out of 5, A-OK, average. Even if it were a little better one time, it would be a little worse the next time. You can't expect much more out of a chain sandwichery, but at least Panera carries some nice fresh breads and dessert items. This particular Panera is always crowded as people descend on Bridgehampton Commons in droves, wiping away the memories of the drive-in every second. They have free WiFi, good customer service and you never wait more than three minutes to get your food. If somehow you are not familiar with Panera, the sandwiches are very average. A place which has such good bread doesn't seem to use the correct bread for the sandwiches. The sandwiches are rushed together and I am never impressed with them although I usually eat it without delay so they taste ok in the end. The salads are fine. It seems their best offerings are in bread and dessert and possibly coffee, but in the end it is still and always will be, a chain. read more

Agree that some things may be off in this one location. I'm addicted to the soufflés and usually buy in Hampton Bays but here I found them flat and bland-looking with very little color. Unappetizing. I asked for Pinera bread and they didn't even have THAT. The bread was very bad and stale. The salad was made of old food from different people. It's sad and not sister or Jeffery star approved. Two of the employees told me that the night manager, Fred, who makes the bread has joked about unclean practices in making the bread and doesn't wash hands. I highly recommend this place and it is the only 5 star I've given to date. I've had every item on the menu and everything is delicious. The flavors and quality always exceed my expectations. The portions are large and filling. The variety is wide enough to keep going back frequently. Panera's quality and service are very consistent and you always know exactly what your getting. Their prices are very fair, especially considering this location is in the Hamptons, which is the center of over-priced crappy restaurants.
