The first one was fine as usual but the 2nd plates dude was too busy talking to one of the lady not sure who she was sitting on the table and talking the entire time while we were waiting for them to complete our ordered. Anyway the 2nd order never got completed we even told him he was missing 1 item . He ignored us and move on to the next customer . Either way I never expected this from PANDA !! Walked out while in the middle of an incomplete ordered . I might be impatient @ times but as I customer I don't like to be ignored when i politely waiting for my order. Food is still pretty good. While quality has slipped ever so slightly since the takeoff of Panda Express, I still enjoy my meal, every time.

Decided I'm going to update the review. It's been 2 years This is still a very very busy Panda Express it stays slammed pretty much from open doors to open closed I came in there was a little bit of a line tonight but it was all right I didn't mind waiting. The tables were kind of nasty and filthy but that was okay things were taken care of. I got my usual favorite steam brown rice on the bed with grilled teriyaki chicken on top. Like to teriyaki chicken because it's a grilled option usually I do a two entree and it always varies as I add either beef and broccoli, orange chicken or honey walnut shrimp. Because I had some ulcers a few years back I have to be careful with spicy stuff I don't drop a lot of spicy food down the old gullet anymore. I'm very careful with that that was not a fun ordeal and I don't want to go through it again. SO I do eat spicy stuff occasionally but here no it's a little too spicy ON SOME OF THEIR ENTREES. I told the manager I'm going to eat here and if you don't mind could you clean a few tables after all pretty nasty looking and full and they sent somebody out and they cleaned it out promptly which was a good thing. I didn't use the can this visit because my terminal is only about 5 minutes away. But all in all usually when I come in here every few months and she is good three and a half to four Star experience and this wasn't much of a change so I'm holding it at four stars still keep up the good work. read more

Came by here to pick up some food for my kiddos after an afternoon out with a buddy. My kids really enjoy this place. It's actually one of the only fast food places that I will eat at with them occasionally. They love the orange chicken and the noodles, but when I do eat here I like the teriyaki chicken plain (without the extra sauce). Though if I'm honest, I'd rather go to a number of other Asian restaurants instead, panda is ok when you don't have time to sit down and order, but instead need something quick on the fly. Don't get me wrong, they put out a decent fair, but I personally prefer Thai, Japanese, Korean, or a good dim sum restaurant with some Cantonese or Sichuan dishes over an Americanized Chinese chain. This panda express location is probably one of the best in Middle TN. They give good portions most of the time. The staff is friendly as well. It's conveniently close to the movie theater, so there is always parking. I highly recommend the super greens and black pepper angus steak. read more

