I'm a regular at this cafe and let me just say this.. Ever since Chris left the place has gone downhill. They have this new manager Nicole who doesn't know what she's doing. She just walks around aimlessly not speaking to anybody she comes across. The only reason I still made my way to this cafe was for Chris & a couple of the employees I believe their names are Annex and Tatiana. They are great they knew my order right when I arrived! They have excellent service and communication skills. After finding out that these 2 young ladies wouldn't be working there anymore quite honestly ticked me off. The treatment that these 2 ladies endured under the management of Nicole is ridiculous and quite embarrassing as a company to even allow this to happen. Not only is Nicole an on going issue at this cafe. Their is also a young man named Lovens who is very unprofessional to say the least. The way he talks to customers is un heard of. I have witnessed some unfortunate behavior from this gentleman as well. He is very aggressive and hands on when it comes to the female employees at this job. He has punched them in the arm multiple times, In the stomach & even went as far as pushing them into various objects at the cafe. Perhaps it was an off night last night (Saturday) At 7:00 PM I was disappointed. Every table in the restaurant was dirty, my chicken stew was lukewarm and the people working seemed unorganized. So when I woke up, our friends promised us breakfast at Panera Bread for our New Year's hangover since we let them crash at our house last night. It's located in the Town Center plaza next to Publix. It is very nice and clean inside and out. We were greeted twice when we were deciding what to order. I settled for the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on ciabatta bread with a frozen caramel coffee. It was good. The straws they give you for your frozen drinks are enough for two people. They are nice and fat just like the drinks itself. What a great way to start off 2011. read more

Friendly service, good food. From what I've seen thought they tend to not deal well with the busy morning crowds. Morning rush means lines tend to form due to slow service and not enough cashiers. This results in a longer wait time than usual, so if you stop for a 'quick' breakfast takeout before work, make sure you are not running late for work! read more

This is a relatively new location and I was immediately impressed with how courteous and friendly the cashiers are here. I must say I'm definitely a fan of Panera. Their sandwiches are always packed with flavor and the various breads they use are always delicious. I personally enjoy the hot panini, but almost everything else I've tried is great too. I'm not normally much of a soup person, but yet I somehow find myself craving their French onion and broccoli cheese. Disgraceful and disgusting location. Totally ineffective manager. Allows NON-PAYING customers to sit at the outdoor patio playing card games. I love parena and personally I will admit that I have takeout from there at least once every couple weeks. My old usual was a roasted turkey blt and black bean soup. I LOVED Panera black bean soup and was my go to soup for pretty much anything! But a couple months ago they got rid of it! I was annoyed but I understood. But when I went to a Panera in Orlando and they have it, I was curious to why my Panera didn't. When I asked the GM he wouldn't give me a straight answer. So I guess I will never know the mystery to the missing black bean soup and Panera in canyon town center. Overall great place and totally recommend. Ordered the (full) Turkey, Apple and Cheddar sandwich. Had 1 piece of turkey, 1piece of cheese. I ask the manager if this looks like a sandwich...he says it's a weighed portion....but if I want he will have the cook rearrange the meat so it looks like the sandwich if fuller. I am speechless. That was without a doubt the worse line of soup anyone ever gave me. I did not make big deal..simple put everything on one half and ate it. I want to wish the manager the best of luck in the future as a scrap iron dealer or customer service manager for a junk yard. He did his best not to accommodate,listen or give a hoot. Be sure you're not hungry if you order that sandwich. And be sure to tip the manager for the laughter if you need his help. This place needs a serious overhaul for the morning crowd. I have been here three times, this current one being my last, and each and every time, there have been problems. My first visit, I was welcomed by a line of about 10 people and a wait of about 20 minutes. I was presented with the excuse that "We have someone out on delivery". I normally avoid rude, old, blue haired New Yorkers like the plague, but I was entertained by one such woman who continued to offer her advice and opinions. Such sage advice like "If you have someone on delivery, then hire someone to work in the store". Gems like "Why is your delivery person out when you are busy here". Words of wisdom like "I have never been treated so bad in my life". All of these outburst, of course, delivered in the harsh tone with the requisite accent which has undertones of nasal whininess. Without her, my morning would have been ruined. My second visit produced another long line and an absence of iced coffee. The third and final visit presented another, slightly shorter line, which an absence of iced coffee AND hazelnut coffee AND dark roast. The napkins at the soda station were out and the station itself had milk and coffee all over the counter: it was a mess. The line was continually long and people waited for their food. I have been to two other Panera within 5 miles of here and neither of them have ever experienced the pains I have seen here. Either they need more training or more employees or both. read more

