Jumbo jack... dang, shrinkflation got them good.
J T.

The food was so skimpy! The burgers are so flat, little and lacking... I thought I only got buns. I got a custom order and they were not labeled, so we needed to open and inspect every item. Be careful if you have food allergies. Just write on the paper wrapper, if stickers aren't available. I get that apps may have better deals, but why it's more expensive at the store than their website? For instance, on the website, tacos are 2 for $.99; at the store, it's 2 for $1.99. I forgot the other store prices, but the website has 2 jumbo jacks for $5 and 2 jr chicken sandos for $3.49. They made my web order in 5 minutes. Prob would've been the same wait time if I ordered at the register.

French Fries

I went tonight at 8:40 and ordered large fries and asked for fresh fries and they mix the old fries with the new fries and put hella salt on them and gave them to me like wtf I paid money to eat good food not fries that been sitting their ! I want my money back for the fries I'll save the fries for u guys because when I call they don't answer worst place to order food and I use to love this place! So sadd

Strawberry Shake

My occasional guilty pleasure at this JIB is their egg rolls, all their breakfast sandwiches, and their shakes. Wait- what?!? With Clement Street a block away with all the Dim Sum takeouts you like their egg rolls?!? That's right. It's deliciously fried. Delicious and consistent. Most of the dim sum places nearby serve egg rolls with cabbage inside only and they tend to be super greasy. While it's piping hot, it's not too greasy here. Their breakfast sandwiches are what you'll expect from a fast food joint. Service is usually efficient and courteous. Not much ambiance as it's a small restaurant and I take almost everything to go when I do visit.

This is a new order. 4 bucks for a half empty box that looks like it fell on the floor

Man this got to be the most inconsistent jack in Crack in the city. The staff always messing up my orders. I always i mean always have to double check my orders. I dont know who manages this place but they are running it into the ground.

Oreo Shake with extra cherries and whipped cream
Cheri L.

Even after all the shakes I've had, my favorite is still the oreo shake from Jack In the Box! The shake is THICC and the Oreo pieces, although blended in, are still in good chunks that give the perfect crunch. Also I am just finding out that you can order extra whipped cream and cherries for free?? As a fast food place you can't really expect anything to be fancy or restaurant level but everything was average clean when I went (both the indoor and outdoor area). Service was very quick, simple but kind.

The Cluck Sandwich. Was free with $1 purchase on National Chicken Sandwich Day. Nom nom

This location is much better than the one in Union Square. Less sketchy, homeless, and you feel actually welcomed here. Not that the other location is at fault because of that. I always order from the app for pick up. The service is stellar here, my food is always hot, especially the fries.

Not to busy tonight , customer limit 5 inside

My review is based on the requirement that you order via the application, because this location tends to have a single person taking both the in person orders, and handing completed order to all of the customers. Unless the location is dead there will always be delays even with a basic online takeout order, and really long waits if you opt to order at the counter. As for the food, it's good, and I have not had huge issues with any order though if you need sauces, ketchup, etc make sure to ask. My last order was a Yummy Munch Meal of their Burger/Grilled Cheese , plus Fries, Tacos, Beverage plus as a Bonus Chocolate Cake, a great deal at $6 if you order after 9pm as I did heading home Sunday night. Parking is not bad, plus great values, rewards and bonus items when you order via the AP.

