customer was outside eating, and the smell of the meal convinced me of an impulse buy. Opted for a bigger plate which consisted of a side plus 2 mains on the plate and a small container main. nice thing is that the serving platters were not huge so you know the kitchen needs to continually be cooking. Service was very personable, the space clean & attractive. My choice meats fried and sauced which were all good, my side the chow mein needed some soy, but still good. Lots of sauces available, and it included a fortune cookie. Overall for $14 a good experience. Plus easy parking via the lot behind the plaza.

Tofu eggplant, chicken mushroom, super green
Helen L.

Got a weds deal that I couldn't pass up. 2 plates for $14. What? A plate =2 entrees and 1 side. Got super greens. Love it. So garlicky. Chicken with mushrooms. Hardly any mushrooms. Eggplant and tofu, tiny kick. This was wok fresh. Beef broccoli. I had to wait for them to cook some more so that means it is freshly made, not sitting around. Depends on your server. One guy topped it off and gave a tiny extra. This is team work here. 4 people hustling to get starving people fed. Thank you for your hard work with a smile.

Clean location with fast service. Ordered a Bigger Plate, which comes with three entrees and a side. For my side, I chose Chow Mein. Next time, I would try a half / half of Chow Mein & Super Greens. For my three entrees, I got two orange chicken and one eggplant and tofu. These are my go to options at Panda Express and they are always good. I really wish they had a tofu + green beans options. I also ordered a Chicken Egg Roll, which was super soggy and not crunchy at all. I will never order fried food from Panda Express again.

Sizzling shrimp and string bean chicken

Love stopping by here for quick, easy takeout. Good prices and tasty American Chinese food. The plate is a good deal, and comes with two entrees plus a base. You can even split the base to be half rice and half chow mein. Favorites here are the kung pao chicken, string bean chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and more recently their new sizzling shrimp. The sizzling shrimp is so good. The sauce is rich and savory with tender grilled shrimp. Comes with juicy grilled onions and peppers. The portions are pretty small though. Wish they gave more of the entrees and less rice. You even get a free fortune cookie!

So excited that we now have a Panda Express takeout spot in the Laurel neighborhood. Panda replaced where Noah's Bagel used to be. We came by and ordered the bigger plate (3 items) and a rice bowl to share. More than enough food for us. I think the only downside is that there's no seating. However there are a few benches outside. Or you can eat at home or at the office. Open until 9 pm, so another option besides Super Duper and Proposition Chicken.

Walnut shrimp

Ordered a family feast of chow mein, super vegetables, orange chicken, Beijing beef, mushroom chicken, and a medium side of walnut shrimp for takeout. The food was mostly tasty. The chow mein was kind of plain. The super vegetables weren't garlicy like the the super vegetables from the Stonestown mall location. The orange chicken and mushroom chicken were fine. The Beijing beef had a little bit of spice to it. The serving size of the super vegetables, Beijing beef, and walnut shrimp could have been larger and actually take up all the space in the container! This should be the case especially for the medium size of walnut shrimp since it's a premium item and costs more! The shrimp only come up to about half the container! And there were barely and walnuts-maybe half a walnut was present.

Double Orange chicken and chow mein. And I open it and this is what i get.

Portions are huge, the coupons are awesome, and it's great for high protein meals, especially after working out at nearby JCCSF.

Once they started calling tables, it moved really fast. When we were seated, we ended up sharing a table with two other groups of two. I actually didn't mind it at all because there was still enough space between everyone to have privacy. It also made the experience feel more social -- I ended up chatting with the people to my right and left about the food. Everything we ordered was really good. Their popular dry fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and was probably my favorite thing on the menu... besides the cherry pork. I feel like nobody talks about the cherry pork enough! It was SO good -- kind of like a sweet-and-sour pork without the sour. I dipped it in soy sauce because I loved the sweet and salty combo together. The dumplings were also really good. The wrapper was thin and delicious, but my boyfriend said he wished they had a little more protein filling and less leek. The green beans are always a hit. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again was the black bean sauce noodles. Maybe I just expected a different flavor, but to me they honestly tasted like regular lo mein. I'm also not a huge noodle person in general, so I'd probably skip them next time and order something else instead. Forgot to mention their prices are on point! Definitely recommend to any of the tourists. I think the weight is definitely worth it and I love being able to take home my leftovers and eating them for lunch and dinner the next day.

