We love Whataburger and we have tried many locations. This one was great. It was easy to get to and our wait for our food was only a few minutes. The service was great and helpful in getting us extra condiments after we forgot to originally ask for them. Overall, a great and easy stop in Smyrna. read more

Whataburger - Burgers Near Me - Smyrna, Tennessee

It's okay. Not terrible but not the best either. It took forever to even get our food, and it wasn't fresh. Tasted like it had been from the day before. read more

When this location opened it was my first experience with Whataburger. I've since eaten here about three or four times and each time has been a disappointment. I don't care how much bigger your burgers are if they're frozen patties. The onion rings come frozen in a bag. As I suspect most of the food here does. Everything about this place is terrible. The kids that act like you're from fucking Mars when you ask them to alter anything on your burger, and then it takes what seems like a fortnight to get a substandard meal. I can't speak for other locations, but whoever owns this franchise get your shit together. You're embarrassing the brand I'm sure. I make a better hamburger than more than half the fast food joints in town. Shout out to Karin's Kustard and Floyd's Burger joint for holding it down with some of the best smashburgers around. You should just go there. read more

As fast food burgers go, they are better than the old staple. Bigger, better value and better taste/ingredients.

Food is good...but it's supposed to be fast food and every-time I order ahead and go inside for my order it takes forever and someone else inside has always been waiting even longer than me! read more

Whataburger... more like WT#. I've tried both locations the one in Smyrna and the one in Murfreesboro and both are awful. So if it's two different locations and both the quality and service suck than it must be part of their culture. This chain is probably one of the worst I've seen in some time. You wait 35-45 min for a burger that looks like an infant was playing with their food. I don't understand how a restaurant could fail so epically on every level, it's almost impressive. read more

Whatburger, should change its name to WAITaburger. We pulled up and waited almost five minutes to have the drive thru start the order. We were the "hold on a second"ed l, another wait. We did place our order and proceeded to wait another fifteen minutes with only one car in front of us. The food was ok, but the dang fries were cold. I hope this crew gets some help because they are in need of it. Probably will not return to this location, I would drive on. read more

We went on a Saturday at lunch time and it was fairly busy. We got our food quickly, order was 100% right and the staff (maybe a manager) was very nice and thanked us for coming. It was a good experience. read more

I've been a fan of Whataburger for some time now, and this location, like all others, does NOT disappoint!

I was at the Smyrna location today and had one of their Burger and a Sausage Taquito with Cheese and both were very good. Staff was very friendly, and store was clean. I made a video about it. Look up "Eating at Whataburger for the first time!" at my YT channel "The Bald German Goes Eating" read more

Whataburger - Burgers Near Me - Smyrna, Tennessee

This was my first time at Whataburger.my burger was fabulous. The fries were delicious . the service was pretty good you order from the kiosk so it's not very personal anymore but it seems like a lot of restaurants are doing that. Restaurant was nice and clean I did not check out the restroom. If I had anything that I wish was better would be maybe the price being a little cheaper but I would definitely go back and I think that we need a Whataburger in Knoxville Tennessee. read more

The food is great, I just wish it didn't take 40 minutes to get my order in the drive through. My advice is use curbside and you'll get your food in less than 10 minutes. read more

Burgers are good! Staff is very friendly. However the inside isn't open yet. I think because it's so new and crowd rush is large they get orders mixed up. I would recommend this place but check your order before leaving you have a huge chance of your order being mixed up and receiving something you may or may not have ordered. All and all they're new and working through the kinks. I will continue to go but just check my order. read more

Food was good. But holy crap you guys are about as slow as a bunch of turtles. Seriously it wasn't even that busy and yall mfers took 40 minutes to make my food. (It was a basket of fries) read more

Here's my overall experience in Whataburger. Whataburger is one of my favorite restaurants, and the food is absolutely amazing! Every item I've tried has been delicious and satisfying. The people were happy, and the floors and tables were clean, which added to the positive experience. However, the service can be slow due to a shortage of staff, which means there are often many people waiting for their food. Despite my impatience after waiting 20 minutes, the food was well worth it. They did get one item of my order wrong, but overall, it was still an amazing experience. I highly recommend Whataburger for its fantastic food, even if you have to be a bit patient. read more

This is the 5th time I have tried this spot. I have yet to get any order I have ever placed at this location right. Whataburger as a whole is great, I really do enjoy it. This exact location is the worst you can possibly find. My entire order is wrong every single time I go here. I ordered a number 2 and added cheese with bacon. I got a single burger with no cheese, no bacon, no ketchup no mustard. In that same order I asked for large fry, got a small. I also asked for a Dr Pepper milkshake and got vanilla. I get people make mistakes, but absolutely every single time I come here this happens. Customer service is good, the brand itself is great. But how can we mess it up all the time. Every time I show up I just hope the drive through would get it right, only to be met with let downs. read more

