Visited 7/19/2017 Ive been wanting to try the sonic drive-in food for sometime. Tonight I sampled a few items. First Their handmade onion rings were very good. 3 1/2 Stars. Next their version of a Chicago dog. Quite tasty also not quite as good as the real Chicago dog it was lacking The bright green relish. 3 Stars. And a large pineapple milkshake. 4 1/2 Stars. For A fast food establishment they have quite a selection to choose from. The service was friendly and the food was just plain good and priced reasonably compared to other fast food places I'm looking forward to trying another place down in San Diego just to see how they compare. Was there today AFTER happy hour started. And didn't see my happy hour discount on the screen. My sister and I get the same thing every week. I brought it up to the girl working (Karena) and she was very disrespectful. I asked her to see if the manager could fix it on there and she said it's out of her control. They are misleading people in there prices there , when a cheesecake milkshake said $6.29 on there drive thru board and then once you get to the pay area they $7.19 , when it clearly states it on the drive thru menu $6.29 & online it states $6.49 . I have been there 3 times in the last 30 days. Each time they lost my order. This was through the drive-thru as well as the drive-in. In addition the service is very slow. One time I had to leave because I had been there for 30 min and then found out they lost my order and didn't know what space I was in. Second try on their APP, second failure. First time I checked in and waited, they never came out. I called, they didn't realize they had an order. Second time, I ordered for Half off drinks. I sent my husband to pick up and it would not let me check in. I called them and spelled my name twice before she could find my order. In the meantime, he is at the window and the one helping him could not find the order. He ordered again and they charged him again, full price! I called back to say I already paid she says she canceled my order. I said I just lost $6 over this ordeal, all I got is "I'm sorry", I said no compensation for what we were charged, she only offered to make my order again and charge me the lower price again, that makes no sense! read more

Went through the drive thru, specifically asked for fry sauce for the tots I ordered and also mentioned napkins to make sure we would get some. Idk who's in charge at that place but they need to get their little teenie bobbers in order. Does anyone that works there actually give two shits about the quality of their products going out or even care that the customers are actually getting what they ordered? In the last two weeks I've came thru the drive thru to get a coke with real lime wedges and the first time was told they had none just to find out later they had them they just didn't want to cut any up ‍ second time I asked real lime wedges and was acknowledged that I wanted real lime wedges by the order taker and guess what? No god damn lime wedges! Had to go to the window and ask if I could have the lime wedges I asked for and Low and behold the had them but they just didn't give a shit that I ordered them! Come on managers hold these kids accountable for their lack of customer service and just plain laziness! read more

There service is horrible we waited 30 minutes to get ice cream. People who ordered hot food after us got it before us. It said our ice cream was on the way we never got it, then when we pushed the button again they said it would be right out with it and we waited another 5 minutes again. My family loves Sonic. The cooks are usually great at getting orders right, but occasionally slip up. They make it up every time however and are so friendly. I also get great deals on my phone from time to time. The real fruit slushes and peanut butter fudge shakes are amazing. read more

Called back inside and was told they would make a replacement. Waited another 15 minutes and called a third time to actually get a semi-cold burger. Barely got an apology. This is one of the poorest meals we have had. Delivery was fast but the food was low quality. The hot dogs were smaller than the .99 variety you buy at the store and the burger was 1/2 the size advertised on T.V. and poorly constructed. Kids seemed to enjoy the drinks. read more

i worked there for a month. wow it was literally the worst restaurant i ever worked at. i couldn't get the place clean if it was to save my life. On April 30th at 3:07 pm I went through the drive through and ordered my food and was cut off from ordering my last item so when I got up to the window I told them that I wasn't done ordering and would like to order popcorn chicken to my order. My order numbers were 362 and 363. I paid 32.94 for the first order and 5.59 for the second order. When I got home we all got our food and our food was old you could tell by the taste and cold! Chicken and hot dogs!! I tried calling back and the phone just rang and rang and rang until it hung up. I proceeded to call again and the same thing happened. They wouldn't answer and just let it ring until it hung up. This was on a Friday so the next day I called again and the phone was busy, ALL DAY LONG! I kept trying to call and finally got ahold of Anthony on Sunday and told him what had happened. He took my name, number and the receipt number and asked what I wanted to do so I said I want my money back. He then said he would give it to his supervisor to call me. I waited a couple more days and called again since NOBODY called me back. I then talked to Terry who again, took my name, number and receipt number and said he would make sure it got to a supervisor. AGAIN, NO CALL!! I am beyond disgusted with the food and there's No customer service. I want my money back and believe me, I will NEVER order from them again! If I could give them less than one star I would!! I will tell all my friends and family to avoid this place because it was horrible. read more

so, this place has been here for years and i just realized ive never eatin there. so i was like hell why not, lets go. me and my friend get there about 8:50 pm... i ordered a double bacon with chee... we tell them our orders will be seperate. so i tell him my order, and then had to repeat it 3 more times cuz he kept reading back the wrong thing.. then my friend orders a milkshake, soda, and a order of popcorn chicken. now let me tell you, how busy they were... there was us two...and 5 other people. so they werent busy at all. we sat and waited for our pretty small order for a good 25 minutes at least. then we finally got them and the not so bright employee was trying to charge my friend $16... for two drinks and a normal size popcorn chicken?!?! i got twice as much and mine was 7.99!!! so after we sort this out i ask for some fry sauce and honey mustard. the employee replies... ok ranch and fry sauce..i said noooo.. honey mustard...he brings me my sauce and we drive home i get to the house..literally 3 blocks away.. and my fries were cold and soggy (like the texture you get when you warm up cold fries in the microwave) that sucked! and my burger was smashed, also very cold, and soggy... it was terrible really. everything about this place was terrible. service, employees, food, the wait.. and to top it all off.. HE STILL GAVE ME RANCH INSTEAD OF HONEY MUSTARD!!! maybe it was just a bad staff night? ive heard theyre pretty good... but ill never get food there again. ill stick to milkshakes!!! read more
