I'll always love Jersey Mike's. I get a craving about once a month and nothing can quite scratch that itch besides a 13 on rosemary parm. This Jersey Mike's does a good job of making the classics and I can't knock them on their sandwich making prowess. The employees working here are not friendliest though. Terrible attitudes and bad disposition can make the whole ordering process awkward and uncomfortable. I get that it's just fast food and that you aren't making a lot of money, but it's still wild to me that a manager sees this type of behavior and doesn't say anything. read more

This place is a complete joke in customer service. I placed a phone order and called back to confirm the order. The young lady an attitude and was rude. I apologise to her for disturbing her. I walked into the establishment and the man at the register didn't knowledge I was standing waiting to pay. He immediately took the gentleman that had just completed his order. A black African American asked me if I was picking up an order. The first person to notice I was standing waiting to be helped. I gave her the information then the man at the cashier wanted to help. After paying I asked for manager which is Richard. Now I see why the lady that answer the phone was unhappy. I asked Richard if I could speak with him. He rolled his eye at me. Walked over and stated yes. I explained the telephone situation and I called back to confirm. He immediately caught an attitude and stated we don't call back order. I said I didn't asked that I call back to confirm please advise if I am wrong. I stated to Richard I see that this is not a concern to you. Richard stated I'm listening to you. I stated no problem, who is the GM of the store Richard stated I am. Thank you Richard for showing me how you value your customers. Thank you for being rude and disrespectful to your customers. I wait; he turns and looks at me; says nothing. Keeps cleaning the slicer. I wait. He looks again, says nothing then yells for a young lady in the kitchen area. She sees me, looks; says nothing and doesn't come out of prep area. Young man continues to clean slicer. Says nothing. I make eye contact with young lady again. She says nothing; doesn't move. worst service and sub ever , my girlfriend picked us up food her on her way home, i am disgusted by mayo and the man at the counter asked if I wanted mayo my gf replied no then he proceeds to lather my sub up in mayo and i had to drive 45 minutes back there for them to not offer to fix my sub. I would not normally give 4-stars to a fast food place, but Jersey Mike's in Smyrna, TN provides an extraordinary experience, with pleasant staff, uplifting music, and one of the best take-out sub sandwiches I've had (which have been many)! My typical sandwich is the Giant #7 (turkey) on wheat, which I share with my wife (and plenty to eat for both). To simply ordering, we simply say "Mike's way", and they know what to do! All meat is freshly sliced, on freshly baked bread, the accessorized with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar, with salt and pepper. Perfect! Happy eating... read more

The best place in its class to eat in Smyrna, the staff is very attentive and always make me feel as if customers are a #1 priority. A very clean establishment and they get you in and out with a smile. Jersey Mike's is a national change. It is rare that I review a major chain, but this chain has my heart, so to speak. Their restaurant started in Point Pleasant, NJ in 1956. I was born in 1956 and spent a lot of time in Point Pleasant. I've been to the original store. Many years ago, I ate at this chain many times. At work, we loved the food and ordered out weekly. There used to be a store near my home, but they closed. Smyrna had the store, so out of nostalgia, I sought them out. The food met their corporate standards, which are very high. I was glad to see that after many years, they are still producing high quality food at a good price. I highly recommend this chain. read more

I lived in Jersey, so I'm fully qualified to make this review. Big line tonight, guys were working hard, were apologetic about the wait, but it was slow. I had nowhere to be so it was okay. Had the Original Italian, Mike's Way. Almost everything is fresh sliced for your sandwich. The meat for the cheesesteaks is frozen, but freshly grilled. I had the wheat bread- pretty average. Mini cookie for $0.65 was a nice treat. Two TV's going, each with a baseball game on (NL & AL). Sound on one was louder, but could also hear the other game AND the radio in back. NOISE POLLUTION. If I could give negative stars I would. My husband just stopped to grab some lunch. He ordered a kids ham and cheese with mayo and lettuce. He was told they were out of mayo. That there was more in the back but they were too short staffed to go get the mayo from the back. He was then given a Giant sized cup because they told him they were out of lids for the kids sized cup. Additional sandwiches ordered came without lettuce, apparently the kids sandwich used all the lettuce they had left? Oil without vinegar and salt without pepper, because the vinegar and pepper were also out. So, instead of stopping their production line to replenish their condiments they all simply soldiered on leaving terribly dissatisfied customers in their wake that surely will never return to patron the establishment ever again. I'm more than sure most if not all of the customers in that line would have gladly waited a few extra minutes while the staff replenished their stock if it ment they were going to get their order exactly as they ordered it and NOT HALF ASSED! If you have never been to this place then I suggest thast you go. Every time I go Freddy is working and let me tell you that he is the man. He play around with me when he makes my sandwich and he will tell you that it is made with love and it really is. This ain't no Subway. Went for lunch today. Extremely long wait to order. I ordered the Philly cheese steak. After I ordered it was another nearly 30 minute wait for the food. My order was "to go" so I was standing by the counter right next to the register. Several people came and went and I noticed that some of them ordered after me. I finally asked the employee where was my sandwich? It was sitting on the back counter for who knows how long. When I got it you could tell it wasn't as warm as it should be. It wasn't cold, but it sure wasn't hot. Overall I feel the service was poor. In addition, I dont think it's a good value. A regular Philly, just the sandwich, was $9.05. I would expect a bigger sandwich with more inside for that price. It did taste good and bet it would be better hot off the grille. read more

My favorite sub shop in Smyrna! The bread is always baked fresh, the veggies fresh and crisp, and the service is friendly. The guys there will have a friendly conversation with you and it's a joy to talk to them. I recommend getting the 'giant sub' of whatever you get: it's the best money value since it is a little pricey, and you can take the rest for lunch the next day. read more

I'm going to give them 1 just because they acknowledge I was there! No white bread at 5 on a Saturday? Then when I told him wheat he said last one that size? Needless to say the 1 I got after cutting it in half one side was hard. I didn't get mustard because I seen all three bottle up against the heating machine that keeps the bacon warm! So I ended my sandwich with lettuce and banana peppers. I was so happy to get a Jersey Mike sub for the first time in Smyrna..... Tasted like I had taken a bite out of a dirty sponge..... Well what I think a dirty sponge taste like!!! Will not be back! The worse 7 dollars I've ever spent!
