The diversity of food you can purchase at the L& W market is extraordinary. They have it ALL! By taking a look at the pictures and comments I have made, I give brief details of many of the items they have in store today. A lot of them stay but with the seasons changing a lot get swapped out. You can grab some delicious coffee in the morning starting at 8 am, with a fresh croissant to start the day. Or for a afternoon lunch grab a Korean chicken wrap! A Hamptons Delight for sure.

Super cute little market across the street from Starbucks along the Montauk highway in Bridgehampton. They offer a lot of nice food options and sandwiches. They only really have brewed coffee hot or cold and iced tea. Their coffee isn't too bad. I have yet to find a good cup out here but let's see what the weekend brings...

Cute little market across from Starbucks. Stopped here for a mid shift lunch and I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely staff, very kind and courteous. They have one that of snack options, ready made food and sandwich options. Really wanted to try their kimchi and eggs but only served at breakfast. Solid cup of coffee and cute outdoor seating for a quick lunch :) I would definitely come back for a quick meal or breakfast!

The menu offers a lovely range of sweet treats that can be paired with their coffee offerings as well as savory light meal options, which pair nicely with their wines-by-the-glass. Guests order and pick up food from the counter, then, if dining in, they can choose from ample seating both inside and outside. The inside is very casual, half first-come seating and half grocery store. Staff is friendly and efficient, making this a really nice option for a quick sit-down bite on Main Street without waiting for a full-service table, and prices are reasonable given the area. Shoppers can pick up gourmet pantry staples, including gluten free pasta. Special shout-out for the creative vegetarian and vegan options.

Healthy cafe type menu- avocado toasts, overnight oats, fancy sandwiches, salads... Pura Vida type, but for actually a very fair price for Southampton, considering the quality. And the coffee options are diverse and excellent. So much better than Starbucks, for the same price. The overnight oats were delicious. Almost like rice pudding. The staff were friendly and very nice (unlike the old lady who worked there before!) Takes cash.

It's more of a sweet treat than an everyday coffee, but they had many other options for everyday coffee. Along with my coffee, I ordered a corn muffin and a chocolate muffin. The muffins were big, not dry and perfectly sweet. All of the bakery items looked amazing. They also serve sandwiches which I plan to try next time. They have many tables inside, as well as outside tables during the warmer months. I highly recommend stopping here on your way out east.

I really do take far too many photos, but it's helpful because then I remember there are spots I may have forgotten to write up like Macchiato Espresso Bar. I visited this cute Mattituck location back in late August and the results were pretty tasty. You see my wife and I were looking for some coffee and a place that's different than what we've often found on the North Fork and so MEB popped up as an option. Not a ton of reviews were posted, but from the ones on Yelp (and dare I say Google too) made it seem worthy of stopping. The worthiness is definitely there because Macchiato has a nice array of coffee options as well as pastries and more elaborate edibles (sandwiches, salads, etc.). You can find everything on their menus though you won't find too much else inside as the place is definitely small. A couple of tables, some fridge drinks and pre-maid foods, and an area of swag and other items is the entirety of the interior so don't expect any true cozy feels. But hey, you can't drink cozy (well maybe in the Fall/Winter), and so let's turn our attention back to the name of this place and focus on coffee. I went with an iced latte with vanilla while my wife tried the iced chocolate (as it was written on the menu). For me, I liked mine. Nothing negative to necessarily say about it as it had a good coffee kick, but when my wife felt like hers was a little too heavy in the bitter bang before the chocolate took over, I decided for us to switch drinks as I thought the iced chocolate was delightful (I do like my coffee a little stronger). Before finishing up, I do want to mention that we were a bit hungry and so one of the chocolate croissants in the display case made its way into our possession. The funny interaction my wife had with the friendly staff member ("Is that a chocolate croissant?" "You know it is!") added to our excitement and oh did it pay off as it tasted delicious. Overall, Macchiato Espresso Bar had a lot to like. Perhaps they're a little small, but they pack some good coffee and pastry/food choices in an area that really doesn't have a ton of options. I'd definitely return another time when out east and in search of my morning cup of joe along with a desire for a bite to eat. And with that I can now post some very belated pics with this review so the CMs stay off my back!