I recently moved to the area from Virginia where we had a Panera close to our house. One of my favorites until I moved here. The service is just ok and the food isn't Panera quality by far. I ordered a soufflé this morning to go. When I arrived home, I discovered that it was very undercooked. I callled back to let the manager know and she offered me a credit. I wasn't even worth going back up there. I really don't think that I will be returning and it's sad because I really liked Panera. I placed an online "catering order" for 35 people at Panera for a luncheon. Imagine my surprise when I realized that I had actually gotten a salad that might feed 5 people when I went to serve it. I called the store only to be told that they did me a favor by giving me two baguettes since I placed that part of the order wrong, in ordering individual pieces of bread and that they provided 15 plates with a couple of smaller plates for the order. He also stated he gave me a larger salad container. So instead of calling me after I placed the order to explain my options and what they could or couldn't accommodate for an order which clearly stated was for 35 people they slightly compensated the $50.00 order. They gave me extra bread, and less salad and plates to serve the number of people than I placed the order for. I don't mind paying for what I believe is worth it and normally I love Panera bread, this experience however has definitely changed that. This could have been resolved with good customer service however since everything is now automated apparently there is no such thing as good customer service anymore. read more

I love the app ordering and they're usually prompt, but the serving sizes at this location are extremely disappointing and highway robbery. It's bad enough prices are already outrageous re Mac and cheese and broth bowls. Every time I order a pickup it seems I get jipped on servings cuz they know you won't see it until you get back to work or home. I almost paid $9 for a broth bowl that had mostly broth and spinach, the quinoa and brown rice were non-existent. I work too hard for my money to give it away. Throw in some substance, please. This is the worst Panera around. I just moved here and tried this location several times only to be throughly disgusted each time. I order rapid pick up and each time it's over 10 minutes late each time!! My husband even took a picture of an employee talking on their personal cell phone and when I ask about my order, I'm told very rudely that it's ready! The customer in front of me was elderly and trying to ask a question and the manager " Genevieve" wouldn't acknowledge him and just kept saying it's corporate policy. The gentleman asked her name and she said "Genevieve". One of the employees said she would of given a fake name. I thought this was unacceptable so I asked for her name and she said Jessica. And preceded to tell me she will not be yelled at and it's corporate policy. My food was given to me in a brown Publix bag as well. Two days in a row we went to this location to buy a dozen bagels and there are not enough and absolutely minimal variety of what they do have. I understand you may want to minimize waste but having no bagels is ridiculous. A Starbucks recently opened nearby and soon a Wawa is opening. This was the worst experience I've had a Panera. I ordered a turkey avocado BLT with the lettuce tomato and avocado on the side. Except when I open my to go bag there was no avocado which makes the sandwich. In addition to this my bacon was burnt; actually had a black spots on it not just crispy. We went to Panera for a take-out order. Good location. A band was playing across the street. Nice ambiance. The food was good, but the service was the worst. We were in line waiting for our food and they were giving people the wrong food (my husband's sandwich was given to another customer) and they were very slow. People weren't given all of their orders and were hanging around for food they were missing and others just wanted their food. Long wait. Less than enthusiastic staff. This location in West Boynton needs an overhaul. Between hiding the water cups because of the teens that come in and steal soda and the seniors cut in line because they don't think they have to wait in line, this place needs better management. Some of the kids behind the counter act like they could care less - more concerned about when they get their break than anything else! I'll post one more follow up, after posting my past review on this location(my husband said the manager was very defensive) we attempted to order the Baja Mac, and was told it was not sold at this location, then that it didn't exist, then again that this location didntsell it. After getting off of the phone with customer care it was apparent that all locations should sell it but it is possible one or two may not. The next morning I received a call from the location telling me it's just the District that will no longer be carrying the Baja Mac. The lady was very nice and explained the confusion, not 6 or more hours later the location called me AGAIN, this time about the yelp review I previously posted. I appreciate the effort to correct the issue of miscommunication and not knowing what is sold and what is not, so I will change my review from one star to two. But for the future I believe customer care at this location needs improvement. read more

I come here for my morning coffee which I like better than the bitter brew at Starbucks and the warm dishwater they serve at Dunkin Donuts. Their breads are very good but their pastries are very sweet. This location has a nice outside area under a shaded overhang. Their salads etc seem fresh and they say that they are starting to eliminate preservatives from their foods. They also give calorie counts for all their items. I found that the salads, sandwiches etc. taste fresh and are good for this type of semi fast food restaurant. They have some type of rewards program which in my case translates into free coffee or discounts on items. Sometimes the coffee line is too long if you just want to have a quick cup. All in all this is a pleasant experience. read more

This is the worst Panera I ever experienced. I called in a rapid to go order with extra Apple chips on the side since I ordered the Fuji apple salad. I ordered it for 6:10, got there at 6:15 and still had to wait 10 minutes. I paid extra money from my extras which was fine however when I got home And opened the bag there were no apple chips at all but one very sad tiny bag of potato chips. There were 3 opportunities to get my order correct, 1. When it was ordered, 2. when I showed up and verbally reminded them and 3. When the guy who put my salad together took me to the register to charge me for the extra Apple Chips. When I called to complain they did offer to give me a credit by simply taking my name and "writing it in the credit book" but would not credit my credit card because "they weren't equipped to do that".