The food at panda is always going to be pretty solid. Not much can get messed up there it's a uniform process. The problem w this spot is the service. I got in line and basically watched 7 cars go by with their orders most cars with 2 people in them. This guy Wilbur working the window is a beast. He serves the food with excellence and just gets orders done quickly. No fuss just a man in his element. So as I watched those service cars go by I stood there for 15 minutes. The only guy in line. Finally, Adel came over the manager. He apologizes to me about the wait and then proceeds to serve me a meal only fit for a field louse. Skimped me on the low Mein and bringing beef. It's as if he measured it so that it was even with the tray walls on the inside. I couldn't believe it. Make a man wait then skimp him to save cost. Cmon adel. The only good call he made that day was putting Wilbur at the drive thru. Outside of that you belong in McDonald's. As for the rest of the staff they were super polite and attentive. Best advice. The food here is always tasty, but you dont get value for your money. I got the 2 plate with orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp. For a $1.25 upcharge on the honey walnut shrimp, I got less than half of what I got for the orange chicken. If I'm paying more for quality, then the amount I'm served should be the same. Do yourself a favor and go to a real Chinese restaurant if that's what you're craving. The few times that I have had to endure Panda Express always ended in my GI tract reminding me that it was a horrific idea. The food quality is average, but it's not worth being sick for two days afterward. The folks always seem pleasant enough at this location. Nope, Panda Express does not serve Panda - so misleading! I didn't really drive off, I decided on chicken of some sort. Basically that is what this is - chicken of some sort, beef of some sort, seafood of some sort or pork of some sort. It is basically an Americanized version of you basic Chinese take-out, but with a drive-thru. Nothing says "Merica like a drive-thru. Pretty soon you will be able to pull up to Walgreens and get your flu shot at the drive-thru. Although they wouldn't get me a 2 liter Pepsi the other night when I picked up my prescription... Panda is OK. It is so rarely on my radar due to better options such as the aforementioned Chinese take-out places. I don't think I have ever awakened in the middle of the night craving me some Panda Express. I got a feeling the only think Oriental about Panda Express is the "made in America" fortune cookies - wait - what? Use the drive-thru and it is employees choice. You cannot ascertain the freshness of the dish you just ordered. If inside you might gravitate away from the General chicken that appears to have been deep-friend a week or so ago. I have had a good meal or two here, but never anything great. If they consider their food great - I have my doubts about the "Great" Wall of China. I'm going to make this brief, the steak and chicken were the highlight of the meal (ofcourse) but still not that great... for the additional charge for steak, I was thinking it was going to be worth it and it wasn't. The noodles I got were cold & hard :( I barely touched during my experience. I was going to let an employee know when one of them came around to ask how everything was, but no one ever said anything, they just kept cleaning around me. You can definitely tell that most of the employees don't put much effort into the food or experience of their guests which are two of those the main reasons why I won't be coming back. Such a shame. This has to be the most careless location I've even been to . I love panda and this is the only one by my house. I want to keep eating panda but this location and staff make me not want to. There have been Numerous time I've called back not happy, I feel like I'm being cheated out of correct portion size also especially when I get the angus steak. They always forget my hot sauce and we just ordered online and got home they forgot our Rangoon's. I will never eat here again. After giving them several chances, calling the health department twice, and talking to the manager several times, I have officially given up on this place. If you talk to most people in the area, we all have about the same opinion. Eat here if you want food poisoning. I followed a cook out of the bathroom after he passed me while I was finishing washing my hands while he did not. I figured surely he would wash them on the line. Nope, he just went straight to a cooking station and went back to work. Talked to a manager who really didn't do anything. Just let the guy keep cooking with his nasty hands. On another visit, right when they opened, I asked for white rice. The girl opened the rice cooker and discovered it was full but cold. She and another employee determined that it was the rice from the day before that was left out overnight. The second girl stuck her nose in the cooker, smelled the rice, and instructed the first employee to just turn it on. "It should be fine" she said. All of this happened less than 5 feet in front of me. I was in awe. I walked out and called the health department and their comments hotline. After that day, I will never so much as step foot on their property. I don't know what it is about this one store. I have been to others with no problems. Oct. 26, 2013- My boyfriend got food poisoning from this location from the Shanghai beef. I called the store to let them know and the manager proceeded to inform me how it could not be food poisoning because of this and that. I explained I wasn't calling to complain and just wanted to let them know so they could prevent other people from getting sick. I come on here to warn people of the poor customer service and it looks like other people have gotten sick too! Having worked in food service I can say this is extremely unacceptable. It's obviously a reoccurring issue that is not being dealt with properly. I would give this store no stars except it won't let me submit without having at least one star. read more

We happened to come in at the right time before the rush came in. Even though they were not busy the food were all fresh and stocked. Like they were ready and expecting the lunch crowd. The brown rice was cooked perfectly this time. All the entrees we got were fresh and seasoned well. The service was friendly. The prices, however, are a little high for a fast food restaurant. Worst service ever. I've been to this place 4 times and they screwed up my order twice. They rush so fast that they don't focus on what they are doing and I ended up getting something that I didn't even order. If you can't work fast and concentrate on what you are doing then slow down. I don't care how busy you are. I would rather for you to move a little slower and get my order right than to rush so fast that you screw up my order. I won't be going back. The staff are friendly somedays & other they seem like they're pissed that you showed up to get food. Panda Express always makes me miss City Wok, which makes me miss this amazing sushi restaurant that I used to live by, which has since achieved an ACTUAL freaking 4-star Michelin rating; and I'm sure I could never afford it now. THAT place... I knew it was too good to be true. It was just getting off the ground, we were there when it opened, and they sushi masters would bring special tasting plates over because we were regulars. We were always like "How is this place not on Sunset Blvd. or Robertson?" The whole staff was super, super attentive back then, with not a lot of customers yet; and testing dishes on us every time we come in. Now I'm sure I couldn't afford a meal there. It's a beautiful, beautiful memory, though. They were so sweet and caring and nice. They would hover over you after every meal and then offer other tastings and bites and samples and quiz if you liked them. We were very lucky to try it. And the wine list! Meal budget was strained for the day, I had no choice. I didn't have crazy high expectations, and I will say that the meat here is in NO DANGER of being undercooked good god. They leave it on the heat until it's nice and completely cooked dry haha. Sauce flavors were okay. Sides were not terrible, the brown rice was cooked right but the chow mein was a bit on the dry side. Fried shrimp were surprisingly good. Egg roll tasted questionable.
