I'm a regular customer of Panera; love their menu, treats, and convenience. I stopped at this one on my way through town while on a road trip. I was a little rattled that the girl who took my order seemed congested, but then starting coughing and sniffling before I was done. There wasn't a mask, or a "social distance", or an apology, either. Please, Panera Management; when someone is that sick could you send them home?? Now that few of us are wearing masks any more, we're a lot more likely to pick up stuff besides COVID-and it makes the food less palatable, too. read more

This is a good place to go for a quick bite if you are at the mall. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable. The staff is usually very friendly and quick. My favorite thing to get here is the broccoli cheddar bread bowl. My only complaint is that I think inside is not the cleanest (there is stuff on the floor and the tables have stuff on them from previous customers). read more

More times than not, stopping in to see the seasonal specials makes you pretty hungry. This establishment feels much more like a cafe than a restaurant, but looks can be deceiving! The food here tastes fresh and the service is pretty quick. It's nice that the employees let you go about your business without asking how you are doing, rather seeing the expression on your face to see how happy you are to be with friends or family. I own a business, which most of the time makes me pretty gracious when I go out to eat because I realize sometimes businesses have off days. But I couldn't ignore the service or lack there of that we received. My husband and I went in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It wasn't busy, there was one customer in front of us and no one in line behind us. There were three women working and not a single one looked at us or said hi. I order four large scones and two boxes of mini scones for pick up today at 8 am 11/30/15 order was placed on 11/24 they did not have my order and the gentleman insisted on calling the mgr. I asked him just to fill my request with the existing scones he wouldn't so i had to wait for mgr while line piled up behind me. The cashier was very considerate of my nut allergy. My figi apple salad was delicious, just the right amount of dressing already mixed in. The apple chips were delicious and added just the right amount of crunch. The kids turkey sandwich was cheese and meat only. Usually you can count on the food but today the server decided to give the added benefit of spilling soup all over my daughter's friend's lap. Accidents happen but it was the afters that were more disturbing. After the spill, the server walked away. That's it. This used to be called Paradise Bakery and Cafe. If you had read the reviews there, you would know this is one of the best place to be in town. I enjoyed the food here a lot. It is simple, affordable and delicious. Panera is a great place to go anytime of the day. Their soup is awesome, salads are tasty. The cookies/bread/pastries; let's just say I try to avoid them so I don't eat them out of the whole bakery. Nice atmosphere - clean and has a nice patio. I like to go to breakfast or lunch with my girlfriends. Even when it's busy it's still fast and consistent. I enjoy ordering from Panera and their food is always good. However, I placed an order for delivery and didn't receive any of my sides. I called right when I noticed this and the manager said that she would send out another driver with my sides. I agreed. 45 minutes had gone by and I still had not received my items. I like 2 miles from the bakery. When I called a second time the manager said that she sent the driver out and didn't know where they were. I asked for a refund on my upcharged side items and was told thy couldn't do that. I told her to just not have them brought to me as we couldn't wait any longer before our soup started getting cold. My wife and I ate lunch at this Panera on 10/31/2021. Since the employee taking orders was already busy, the manager dropped what he was doing to take our order. The manager was very friendly and helpful, and he went out of his way to make sure that we got what we wanted. The manager was constantly moving about the store the whole time we were there. I didn't go back that evening but was told they would take my name and make it right. Went back a week later and was told no problem. I should have checked my bag but was in a hurry. Still no side. Called and was told a manager would return my call. Three days later no call. I like the food but refuse to give my money to an establishment that treats customers this way. read more

I frequent Panera at numerous locations across the country. I went to this location for a late dinner. I ordered a Pick-two with a Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich and a cup of chicken noodle soup. This particular location brings the food to the table, which is always nice if you happen to bring little kids with you or you are working on a laptop. The person bringing out the food addressed me by name, which is a very nice touch. The sandwich and soup both taste fresh, even though it was near the end of the day for the restaurant. The plate was presented well. The restaurant was very clean, again especially for the end of the day. There is also plenty of seating, so finding one during busy times (lunch) would not be too hard. The staff there, including the trainee who took my order, were all very congenial and friendly. Lots of smiles. I will return when I'm back in the area. read more

I actually have mixed feelings about this place. Although, the food here is more based on the comfort food side (don't get me wrong, it's actually pretty great)... other than that, the food isn't that great, in my opinion. Sometimes it's really salty or other times it's bland -- there's no in between. Also, sometimes the staff can be really nice or they can be complete jerks. I ordered greek salad w/chicken and baguette to go. When I got back to work, what i got was a teeeeeny salad that barely covered the bottom of the small box, and nothing else. Not a greek salad for sure, no feta, olives, or chicken anywhere in site, and no side. Also they were out of ice for my ice tea. I have always enjoyed my visits. However today the breakfast that I ordered was not great at all. I ordered the chicken avocado and egg. However the egg was separate and the sauce was totally at the bottom and not on the hole sandwich. The ice coffee could not have the sugar dissolved in it because it was cold. The food was just not up to par today at all. I will try it one more time however if the breakfast and drinks are not up to the usual par I will not go to this restaurant again. read more

We stopped in for lunch on our way to Santa Fe and I ordered a You Pick 2 - chicken noodle soup & mac 'n cheese...a complimentary chocolate chip cookie came with it too - bonus! They would not give me my food and then made it difficult to get a refund. I went in to speak to the manager, he called me liar and was very unprofessional. When I did get my refund, he threw the money at me and made a snide comment while all the employees gathered around making a scene. If I could give zero stars I would. Placed a curbside order, and when I got there to pick up my order, realized that the curbside pick up area is not marked at all and is located in a no parking zone/fire lane. So, I parked in the legal spots in front of the restaurant, in clear view of the front doors. Waited about 15 minutes for my order to be brought out. No one came. No one called me. Nothing. So I went through the ridiculously long process of trying to get someone on the phone to check on my order. When I finally got "Mimi" on the phone, she very condescendingly and rudely explained that "it is called curbside service for a reason" and let me know that they would not go searching for my car. Panera should be ashamed to have such an unprofessional employee working for them.. I definitely won't be going back, and will tell everyone I know to avoid it like the plague. read more

First: it's located in the Coronado mall, next to Kohl, opposite the Eastern entrance. Your map (and Yelp) will lie to you. It took us a while to find it. Other than that, it didn't disappoint. Listen....I've been to Panera THREE TIMES on this road trip. I'm stunned at how well they are maintained. The employees are so friendly and helpful. There is an extensive menu that is full of wonderful options for different dietary needs. I love the food here as it is wonderful fare at a perfectly affordable price point. Kudos to management here and to the employees that make this experience so awesome. I will probably always look for one of these whenever I'm moving about the I live in, its neighboring cities, or cities all over the country. It is my hope that they don't change. Like ever. I almost always have the Frontega sandwich with added bacon and arugula. I always opt for the chips (one of 3 side order choices) and I'm good to go with a water. I've since had the Strawberry Poppyseed salad which is bright, fresh, crisp, and refreshing. I'm not sure if it will be available for very much longer what with Fall being here, but I sure would love to have just one more before they take it off the menu. Outstanding customer service!!! The manager John was very attentive. 5 stars for him and his staff!! I came in about a week ago and took food to go and after eating 95% of my salad I discovered a very long hair. I immediately called and John answered and took care of it right away and apologized. I was shopping at Coronado today and decided to give it another shot since they gave me a credit for food to replace the other.
