Panda Express has been a better than other fast food spot for me. Heavy foods, over sweet choices and fast food ambiance. I didn't go but once a year when in a hurry but the last visit may have changed my mind a bit. They have a shrimp that isn't draped in a sugar coating that was quite good. I like that they have added some new choices. Maybe some tasty steamed veggies instead of rice/chow mein would be a good addition. The orange chicken still brings people in but it's nice they have some other selections. Service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. read more

Food server lacked customer service and was rude. he made racial comments for correcting the order. when i had ordered 3 entrees he gave 2 entrees and I had to explain to him that I had ordered Bigger Plate instead of Plate menu. after i asked for 3rd entree. he argued that this was 2 entree order. when i told i had 3 entree, he gave 3rd in the same main box instead of a separate small box. he was angry at me for asking separate box. Went for lunch today at about 11:30 and the fried rice had hard pieces, so either over cooked or sitting too long. They were out of the mushroom chicken and the kung pao had been there a while. After waiting for 10 more minutes as all the service people seemed to be extremely overworked and busy and wouldn't answer questions, I finally got the attention of one person at the counter. I told her my order # and name, she checked and realized that it wasn't even started. She told me now that they just stated the order and should be ready shortly. However, I didn't get my order until after 4:35! I might as well wait in the line and get my food way before the online order goes through. While the food was good, the service was very bad, along with the soda fountain which gave very watered down drinks. I filled a cup with fanta, and when i tasted it all i could taste was sugar and a dab of orange flavor. My dad got a diet coke that he tasted like normal pepsi, and tasted much more sweet than a normal diet coke. As for service, we told somebody that their fountain had a few issues, and they said that we would have to wait in line to tell the employees, instead of just passing our word on to the employees. My husband and I wanted to have a late lunch in Roseburg, Oregon when we were driving back home to San Francisco, California. At first, we were looking for Sizzler, but when we found it, we also saw Panda Express (they just next to each other) then we decided to go there. Just like another Panda Express, they had a lot of customers and also had a quick service. I noticed that the restaurant was recently open, with the new building and outdoor seating area. We prefer to had lunch inside of the restaurant since it was more than 90 degrees outside. The restroom was clean and spacious. We ordered, ate and left with a full stomach, and ready to continue our trip back home. read more

Sent my sister to pick up dinner. We didn't notice until she arrived home that the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken was completely burnt. The noodles were dried out and old. She said that a couple came in behind her and asked for an entree and were told it was too close to closing and they were out. It was 1 1/2 hours until closing time. They insisted on having it made for them. I don't think Panda corporate would be at all happy about how it was being managed tonight.I know I'm not. This used to be good, but now you get whatever is being scraped from the bottom of the pots, and they are out of stuff all the time. They put together food from parts of this and that. The Walnut Chicken is slimy and gummy. It used to great. I will not frequent this place again. Be warned - it has become a Roseburg Panda Express, and that is not a compliment. read more

We stopped here for an early lunch while traveling through. The employees were working very hard to accommodate the early lunch crowd. Despite the fast pace, the we were greeted and communicated with (e.g. "I'll be with you in a moment" rather than the silent treatment of non-acknowldegement). My only disappointment was that the string beans with chicken would have been a 10 minute wait. Instead i had the mushroom chicken. My partner had the teriyaki chicken and the orange chicken. The chicken was cooked, but not over-cooked, so still moist. We were given extra condiments on request and not the stingy "here is one" instead we were asked how many we would like. This PE was really good. We happened to get there at a busy time and there is only one line so we were in line for about 15 mins before we got to the counter. After that things went much quicker. The young woman who greeted us was very efficient and quick. And, even though it was busy the first thing she asked was if we wanted to sample anything. Then the food was plentiful and well stocked and they were very good at knowing when to ask for more. We sat down to eat and the food was delish. Terrible service. Terrible attitudes in the service staff. They literally lost our order and made us feel like jerks for having the balls to complain. They ran out of teriyaki chicken TWICE while we waited, so obviously their planning skills are not great. We finally got an order after 45 minutes of about half what we ordered but we were too angry and frustrated to fight any more. The order was missing literally half of what we ordered. Ii love Panda Express! I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 5. There was a line out the door and the chefs were all crazy busy. There was an employee running the drive up and cash register very efficiently and the single employee serving up the line was fast, pleasant, and very efficient. She kept the line moving while being very professional. I gave 4 stars because the restroom could have used a hook for a purse or coat. Also, the second garbage in the eating area was overflowing, but this could be because everyone was too busy to tend to it. The food was outstanding! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Panda. I had never eaten at a Panda Express before, so I don't have others to compare it to, but as a standalone experience, it keeps me coming back. Seriously, if I could eat the Beijing Beef and Orange Chicken every day, it would take a really long time to get tired of it. The employees so far have been very friendly, and I even met with the head manager, who was equally pleasant to talk to. Good service always makes it easy to get returning customers, especially when your food is good, and Panda Express knows this well. If you want good Chinese fast food faster than Bruce lee can kick you in the face, come to Panda. You'll be finishing your first serving of Orange chicken before he finishes his roundhouse. I want to say how amazing the Roseburg Oregon Panda Express is. I went to get takeout food last Friday (9/17/2021) the staff were extremely busy with a line that wrapped around the store and a huge stack of online orders. I was not in a hurry so I didn't have any problem waiting, but what I saw as I waited amazed me. The cooks were making food as fast as they could, and they never left the front line staff waiting for anything. The front line staff were working together like a machine. They were making online orders and in store customer orders all at the same time and were doing it very quickly and efficiently. There was a long wait, but it had nothing to do with the staffing, but instead with the amount of people that obviously love Panda Express. The staff was all very friendly despite the stress they must have been feeling. I will return to this location often, because the service was amazing and so was the food. read more

Had to watch the chatty cashier talk with everyone about their hair and t-shirts. (Hey chatty Kathy your behind, focus, get caught up and then make small talk). Waited 10 mins before an employee even acknowledged me or asked my name. Girl doing floor duties went and checked, did some other tasks came back to tell me they were waiting on my mushroom chicken. Didn't offer me something else, didn't do anything about it. Oh wait she wanted to know if I wanted my drink while I waited. Watched the manager who had been siting doing some type of employee meeting on the floor less than five feet from where I had been waiting impatiently at this point, jump right up and get a friend or family member some complementary egg rolls or something, walked right bye me, with no acknowledgment, never checking in with other employees.