Salad for 2.99$

Yo the salad fresh af, the tacos are delicious. This is where you come for gourmet when you lit or had some drinking - just make sure you doordash or GrubHub it. Stay safe especially late night :)

Small bites and bargains, shelter in place

I'm sure that the business model wasn't geared for the current conditions. Seeing their TV ad promoting a new menu item, I made a point to make this my second stop after my Wednesday shopping run. Used to come here many mornings fifteen to twenty years ago to grab breakfast sandwiches or an occasional lunch sandwich... of course, those $0.99 tacos, for two mind you, were a requisite add on. My go-to in those days were their breakfast jacks and crispy chicken sandwich, hold the mayo. Well, on this Wednesday afternoon, I couldn't resist ordering a combo meal for their double chili cheeseburger (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=06Bzmbjo2-THQKeZpjXgNg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q); TV makes this look glorious so I was a bit disappointed when I saw my version. It was tasty and certainly filling but it didn't quite meet the expectations I had. I upgraded the fries to a medium curly fries, upgrade (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=SJU7-1gm7l14IeaB5a3Iag&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), which were good but my fault in eating them after they got cold. Of course, I couldn't resist order their two tacos (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Rh0-Y3TxzjhCnbhfFrgN0w&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), now for $1.59. They are a bit on the greasy side but, hey, perfect hangover food. There was a line when I got there with three people ahead of me so do allow for some time when doing walk up orders. They have a clear screened counter for safety so I felt safe at the time. After ordering, given the store size, I decided to wait outside until my number was called. Some people waited inside but I wasn't comfortable doing so. Easy peasy experience but I do recommend eating your food ASAP as the quality suffers when it gets cold. Thank you for providing options though I'm not sure how many late night partygoing customers you'll have under current circumstances.

I prefer the al pastor to the carne asada, it was just so much more tender and flavorful. The fresh food here hits the spot every single time, serving up massive portions that never skimp on flavor, and honestly, it is so much better than La Taqueria down the street. While most people rave about the burritos, the absolute star of the show for me is their amazing quesadilla--perfectly cheesy, packed with high-quality meats, and grilled to absolute perfection. The only real downside to this gritty, no-frills spot is the deplorable bathroom situation, which is definitely best avoided if you can help it. But if you can look past the sketchy restroom, the incredible, affordable food easily beats out the competition nearby and makes it entirely worth the trip. * Tip: This place gets very busy and can have very long lines, especially during the late-night rush, so try to go during off-peak hours or just be prepared to wait a bit for your food! Thanks

Birria Taco: I think a lot of restaurants are starting to understand how birria is made, so I'm noticing that the average quality is going up. While the taste profile of the meat and the consommé are above average for this place, I feel that the birria that I eat is beginning to taste the same. Kudos on the size; some spots skimp on the size. Lengua Super Burrito: I think this is priced very well for a large burrito. I am a fan of their lengua, and I'm also happy to report that I didn't feel cheated with the lengua portion size inside the burrito. I tried their asasda, and it was bad, so I'm very happy that the lengua was very good. Service: You order, you pay, you wait for the food to arrive. Nothing crazy. Ambiance: It's a smaller corner spot, so you really gotta get lucky with the seating. The line can get crazy at certain hours of the day, so it's gonna be hard to sit and stay a while. I'd just eat here and move on.

The orange salsa is probably a mango habanero: spicy with this lovely fruitiness. The green is your classic, done well. And the enchilada sauce is great. The chicken tinga itself was incredible and not overly salty, which so many places get wrong. Rice and beans cooked perfectly, lettuce chopped nice and fine. But the thing that won me over happened before I even ordered: the server brought out a little plate of samples: their mole, some chicken tinga, some birria; just so I could taste around the menu. On a scrubby block of the outer Mission, I used to be here weekly for social skills therapy with my son at KidSpace. So, I was familiar with the parking challenges. Ten minutes later we headed in. Clean, welcoming warm, they invited us to try anything before ordering. We were ready to order the enchiladas divorciadas ($18.49) and breakfast burrito with guacamole ($16.99). We were kindly fussed over by a woman I think was the young owners' mom. She wiped down our table, brought chips and three kinds of salsa and my coffee plus cream and sugar. My son wolfed down the enchiladas with green and red sauces and I saved half of my breakfast burrito for dinner later. My burrito was deliciously filling - and I was super hungry - that's how satisfying it was! The owner told me they make the chorizo sausage in house.
