An older employee finished my order...not before spilling food outside the hot plate & putting it back!...then proceeding to pick up other spills and throwing it in the trash, slow as molasses, before returning to me. This place really needs to get better staff. They always forget something last time it was the chicken in my daughter's kids meal an today it's the orange chicken on my bigger plate. I'm done with this location. They also never put Teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki chicken. You always have to ask for it. Dear Manager of Panda Express Yucca Valley. Your employee(s) needs a few lessons in Customer Service. From the moment we drove up to the point of receiving our order was an absolute joke & unbelievable. First of all, when we drove up, no one was in drive thru.... including the Panda express worker that is supposed to take orders. After 3 min, someone came on & said "he" would be right with us. He was. 90 sec later. In a drive thru??? Really? When we drove up to pay & get our order it was another 4 full min for anyone to open the window & ask for payment. Then the Panda worker handed us our order with no comment afterwards......no thank you, no "do you need sauce packets" ...NOTHING. When we attempted to ask for packets he had already shut his window!!! OMG, I was fuming. We had spent $40 plus dollars & this is the service you condone? We sat there until he opened window again & he reluctantly gave us a very minimal amount to use on the very large amount of food we paid for. He was not pleasant nor was he helpful. Today we went here after running errands and to escape the 110° weather. I was hungry too, so I decided to look up online keto friendly options when ordering here. I LOVE Panda Express but today I was disappointed in the meat portions. I ordered the chicken bowl that had 3 small pieces of fire chicken. Really impressed with the service and staff! 5 stars all across! The staff was very attentive and helpful. We had to wait for the food because they were cooking fresh shrimp, they handed our food to us while waiting. WORST, WORST, WORST food........... Overpriced mess, and mostly very bad Fried Rice, which does NOT look or taste like Fried Rice... Just a mushy pale mess ( a few frozen veggies in the mushy pale rice).... The Styrofoam container was handled by 4-5 persons before the food went in it..... That is very unsanitary... The food looked beyond bad, did not taste like anything, did not smell like Chinese food... veggies tasted watery. The food is cut up in tiny pieces and floats in water...... The container leaked in the bag........... I'd NEVER go back there ever again. Save your money and make rice at home with scrambled eggs, chopped onions and soy sauce, and you'll have a much better meal. ( Theirs lacks all those ingredients...) I have to point out about the plastic gloves.............. One young lady had plastic gloves on, but she touched everything, from the food to the register, to her hair.......................... Not the best experience. I was asked to pull around to the 3 green waiting spaces for my food to be brought out that it would take about 5 minutes. 10 minutes into waiting I decided to go inside and ask where my food was this is after having to park in other spaces because the 3 spaces were taken by cars that were empty even though they were clearly marked that they were for customers waiting for food. Once inside I saw the entrees that I had requested on the hot food line. When I asked someone if they could help me that I had been waiting she said yes please wait while I finish this order. I had already been waiting at this point 10 to 15 minutes. They handed me my things only to find out that the order was taken or was filled incorrectly and there were no utensils inside the bag. The unique architecture with a giant panda peeking out of the corner of the structure make it stand out. The inside is certainly as clean and pristine as the outside. Upon entering the facility I was greeted with a cheerful, "Welcome to Panda Express". The layout and the food is just what I'd expect from a standard Panda Express. Sometimes I take it for granted how consistently good their food is all the time, every time. I had the kung pao chicken, teriyaki chicken, with some crispy shrimp on the side. Every item is moist, not dry and serves as a great escape from another burger or taco fast food day. Here's what I liked... * Great food.
