CHEDDAR BACON RANCH FRIES
Treyslyn K.

I had to leave a review for The Melt because my experience was a hands-down 10/10! This was my first time ever eating here, and it definitely won't be my last. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot. I especially recommend the cheddar bacon ranch fries -- I personally got mine without the ranch since I'm not a fan, and they were still a solid 10/10. My other half got his with the ranch, though, and absolutely loved it. If you're into ranch, I'd definitely suggest keeping it on because it pairs really well. The service was great too! Even though they were really packed, I still got my food in a timely manner, which made the experience even better. Overall, The place has a cool, modern industrial look--exposed ceilings, pendant lighting, and long shared tables that give it a laid-back but slightly trendy vibe. Amazing first experience and I'm already looking forward to coming back!

I usually order the patty melt or chicken sandwich with garlic fries, but tonight I wanted a sweet treat. Their hand spun milkshakes are great! Our favorites are the snicker doodle and cookies and cream. The shakes are thick and indulgent.

Delicious!!! Omg! I ordered DoorDash not expecting it to be this good! Holy smokes!! I need and want more!! It's so late so I only ordered grilled cheese sandwich and a soda because us intoxicated people need food before bed. Great sandwich! Fast delivery too!

This place was good! Ordered the chicken sandwich and a side of french fries. The French fries were super good and I loved the seasoning! The chicken sandwich was really spicy and we ordered it just regular. My partner had to order me something else and I got a cheeseburger instead. It was super good! Love having a late night option like this!

Walked here after a concert at August Hall. I would say it's probably about a 10 minute walk which is really inconvenient because it was the closest restaurants open after 11pm. I appreciated the multiple screens to order from because we got to choose what we wanted and place our order right away. I think the sweet potato fries were great. The salad was ok and my avocado bacon sandwich was good. The location itself is more of an eat & go not really dine in. More of a fast food location, but I think overall the food is good and you could take the food to home if you don't finish. The best part is the customizable meals and I'd come back to try other items on their menu for a late night bite

Came here yesterday 03/07/2026 on a busy night in the city right after the Chinese New Year Parade. I must say the workers sure are professional and working fast. The fast food restaurant is being taken care of with love by the workers as they were cleaning and wiping down the tables. Food came out at a significantly decent good time the food tasted like it is freshly made to order. Do try out their milkshakes especially the cookies and cream one and the snickerdoodle one. Can't find no single complaint about this place just come and try it out for yourself if you are nearby.

We went there while casually strolling around the union square area in San Francisco. And omg! Their sandwiches and burgers are absolutely delicious. We went here on a weekend . There was ample sitting space . The place looked very clean and the order didn't take too long . We parked our car in a parking garage before as parking could be an issue in San Francisco as with any other big city. I would highly recommend their steak and cheese . Can't wait to visit the place again

Great spot with fresh tasting burgers that actually open late into the night! Good prices for the amount of food. Lemonades were a bit too syrupy though Would come back again for the burgers

Had to stop by here since I'm craving for good burgers/sandwiches. This place is pretty cool. Has second story seating. There's really no service only calling food out for pick up. Everything is enclosed. Touch screens for ordering. I'll try the other locations. But definitely coming back to eat more of these burgers. It's soo good. Now check out what my party ordered

Stopped in for a quick lunch bite to go. This is a casual sandwich shop. Very minimal decor. White walls, concrete floor and a few tables and chairs. You could enter your order at the kiosk or directly with the cashier. I Ordered a tomato soup which was smooth and creamy and tasty. I also ordered the Italian Job which is a mushroom and cheese sandwich on a spicy garlic bread. Unfortunately the bread wasn't spicy nor garlic. I'd stop by again for the soup alone.

Food was absolutely delicious--juicy burger and perfectly crispy fries. Definitely worth the visit. The only downside was the 30-minute wait, but the quality made up for it. Would come back!

This place is one of my favorite places for Mac n cheese and sandwiches. It's around the corner from the hotel I stay for work. The staff is always so friendly and very helpful. Every time I'm here for business, I come here. The place is pretty chill and they have registers where you can order something yourself as well. I've had many of the sandwiches and burgers, the grilled cheese with meat (there are different types of meat you can put in it) and they are all so delicious. Taste every flavor. My favorite is the regular 3 cheese Mac. I'm pretty simple and it's the best one, in my opinion. I'm from the south so these Mac n cheeses are done right. If you love burgers and Mac n cheese you'll love this place. The desserts are tasty as well. It's a must stop when I come downtown SFO.