We ended up ordered 1/3 of the menu, probably. Everything from their speciality squab to the limited time menu items like Singaporean chile crab. "Everything!" That's all one needs to say. At the entrance, clearly marked are signs reading, "Reservations" and "Walk-ins". Since we had reservations, we waited only a few minutes to get seated at the bar. The bar makes it easy to converse with your partner and to peer over as the fire from the range springs up from the kitchen. Our server brought us some "Free Bites" of roasted peanuts and smashed cucumbers. She was such a pleasant lady with quite the wit that made me laugh between courses. We ordered a full bottle of Negori sake. Note: if you do not finish the sake bottle, they cannot pack it to go for you, so drink up! Obviously, we couldn't order everything on the menu. For our first visit, we definitely wanted their special dish, Fried Squab. It was delicious! The meat was moist and the dipping salt with Sichuan peppercorn paired perfectly! Just don't focus too much on the visual... the head and claws. Hot Mustard Jellyfish Salad ~ I loved the "crunch" of the jellyfish and the hot mustard marinade was just spicy enough to start a slow burn up the nose. Beef Chow Fun Noodles ~ Delicious and so very savory. I was amazed at how flavorful this dish was without being salty. Clay Pot Rice w/Chinese Sausage & Bacon ~ Loved how the entire pot was seasoned nicely. The sauce did not only sit at the top, but penetrated deep down into the rice. XO Escargot w/Milkbread ~ I've only had French Escargot and these are just as good, if not better! Fish Fragrant Eggplant ~ Another savory and very umami dish. Red Bean Shaved Ice ~ Always a refreshing dessert. Dig in for the surprise in the center. We had such a nice, cozy dinner here. Even while at the bar, we never felt for lack of space. They paced the dishes out perfectly, so there was always room to eat and enjoy. Looking forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.

Stopped by Palette Tea House with The Kid after FoodieLand thinking we were just coming for tea... and ended up having a full experience. We sat at the communal high-top table in the center of the restaurant, which has a small pond built into it with little goldfish and even a tiny rubber duck sitting on the rock formation -- such a cute detail and definitely adds to the ambiance. Our server Ken was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the Iron Goddess tea, which ended up being excellent. The Kid ordered the Milk Aroma Oolong, which surprisingly tasted almost like milk tea even though it's just brewed tea. Each tea comes with its own kettle, and Ken even came back to refill the hot water for us. For food, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Fried Rice, which was a huge portion and easily shareable. Very flavorful and well prepared. We also tried the Sichuan Seafood Dumplings and the Iberico Pork Dumplings, both of which were delicious. One order is definitely enough to share. The dumplings come with several dipping sauces including soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil, hot mustard, and a cilantro-based sauce that had a slightly sweet, horseradish-like flavor that really stood out. Service throughout the meal was amazing. Even without a reservation, we were seated immediately. As a Michelin-recognized restaurant for 2025, it definitely felt like a special treat and lived up to the experience.

Shops were starting to open up and we stumbled upon Hon's Wun-Tun House. We originally wanted to go to a different dumpling house but that one was closed at the time. As we peered into Hon's storefront window, we saw employees already busy making dumplings around 9am. We decided to give it a try and we were so happy we did! The servers were quick to seat us, give us water and take our orders using their tablets. We ordered the pan fried dumplings and the scallion pancakes. Everything was delicious! The dumplings had a good amount of filling and were hot and fresh. The scallion pancakes had plenty of scallions which I appreciated. I mean it wouldn't be scallion pancakes without the ample amount of scallions, right?! Lots of customers were having breakfast and I noticed many people ordered congee, so it must be one of their best sellers. Our bellies were satisfied and we were out of there in under 30 minutes. Bill came out to be about $23 after taxes and before tip. This place is great for a group of friends or families to sit down and have a meal while visiting Chinatown. The front of the restaurant has a kiosk to place orders as well (not sure if it's only for take-out orders). It's definitely a restaurant I would go back to when we are in the area again.
