It sits back a block off the main drag and the parking is on the street but it is just a great place. First of all the food is good. They have something for everyone. They work hard to get everyone's orders just right. They can do the whole gluten sensitivity, dairy allergy, snowflake type of food. So if you're looking for a place that can work with you to avoid any food allergies they always seem to come through for us. As for the staff and service, I think it's great. They have that breakfast place vibe. A great sense of humor. High energy and everyone, customers and staff are all laughing and chattering. Awesome vibes! As for ambiance, the inside is cool. Everything in that place has a story and the whole place is talking. We usually sit outside. The sun is warm in the mornings and there is little traffic and usually we get into a conversation with someone sitting nearby because everybody's just so nice and friendly. She was busy doing something and she looked up at me and gave me a very sarcastic answer which communicated to me something on the line of she thought I was stupid. Whatever she was thinking she definitely did not communicate that she had any regard for me at all as a customer. I clearly didn't know what her intention was, but it was clearly NOT well-intentioned. Needless to say, we didn't stay and, honestly have not thought of them since. I just came across them again because of Mia's review and with all of these great reviews I will talk to my partner and maybe we'll give this place another shot. I will say the ambience was quite inviting. Our first experience was several months ago so, just maybe I'm ready to give them a second chance. I'll let you know what happens.

Homestead -- my Sunday spot…read more Dr. Brown's cherry soda is my favorite soft drink, and I never expected to find it in Albuquerque. That was the first surprise. The pasta and the daily specials have kept the surprises coming -- every visit turns up something new. As a northeastern transplant, I get the best of both worlds here. The service and the selection remind me of the restaurants back east, and then I look up at those views and remember why Albuquerque is its own kind of wonder. The atmosphere is easy and unhurried, exactly what a Sunday should feel like. If you're feeling adventurous, order a cocktail. They're made by a real New York bartender, and it shows.