This is by far the worst Whataburger I have ever been to. You don't get what you order and pay for and the service is slow. Your food can't be wrong and nasty and your delivery of food is slow. That just isn't right! I will not return to this location. read more

Do their employees know how to read??? Every time I order an Unsweet (no matter the Whataburger) the give me Sweet Tea, which I can't drink because I am Diabetic. Also, giving me a less than half full container of medium onion rings is not acceptable. I'm about done with this business. While I like their food, their excessive wait times and the lack of care to get the orders right is mind boggling. Corporate needs to stop ignoring their many twitter complaints and get to fixing their company, before they start loosing business all together. I know that several people in my area are fed up with the lack of quality and service and have stopped going to their restaurants. This is sad because Whataburger was a big part of my childhood. I guess nothing last forever. I would avoid this place and go somewhere where they actually care. read more

Fast, friendly and efficient service during our dine in experience. Portions were perfect and our food was fresh and tasty.

I've gotten food from here at least 20 times since it's been open. Had old fries once but they replaced them when I asked. Otherwise it's always been good. About to try the chili cheese fries and chili cheese burger in a few minutes read more

This place is horrible I waited 30 min for one meal got home tried to eat it but it was so bad I had to throw it away!

I really wanted to like this place. The restaurant was clean and modern. However, it took at least 15 minutes just to get a hamburger and fries. When I received the food, it was not very hot. The fries were chewy. Quite a bit of a staff appeared to be on break. One of the staff members, who might be the manager, was asleep on a table. The other staff members were coming over looking at him and giggling. This is no way to run a restaurant. read more

Whataburger - Manager? - Burgers Near Me - Smyrna, Tennessee

Food - I LOVE Whataburger. Finally got to visit the location in Smyrna. Ordered a plain bacon cheeseburger. They put mustard on it, tried to scrape it off. Sent the order out incorrect. I had no dinner tonight. The young lady in the drive thru was great. Very polite and efficient. read more

We pulled in and the parking lot was empty except for a few employee's cars. We got excited, but honestly that should have been out clue to leave. Walked in and stood at the register for 10 minutes without one person saying anything to us. Once we finally ordered, it took FOREVER for food to come out. Every table was dirty and we had to wet napkins at the drink machine in order to wipe our table down. Keep driving if you are hungry! read more

What's wrong with the What a Burger in Smyrna?????? I'm half Texan and I was so excited to have a What A burger come to Smyrna. I tried them when they 1st opened. The food was expensive, but good. The wait times were insane !!!!!!! I havent been there in several months . I decided to see how things were now. There were 4 cars in front of me and one behind when I got there. ( drive thru) i thought about making a 2nd line but just pulled in as number 4 in the 1st line. We were sitting there and after 8 minutes, one car in front of me moved to the 2nd line. Everyone sat for 4 more minutes. No one was moving. A car in front of me and one behind me got out of line and left. Finally the lead car pulls forward. Now im 2nd in line to order. We wait some more. The car in the 2nd line, pulls forward. I thought he ordered. No, he just drove around to get back in my line. Finally the car in front of me gets to order and she pulls up. The 1st car was still waiting at the pick up window. Im at the speaker ready to order. And we wait. A car pulls up to the 2nd line speaker. I rolled down my window to tell them that no one is waiting on that line? He thanked me and got in the back of my line. Someone inside must have heard me because he quit laughing and took my order???? $20.37 for 2 cheeseburgers , 1 med fries and 1 med onion rings??? No drinks. The 1st guy was still at the pick up window???? Finally he gets 2 big bags of food. The car in front of me got her food not long after she pulled up to the window. Finally my turn. And we wait some more. I could see at least 8 employees inside. Something was going on because they kept high five if each other. The young man took my money and confirmed that i didnt want any drinks. The line behind me had grown by now. At least 5 cars long. The employee's kept bringing drinks up to the window. Usually if there's a hold up on an item, they ask you to pull up. Not today, we just all waited. Several employees stuck their heads out the window to see how many cars were in line??? Finally after waiting 32 minutes my order was handed to me. I pulled up and checked it before i pulled away. The order seemed correct. I live about 8 minutes from the restaurant and wrapped the order up in an insulated wrap to keep it warm. Got home, burgers warm but just dried out and no flavor to the meat. The fries and onion rings were cold. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. Sonic is by far a better value and i have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order even when they are busy. read more

Whataburger - the exterior of a fast food restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Smyrna, Tennessee

Food was average. Buns were better than some fast food places Service was friendly Ambiance was average however the trash containers were overflowing to the floor and the restroom was a disaster. Very disappointing and troubling. Reflects the spirit of employees. If they don't care for the facility do they care about the food and cleanliness. read more

OMG I just went to the Whataburger here in Smyrna Tennessee. I went when it first started when it first came the burger was so good the french fries you could actually taste. I won't go back for a while. I'm gonna type budget and this was a considered a treat, but I feel like I just wasted money. read more

I waited 25 minutes for French fries. They came and had hair in them. I ended up tossing them in the trash.

