The worst part of this place is you get sucked in and hours go by. Then you look at the time and say, "I was here for 4 hours?!" lol This is a great spot for couples and large groups. They have a lot of 2 player games so you can come with just one other person. I have not tried to come alone so I don't know how easy it is to join another group's game. I remember when I lived in Santa Fe, jean cocteau cinema would have game night and it was very easy to join another group or learn a new game from other patrons. What I also reaaallllyyy love about this place is you can refuel your body, brain, and soul (lol okay I'm being silly there) with some sandwiches, desserts, drinks, snacks, you name it. They have food, both hot and cold, to keep you playing. The sandwiches are made fresh. I recommend the Three Little Pigs. I gobbled that sandwich up like no tomorrow. If you haven't been here then set some time aside to visit. At least 2 hours. OH! So the legst worst part of this place is the parking. You can find free parking further out, but nearby you will have to pay. Parking is free after 6, but expect this place to get a bit busy.

This place is really cool. They have so many board games from simple and easy to use to the more deep dive long lasting board games that get you thinking. The employees have knowledge of most games so they can make recommendations and they can help you learn new games. This is definitely a place for groups or at least a date of two. They have a little cafe which serves brewed drinks they also have bottles drinks of your standard variety. They also serve a simple menu. This place cost $4 per person per hour to play games. I would recommend looking at their game list in advance and learn a little about the games before you go so you're not spending all your time learning a more involved game. You can also YouTube the games and get some instruction in advance. This place is a must try, it's different, it's fun, and you can spend hours here easily.

This place is awesome!! Been here a few times with friends and I always enjoy myself. It's only $4 an hour and the games are unlimited. There's so many different types to play. You don't need a huge group either, there's plenty of 2 player games. The food is great too. Def a great place to try with friends.

What a great day at the Empire Board Game Library!!! Don't be intimidated by the barrage of game offerings, there is a super warm and inviting staff that are knowledgable and ready to help you customize your gaming experience. Whether you have all day to blow, or a few hours...whether there is just two of you, or a squad of you...they are fully prepared to make recommendations that are sure to make for a wonderful and entertaining time. I was so pleased with the snack selection.... lovely menu with plenty of lil noshes and sandwiches, desserts and beverages to satisfy. I had the affogato which was just perfect. So looking forward to my next visit...this is a great destination for a meet up with friends, or a unique date night, or even a parent/child date :)

Great fun, cool concept, bad parking. They had an array of board games, cakes, sandwiches, coffees, Italian sodas, and peanut butter gold bars (wow!). I mean, the people that work there must know how to play every single board game (confusing, for our noisy table of 19, we played the fascist/ Hitler game and powergrid). One suggestion I might make is to either offer french fries or personal sized pizzas- the sandwiches looked okay but seemed rather simple. Didn't even know this place had existed before, and for only 3 bucks an hour it was worth it.

My friend and I had a fun time on a quiet Tuesday night at Empire. It was our first time there, and the employees were helpful and friendly with offering their opinions on fun two-player games. There were so many games to choose from and it was $3 per person, per hour. Jest, an employee/game master, was an all-star with how he explained the directions of the two games that we played. He explained the rules by telling a story and has us visualize a scenario as if I was a character in the game; it was quite magical actually...Jest rocks! We ordered dessert, enjoyed the games we chose, and chatted it up with Jest. He gave us a free Rebel Donut at checkout because we didn't stay past closing time. If you want to play some games on a quieter night, I highly suggest going on a Tuesday!

AWESOME, my first board game library! I was amazed by the selection they have, so many games I'd never heard of The worker was really helpful in suggesting a new game to us (Codenames is an awesome 4 player game), you can also purchase a select number of games They offer a limited selection of food, pastries, and coffee for you to enjoy while playing NOTE: it's $3 per hour per person which I think is very reasonable

It always looks like there's going to be a wait, but there never is. You go to the counter, place your order, find a table, and they bring the food right out to you. This place puts a unique and delicious twist on classic breakfast dishes, and everything we tried was outstanding. You can immediately tell they know exactly what they're doing. They even make their own English muffins, and they are to die for -- fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. We loved them so much we even bought a bag to take home. I also had a blood orange Jr. mimosa, which was off-the-charts delicious. Everything here is fresh, fresh, and more fresh. The bacon deserves a special mention -- phenomenal, cooked to perfection with amazing flavor. Whether you're craving something sweet or leaning toward the savory side, you're completely covered. If you're on the fence about coming here, don't be -- you will not be disappointed. Before leaving, we stopped to share our experience with the manager. She was incredibly engaged, professional, and genuinely eager to listen. We simply wanted her to know how amazing our breakfast was and how much we appreciated the entire experience.

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

So its a bit awkward because there is a sign asking you not to seat yourself until you've ordered your food. It can make you feel a little anxious because if its really busy, where are you going to sit. We saw people waiting around not knowing what to do. Let me start by saying our food took way too long to come out, I even saw someone walk out because they were waiting so long on their food. I saw someone waiting for their food who sat close to us, and it turned out to be a to-go and I was like darn, that felt like they waited 20+ mins. For what they have on their menu, I feel like they should be able churn out food orders pretty quick. A couple who ordered after us, got their full food order before we I got my French toast and everyone else at our table got their food. It felt like 10-15 min wait on my food after everyone at the table got theirs. There was also an issue with our order because we were waiting on a side, but then I guess it was never added to our order per our server. We sat in the front corner and you can see the whole cook area, this also means if ventilation isn't on point, your clothes will soak in that aroma, like my jacket did. Food itself was good, nothing bad about what we received, but the wait time on food was way too long. I was leaning a 3.5 star which would make it a 4 star review, but the hiccup with the order along with the wait time just killed my experience. Not going to lie, I went to Filiberto's afterwards because I was still hungry after eating my stuff French toast and half of my girlfriend bagel.