It was super tough, and inedible.....I literally took a couple of bites, and had these long pieces of membrane in the chicken that tasted like rubber... In fact, I was quite forlorn having presumed this location of Limon was permanently closed. I liked the way they prepared their pollo à la brasa because the Peruvian-style chicken was consistently succulent. I'm guessing maintaining the quality and profitability of a sit-down restaurant has been economically challenging since this was not the only Limon that has closed. I was encouraged that they kept the space and reinvented it into more of a fast food/takeout operation replete with a cartoon chicken mascot and an animated mural along the northern side of the building. I came by in the middle of a weekday afternoon, so I wasn't ready to eat on the spot. I decided on a takeout order of the $21.95 Half Chicken Pollo à la Brasa with two sides. I think I overdid the starches and went with the Plantains and Yuca Fries. I only noticed afterward that I could've gotten salad or cole slaw instead. When I got home and started to eat, I was immediately disappointed that the chicken tasted overcooked with the breast piece particularly dry. That was too bad because the skin from the rotisserie had the familiar flavorful seasonings. The plantains were tasty albeit a bit oily, while I had to nuke the lukewarm yuca fries to bring them back to life (Photo 9). Next time, I'll time my arrival closer to lunch or dinner, so I can dine in-house. My hope is that the chicken will be closer to the quality level I recall from Limon. It took maybe 20 mins, which was perfect. now, it's show time. holy hell. my boyfriend RAVES about this place all the time, and we finally went as a pre-AYCE snack. it took all my strength to not change my mind to eat here instead. when I think of chicken wings, I think of 3 flavors on the spot: buffalo, lemon pepper, and garlic parm. never, in my big back days, did I think to combine buffalo with garlic-parm (in this case, garlic bacon parm). I couldn't even wrap my head around it before I ate it and while I was eating it. I have to confess that I don't even like buffalo, the tang and that feeling in the back of your mouth that makes you want to drink a full glass of water after? I always hated it. don't get me started on the color/the way it stains EVERYTHING. BUT THIS RIGHT HERE? screw my white shirt, I'll use it as a napkin for these wings. Serg idk who you are but you're my new hero. Plus the spice level? not crazy hot, maybe like hot cheetos level (the regular hot cheetos, but also the flavor is too good to care about the spice) Their ranch is also hella good, and I don't like ranch like that. It also made the experience feel more social -- I ended up chatting with the people to my right and left about the food. Everything we ordered was really good. Their popular dry fried chicken absolutely lived up to the hype and was probably my favorite thing on the menu... besides the cherry pork. I feel like nobody talks about the cherry pork enough! It was SO good -- kind of like a sweet-and-sour pork without the sour. I dipped it in soy sauce because I loved the sweet and salty combo together. The dumplings were also really good. The wrapper was thin and delicious, but my boyfriend said he wished they had a little more protein filling and less leek. The green beans are always a hit. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again was the black bean sauce noodles. Maybe I just expected a different flavor, but to me they honestly tasted like regular lo mein. I'm also not a huge noodle person in general, so I'd probably skip them next time and order something else instead. Forgot to mention their prices are on point! I ordered "The Original" with jasmine chicken rice, extra cilantro, cucumber, chicken skin (love that those are free add-ons), and an egg, and while the bowl was fine, all of the flavors felt like they could've been amped up several notches as everything leaned pretty bland and one note. I even swapped in the ginger scallion sauce, usually my favorite with Hainanese chicken, but it still fell flat and didn't bring the dish together the way I'd hoped. The dark meat was okay, if under-seasoned, but the breast meat was honestly pretty rough as it was extremely dry to the point where I was chasing each bite with water just to get it down. I added the chicken spring rolls as well, which were poorly wrapped and fell apart after a single bite, and they used the same overcooked white meat, making them basically inedible. If this is the standard for their white meat, I really think they should either stick to dark meat or make it clear that dark meat is an option without an upcharge. That said, my order was ready right when I expected it to be, pickup was smooth, and the staff were very nice and friendly, which keeps this from dropping lower in rating as I'm likewise hoping this was just an off night.

Service is somewhat non-existent as you can only order from a kiosk, which I find a bit odd i.e. to not offer counter ordering whatsoever and ambience is very much fast casual. The main get here is the spicy fried chicken sandwich, which delivers a nice mild-to-medium heat balanced against tasty slaw and pickles. The bun strikes just the right thickness (I hate when the bread to filling ratio is way off in either direction) as it is sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart mid-bite. I'd love if they cranked up the spice a notch, but that's obviously specific to the individual. On my latest visit, I also tried the lemon pepper chicken tenders, which were a letdown and would not recommend. They had basically no seasoning (zero lemon pepper flavor but also barely any salt or pepper) and were also a bit over fried. The curly fries and tots are standard issue, nothing fancy but the mango habanero sauce was just weird as it was oddly not sweet or spicy, with an unpleasant vinegar-like consistency that I tried once and never went back for. Overall, it's a reliable stop if you're in the mood for some no frills spicy chicken sando and side spuds.