I like the burgers and shakes but unless you like waiting in line forever do not go there!! I have only been there 3 times since it opened and every time it took them forever to get me my food. The customer service is awful. Today will be the last time I go there. The guy running the register screwed up my order so a manager had to come and fix it along with them giving me a different shake than what I ordered. Didn't realize that till I pulled away and I wasn't going back. read more

Just doing drive thru and leaving the doors unlocked but not being polite when saying lobby closed ..I get not having staff and having to run drive only but guest don't know any better and then being rude to them when they are trying to spend money well I will go to freddys where I can get good service and sit down to eat ..Don't waste your money here! read more

Completely disappointing, I loved Whataburger in Texas but this one has been disappointing from the beginning, this is my third visit, and this time I decided to try the chili burger, well, my fries were cold, the burger was overdone, and there was hardly any chili. read more

The staff was friendly. The restrooms were clean. However, our dinning experience was a disaster . Four out of 5 of our sandwich were not made correctly. Our children have allergies to mustard, we requested no mustard, 2 of our hambergers did have mustard. I ordered a chicken salad, and was served a chicken sandwich. One of the burgers was ordered stated, it came with a bun and only meat. The staff was kind and upon presenting recites , orders were corrected. It took over 30 minutes to get things corrected. Having hungry small children, this was a challenge. Never again! read more

I usually don't give the highest or lowest scores when I rate something, but I'll give WB five stars today. This is my fourth visit since they opened several months ago, and the first visit in several weeks, and they appear to have gotten the opening kinks in my first three visits worked out. I rated them two stars for my last visit, and I'll give the five stars for the improvement. I was greeted fairly promptly and in a friendly manner. I ordered online and though I had to wait for a few minutes after my order was scheduled to be ready, it was for a fresh order of fries, so bonus for me I guess. The burger and fries tasted good and were still hot when I got them home. The store was generally clean. This experience was more what I expect from Whataburger. read more

As with any new restaurant, it is popular and there are long lines in the drive though currently. It will get better with time. The lobby is not open yet to the public. However, I felt that it was worth the wait. It is the best fast food burger I've had. The burger patty is not over seasoned like Freddy's (too salty yuck!) and the fries are tasty. I am now addicted to the spicy ketchup! The staff are friendly. read more

Waited in line for 30 mins because the lobby is not open and I was unable to pull out of the line. Ordered the food anyway since I was forced to wait. only to receive my order WRONG! It to an additional 20 mins to get the corrected order which didn't even taste great. I'm not a fan and will not be returning. Lived in Smyrna for 18 years they could have kept this in Jersey. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. Sat in line for about 15 minutes. ......only one car in front of me. Then when I got to the window I had to wait another 15 minutes at least. Once I got my food and pulled off we started to eat. It was cold and half raw. You would think after waiting that long that it would be fresh and done! 21 bucks later we are still hungry and now ticked off. I called the restaurant and was told the reason for the wait and the poor quality of the food was due to it being shift change. This was my first and last time to go to Whataburger. Unless they do some serious hiring and training this place will not last long. Sounds like corporate needs to come in and do a quality check and do some retraining. read more

We waited in line for an hour. Only for them to mess up the order of the car in front of us twice. Once you get to a certain point in the line, you're trapped and have to wait until it's your turn to order. Through the window it looks like everyone is running around without any purpose or know what's going on. The poor girl running the food is getting the brunt of everybody's frustrations. I 10 out of 10 would not recommend this place to anyone. We've been to both the murfeesboro and Smyrna locations and both have been the exact same experience. read more

They forgot the chicken for my chicken sandwich. Also she didn't apologize, just looked at me. I won't be back.

I ordered through the drive thru and I had to repeat my order about 10 times for them to still get every single thing about my order wrong. I swear they were messing with me. I honestly blame management. The teenagers running it tonight were extremely understaffed and obviously had no real leadership present. Sad because my last visit here was perfect, no issues. read more
