My burger was SO the char was perfect. I just ordered the single cheeseburger. I should've got a double if was so good. My daughter ordered the kids meal chicken bites that were really good. The fries don't taste like much it was just crinkle fries. Their honey mustard was delicious even the sprite was good! Definitely going back.

Double smash burger with cheese and bacon.

I got the double smash cheese burger and it was GREAT!!! Get the combo with crinkle fries and a strawberry shake. GOOD STUFF! I love this place.

Double Smashburger was great. Mine did have A LOT of onions on it so I had to remove 90% of them. I am not a sauce person but it was good and definitely did not overpower the rest of the burger flavor. Crunchy edges on the patty just the way a smashburger should be. Onion rings tasted a bit off. I think the fryer's oil may be due for a change. I would try them again but they were a miss tonight. Staff was friendly. Line moved a little slow.

Went out of our way to eat at Floyd's. Smash burgers and fries were excellent. Staff was friendly, ownership was very kind. The only negative was that we had to sit in the sun on a hot day. Floyd's, please add umbrellas to tables so we don't have to sit in the sun the whole time. Otherwise, food was excellent. read more

2nd visit. They have a handful of picnic benches outside where you can enjoy your meal. Additionally, there are restrooms colocated adjacent to the picnic area. Super friendly service as always. Burgers are definitely delicious. Their sauce really compliments the burgers and the onions and maters are fresh and crisp. Love the fries too. Very basic, and very tasty. read more

Seeing all of the posts about Floyd's Burger Joint in Smyrna coupled with my craving for a burger this afternoon...road trip! Went to the walk-up and met Tinsley who opened the window with a smile and answered my questions about the burgers. I went for the Double Smashburger and the onion rings as a side. When it comes to smash burgers...these folks know what they are doing. First...you'll need a bib as this burger is juicy, flavorful, and "crispy" around the edges. The Floyd's Famous sauce was a great compliment to the burger...you really don't need anything else. The onion rings were OK...not my favorite, but I am a snob when it comes to my onion rings. I believe this is one of the BEST smash burgers around...hands down. Great food and excellent, friendly service! read more

I parked and went to the walk-up window. I was warmly greeted and she took my order. The wait for my food was brief and I was asked if I wanted any sauces to go with my burger. The patties had a wonderful crust, the sauce was perfect and it was delightfully greasy. It was a guilty pleasure. read more

Floyd's Burger Joint offers a very limited menu with just three options for burgers: the single smash burger, the double smash burger, and the Floyd. They also offer onion rings, a chicken, tender sandwich and plain chicken tenders. Along with hotdog options where you choose your own toppings. While simplicity can sometimes be a strength, in this case it highlights a bigger issue--the value just isn't there. The burgers themselves are surprisingly small, comparable to a basic McDonald's hamburger or even a kids' meal portion. Given the prices, this was disappointing. I ordered a single smash burger for $8.99 and a side of fries for $2.49 before tax. The wait in the drive‑through was longer than expected, though I was willing to overlook that since the restaurant is still fairly new. For dinner for my family, I ordered the Floyd combo (which includes a drink and fries), plus an additional single smash burger and fries. In total, three burgers, three fries, and one drink came to just over $32. What made the experience more frustrating was realizing afterward that the staff member taking my order didn't mention that ordering the single smash burgers as combos would have saved me a noticeable amount. The Floyd combo is just under $12, and two single smash burgers together are $12--but the fries alone added nearly $6. As for the food itself, it was underwhelming. The burgers lacked flavor and substance, and the only standout item was the fries, which were at least crispy and well‑seasoned. Overall, I can't recommend Floyd's Burger Joint based on my visit. Between the small portions, high prices, and lackluster food, the experience simply didn't justify the cost. read more

This place knocked it out of the park. Not a huge fan of crinkle fries but their crinkle fries were amazing. Crispy on the out side and well salted. Not too much, not too little. Tried Floyd's for the first time and it didn't disappoint. Service was quick and friendly. Food was fresh, cooked to order, anf flavorful. Free refills in drinks. There was a steady line of people in the drive thru, there are some picnic tables outside to sit in. Looks like the word is spreading that this is the burger spot! We will be back! read more

Decided to try it since it's getting ALL the hype and Karin's Kustard was closed for New Year's Day. The people and the presentation of the food was great but I just couldn't get past the amount of grease the burger produced. It was in a paper bag lined with another piece of paper to help keep it all together. I don't know if it's the quality of meat or what but all I would suggest is to drain that grease off first. I couldn't finish it, pretty gross. The fries were great and they have my favorite drink. Just couldn't get past the overly greasy burger. I've never had that issue with Karin's kustards smash burgers, plus they load em up better. read more

One of the best smash burgers I've had Food was absolutely amazing atmosphere was definitely on point customer service 10 out of 10 food cooked to perfection The only thing I would do different is caramelized the onions and cook it in the meat. The restaurant has a little comfy and cozy ambience with soft background music playing. I ordered chicken, chicken fresh rolls and chicken satay just to give them a gander. My order took approximately 10 or so minutes to prepare. I must say that their fresh rolls are not skimpy. Probably some of the larger ones I've ever had. Definitely a hit and I really like the sauce that they were served with. The chicken satay was nice and moist, but it did lack just a smidgen of seasoning. Overall, the food was very good and satisfying.

They do have some covered outdoor tables. It can get busy, but the line moves quickly. The staff are always friendly and you may see Karen herself in the kitchen. They offer Fish, Chicken, Chili Dogs, Fried Bolagna, Grilled Cheese, Sides, Shakes, Floats and Sweet Treats and it's actually very affordable. If you're in Smyna or near the Boro, stop in and get you some. To finish the review- If you order for outdoor dining, they will give you a number and bring your food to you when its ready. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
