    Carne Asada Loaded Fries
    Cleo G.

Had a good lunch here. It's super small and quaint, and that's how you know you're getting the real deal stuff. Tried the "evergreen" sandwich and the "ocky way" with sausage. Both were great. My favorite of the two was the evergreen simply because it was fresher, and the ocky way, while rich, sometimes tasted a bit bland. But both were still great. Also tried some of the carne asada fries. They're pretty good, run of the mill loaded fries. I've also heard the rueben here is to die for.

Making my way around some of the delis I haven't been to yet. This time I got to visit 615 Deli for lunch. Location is kind of hidden if you don't know what you're looking for. Once you step inside it has a small dining area with countertops and Belmont proud art on the wall by the menu. In a traditional deli sense, the menu was quite large. The menu however did not have a lot of what I would expect from a traditional deli. I was a little let down by not seeing any variety of Italian meats, as Italian Sando's are my favorite. However, I did enjoy my sandwich. The staff was very friendly and recommended me their opinion of what I should get based just off me saying I preferred a hot sandwhich to cold. I ended up with the Milanesa. Breaded chicken cutlet with very fresh and spicy jalapeños and boars head pepper jack cheese. Sandwich was good, although a little dry. I would prefer a little more of a "wet" sandwich and I think some form of sauce or aioli would be a welcome addition to this one. Overall for $12 can't complain. I will be back to try some other offerings but won't be at the very top of my to try again list for the time being.

Got the Rueben - SO GOOOD! First time here, will be back, the staff are super friendly and the place is cute to chill and eat. Parking might be a little challenging at the wrong time but, the sandwich was fire.

    Pastrami Sandwich

I love it here. They will definitely be knowing me by name. Not only are they so friendly but so quick. I was born up north and love delis and sandwiches alike! This place makes me so happy! I get the Pastrami sandwich every time with extra mustard and salt and vinegar chips. It comes w a pickle, as it should. I always call it in and it takes about 8-10 minutes. I have never came here and not had the exact same amount of meat, same size sandwich, whatever could go wrong just doesn't! I crave this sandwich many times a week but try and limit myself I'll add a picture below ! Please check them out!

Great local spot. Nice , broad menu. Inside needs a little more cleaning and can be hit or miss but it's a solid go-to by Belmont U.

My wife and I stopped at Little Hats while visiting our daughter in Germantown, and wow, this place…read moredid not disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan sub, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken was super tender, packed with flavor, and the sandwich was huge. I only made it through half and ended up eating the rest later that night. It was just as good the second time around. My wife had the Spicy Italian, and she loved it. The sweet pickles on it really made the sandwich stand out and gave it an awesome flavor. The atmosphere was really cool and felt very authentic. They also have a grocery section where you can buy authentic Italian sauces, pasta noodles, and other items, which was a nice touch. The only thing that surprised us was the fountain drinks being $5 each, but they do come in a souvenir cup. If you're looking for an amazing sub sandwich, I highly recommend Little Hats. The food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and Germantown itself is a great area to walk around and explore. There are tons of cool places nearby. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Nashville. I'd give this a 5 out of 5 stars.

The parking lot was crowded when we pulled up and there is a number you have to call to register your vehicle or else it could get towed. We found this info on a sign inside while waiting in line to order. The menu had so many good options, but I was in the mood for a sandwich, so the Spicy Italian is what I got. We got a number and had no problem finding an indoor table as it was hot out. The outdoor patio is very large though and this place can hold a lot of people. The food came out in 10 minutes or so and the fontina cheese went well with the spicy cherry peppers, which were unique to this sandwich. It also came with some potato salad. There was a self serve water station and you bus yourself.

I am absolutely sure that in the hour my friend and I were waiting, six other other customers were seated ahead of us. Standing for an hour is okay but only if they're actually taking the customers in order. But then we were seated and with the small menu, I was able to order. A few minutes later, Big Al shouts, "Does anyone want a cinnamon bun?" and I have never been closer to taking a walk from my keto diet. But I was good and only drooled a little watching the couple sitting next to us split theirs. It smelled so good. Brunch arrived and we've now been at Big Al's for 90 minutes. I had selected the day's special, the FOUR egg steak omelet which I had with peppers and onions *filled* the plate. Sloppy and tasty and loaded with probably half a pound of sliced steak. I only took one small bit of my biscuit - fluffy and light but heavy and dense. Delicious. My friend had a concoction that I can only call The Coronary Plate: Fried eggs, fried potatoes, fried chicken. Half of a fried chicken that looked better than anything I've ever seen at KFC or Popeye's or my own beloved Bojangles. Crispy, slightly burned but a light batter and a juicy center. Yeah, get that. Big Al's is an anachronism. The food is cooked by hand, it's delicious and it stands halfway down the block of a completely residential neighborhood. You'll be driving the last couple of blocks and wondering, what am I getting in to? Trust me, they're probably open. Pro tip: Try the gravy. It's spicy! Turnover is quick, so even when they are at capacity, and the waiting list looks daunting, you should still put your name down. We were told the chalkboard has the specials, and shrimp and grits are available on the weekends. I loved my shrimps and grits. The grits were so hearty and buttery, and the shrimp had a good amount of spice. We also got the sweet potato chorizo hash, which had the perfect amount of slight heat and special spice blend. (The spices looked red, but I don't know what they were other than paprika??) Both dishes came with biscuits, generously buttered. We were told the biscuits and gravy were special, because the chef does a brown gravy instead of the white gravy. We felt like we had enough food, but if I am ever back in town, I'd try this dish. You'll want to walk off this meal, but don't miss it if you're in Nashville!
