Went here for the first time for the Pride Tea event. Reservations were easy to make and they worked with me in advance on my extensive allergen list. They were so very fantastic about the whole thing. Then I showed up and it got BETTER! Food was unbelievably good. They made things to replace stuff I couldn't have due to the allergens so I still got a full serving tray like my companion did. It was so very amazing! Several hours later and no allergen issues so they did a stellar job with that as well. I'm definitely going again! read more

Super friendly staff, my goodness, how nice to find these days! I was greeted immediately by so many friendly faces! Kielbasa and cheddar kolache = heaven in your mouth! The dough is just the perfectly squishy consistency with so much yum! The kielbasa is perfectly paired with cheddar in a quite moving experience! Wonderful experience at Snapdragon Tea! We were greeted right away and came at an early time before afternoon tea. We grabbed seating right away before their rush of parties. We got the full experience after ordering a pot of Vintage Earl Grey, and we got to choose our pot. Milk and cubed sugar were provided afterward. We also were told my plant based burrito would take extra time, which was fine bc we wanted to enjoy a scone while with our tea while we waited. Our server/cashier was so accommodating and checked on us a few times, even suggested to dip our scones in our tea. We ordered the pistachio rose and lemon rosemary scones, along with the plant based and sausage and egg burritos. Everything was tasty, and we will likely be back to try out their afternoon high tea sets. We noticed by noon that everyone was trickling in for their tea time parties. My exploration at Snapdragon Tea was absolutely delightful and as expected, completely different than any of my other tea adventures. There is clearly a lot of creativity & care in preparation and presentation, and there was an underlying simplicity that reminded me of the things I love most about afternoon tea...an element of escapism from the cruelties of life that pretty lil nibbles on pretty lil dishes offer to which my soul replies with silent adoration between smiles and sighs and sips of tea. The interior space has an open dining atmosphere which suited me just fine and lots of lovely touches throughout, can I just say how smitten I was with my sweet lil sugar bowl?!? Adorbzzz. I could definitely see my teenage daughter enjoying a rendezvous with her besties here, but this teahouse is most certainly meant to enjoyed by all ages, young and old alike ! Final thoughts on the menu, the chamomile compassion was superb, first course: strawberry scone (luxurious), pink salad (light & refreshing) with watermelon lemonade (complete with sparkles, darling!). We went to the Barbie themed event because my 5 year old loves pink. There were some Barbie themed things in the shop, but we were able to avoid most of it and just enjoy the pinkness. Small location, so when we arrived I was worried that we were going to be packed in like sardines ( based on previous experiences at other tea houses in town). But no, we had our own space and plenty of it (see picture). Service with smile and really cared that everyone had a good time. What doesn't show up on the photos is the edible glitter added to the watermelon lemonade. That was just stunning! Food was delicious, large portions, with a good mix of savory, sweet and super sweet, balanced well with the 3 pots of tea that we selected. I enjoyed a tasty lunch today with intentions of coming back for the tea experience. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage, cheese, and egg inside. I was asked if I wanted green chili in the burrito or on the side, and I was given the option for mild or hot chili! I chose in the side with mild. As an egg lover, I was very happy that there was no skipping on eggs in the burrito! The sausage had a good flavor, the tortilla was crisped up with a crisp outer edge! I loved it! I also ordered the lemon blueberry scone, which was hefty and shareable! It had a nice glaze on top-perfect to go with tea. I was on the way to the airport and didn't have time to sip tea but will do so another time! I sat with friend Shelly in some comfy upholstered lower chairs and table off to the side. It's a bright ambiance with windows bringing in the daylight. Friendly wait staff and clean tables and chairs. The food came out fairly fast. We went just after the spring semester let out, so I would assume it would be more busy when the students are around! Went with my friend who lives in the area for a quick bite. Had a great experience here! My friend and I have made it our mission to try all the tea places in Albuquerque, and Snapdragon was this month's pick. The food was good (and good-sized portions, too, you won't leave hungry) and the teas we had were very smooth and bright. Attentive service and the staff are friendly- you feel very welcome here. We tried this place out after going to the other two tea spots in Albuquerque for years. The food is so-so that tastes like it comes from a lunchable. The "dessert" was a Duncan Hines brownie and a nutter butter that was cut in half and made to look like a rabbit slipper. We also had the who hash, which was grated sweet potato; it was crispy at the edges and not cooked in the middle (think hard rather than soft) with a dollop of sour cream and paprika on top. The tea was okay, but nothing spectacular (the biscochito tea didn't taste like anything). All of that cost a whopping $85 after tip. For about the same price I could have a much higher quality food and tea elsewhere. I will say our server was really nice (Jordan) and did a great job, so the service would get five stars. read more

I had the Chorizo and potato quiche, it was so cute and delish! I also scored a prickly pear scone...the frosting was beautiful and it was tasty! The tea they serve is from NM Tea Co., which is one of my favorite place to get teas. The atmosphere is so sweet and inviting and the owner serves everything on real tea cups, saucers and plates!! Where is the option for 10 stars? Even since going vegan 3 months ago I have been missing confections of any kind, but snap dragon tea has been my saving grace.
