Love Panera bread, the food is great and service is good as well. At first I wasn't a big fan since it's a little pricy but as long as the quality is good I will be going back.

I am a fan of Panera, so it is no surprise I fully enjoyed my visit to this location. I ordered an Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich; simple, fresh and delicious. Served in sourdough bread slices, the tender chicken, crisp arugula and crunchy almond offered the perfect contrast and balance, accompanied with a fresh Passion Papaya Iced Green Tea, the perfect light lunch.

Expected more for $8.15 This is the bowl size of soup which cost $8.15. It tastes fine but is way over priced.

    Portion sizes are so small.

Wild how expensive it is. $11 for a tiny non-hearty soup and even tinier Mac n cheese. Not even a drink. This definitely does not satisfy a small adult such as myself.

I stopped to the drive thru on my way to work and I order the pick 2 which is the sald and sandwich. Well I wasn't very satisfied with my food. The sandwich was more bread than the chicken avocado. I had this sandwich before and it wasn't the great today. The salad was good the passion fruit smoothie was good. But the sandwich was a huge disappointment for 1$8.09 for that was not great.

This Panera never fails to impress!! Come here all the time and enjoy their wide, healthy menu and friendly, hard working staff!! Highly recommend the asian chicken salad or the napa almond chicken sandwich!

I went into Panera today in search of a sweet treat on this hot July day, and the lovely girl at the speaker informed me that they don't have frappuccinos but they DID indeed have something called a frozen cold brew if i do recall correctly, after i pay the most wonderful lovely sweet charming girl (Naveah) asked me to taste my drink and tell her how it was as it was her first time making one, and golly! that was the best stinkin drink if i've ever had one. 10/10 customer service and 100/10 drink. #Love you Naveah

I think the description "good chain restaurant" is an oxymoron. So what a nice surprise it was to enjoy my first ever visit to a Panera Bread. The choice was based on the real estate adage "location, location, location" for a quick breakfast with a lovely Yelp friend who was in town and suggested we meet up. Since neither of us had ever been to Panera and this fit the bill for being able to eat and visit for an hour before her morning appointment, in we went. At 8:00 'ish' on a weekday morning this spacious, sparkling clean, fast-casual food restaurant was virtually empty. So there's a note if you're looking to avoid crowds. SWEETS & OTHER BREAKFAST EATS: The pastries in the bakery case looked pretty darned good, with a sticky bun calling my name. Alas, no sweets for me until Lent is over so it will give me a reason to go back to respond to the call. There were healthy breakfast choices too, including steel cut oatmeal with fresh strawberries and pecans. Also bagels of several kinds with cream cheese of several flavors. Breakfast sandwiches too. THE DRILL: Order at the counter or by kiosk at the front of the store but that's way too high tech, low touch for me so we did it the old fashioned way by talking to the helpful woman behind the counter. They'll give you an electronic "id disk" with a number on it. Take it with you to the table or booth and when your order is ready, they deliver. Bus your own when done, but if you fail to do that they do clean up after folks. Food is served on real plates. Hooray. Coffee, the dark roast is pretty darned good, is serve yourself in ceramic mugs or big paper "hot cups". PRICES: Very reasonable, we thought, for the quality of the food and format. Light breakfast for three was under $12. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Private lot which seemed to have ample spaces. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Accessible parking in lot. Level in the door and all on one level inside. Lots of standard height table seating. Booths along wall are standard height too.

    Breadchips

Foods good, but when someone consciously grabs bread when the receipt clearly says chips just make me advocate for robots even more.

He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.

It was pretty good but not like any banh mi I've had at all. No pickled veggies and the sandwich bread was a far cry from a banh mi baguette. Great bread though! I just thought the name was very misleading and it would've been better to just call it a massaman curry sandwich. I really liked the spiced yam slices, but I felt like the peanut butter almost overpowered the yam sometimes. Could've been lighter on the PB. I got the combo meal which was a 1/2 sandwich plus a side. If the sandwich portion I got was only a half, then the full size must be huge. I kind of suspect I got a full sandwich. I had the beet salad for my side. It was tasty and fresh, and also pretty sizeable. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The wait time for food was reasonable given that they seemed busy. The loft seating was nice.

I haven't been in in a while because the location is an awkward one for me and the interior is not particularly a cozy place to sit and enjoy a piece of pe. But Boise Pie Company pies in limited options are now available to order through Farm Deliver (the aggregator for local food hub that takes orders for local farmer and producers and delivers their good things to homes on Wednesday afternoons) so I had a Peach Huckleberry pie in the delivery yesterday afternoon. The crust on this pie was so delicious, in fact much better than my memory of Boise Pie Co. pies being ever. I wonder if the new owner changed the crust recipe? I often leave the crust on a piece of pie, but on this one I ate every crumb. Every holiday I try to find a local producer food item to gift to neighbors. Something that doesn't need to be eaten right away but can be saved and used at any time during holidays or after. I know Boise Pie Co is now providing frozen take and bake Huckleberry pies. If they're still doing that at holiday time, they may be my choice for the neighbors' gifts. (I plan ahead. :-) ) In years past it has been treats like the frozen Lasagna or Chicken pot pie from Certified Kitchen & Bakery's freezer case or Dan Ansotegui's award winning Basque chorizo sausages from Ansot's cold case or stollen from Acme Bakery or assorted artisan chocolates from Chocolat Bar so Boise Pie Co would join great company in the gifting. ;-)

I came here for a late lunch around 2 pm after arriving in Boise. They weren't crowded at this point but business wasn't dead either. My waitress was very friendly. Inside has a lived-in, intimate feel, but it was pretty dark, so much that I wasn't sure they were actually open as I was opening the door. I had the French dip sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. The sandwich was delicious and tasted homemade in the best way. The "meat" of the sandwich was seitan. I don't THINK it was a perfect meat replica (but I've never had a real French dip), but it was very flavourful. I loved the flavour and the thick cut of their bread, but it didn't have much structure and fell apart easily as I was eating which made the sandwich very messy. The tomato basil soup was a little different. It was slightly creamy but brothy and a little chunky - not a smooth puree. Again, it tasted great and was nice and light, which was a good contrast to the very rich sandwich. It was a little slow, especially considering they weren't that busy. I didn't really mind since I wasn't on a schedule, but this is something to be aware of - don't come here for a quick meal. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality.
