Crispy bacon burger with subbed broccoli.
    Ilka P.

When we visit, our nephews love coming here. My burger was good, flavorful and satisfying. I had steamed broccoli instead of fries- and it was a good amount and not mushy. Service was friendly and attentive. It's a good family place. I cannot fault it at all. It's just not generally our kind of place- the cafeteria style- , but everyone was happy with the food and the experience.

3.5/5 stars This was the first time we've been to a Sizzler in years-way before the pandemic. We saw it during dinner time and decided to give it a shot. First-they have entreé baskets with fried calamari, fried shrimp, or a mix of each or steakhouse potato skins, for $5.49. Second-they have a soup bar for people who only want soup. And last-is the prices went up...like most everywhere else. This does effect the value based on quality per price. I had the salad bar and the hubs got a ribeye. The ribeye was large but not thick. The flavor was good but it had a lot of fat and gristle. The baked was good. The salad bar looked very much the same. I had small portions of soups to taste...clam chowder-had funny flavor and chicken noodle-mushy noodles. Neither would I do again. They had chicken winglets, taquitos, chips & salsa/yellow queso, Mac & Cheese and some fried filled items that I didn't try. Signs would really help people know what was inside fried items and, especially to identify the salad dressings. They still have the soft serve ice cream and toppings. The soft serve was good. There was fruit on the salad bar-pineapple and melon. There was also an Oreo crumbled in pudding or whipped topping dessert that I'm sure is popular. I know I'm in a minority because I can't do the texture of Oreos and mixed would be worse. Service was good. The gentleman that helped us order was nice and so helpful and our server was really good, too. The food just underwhelmed. I know it's hard for restaurants to get products and others seemed to enjoy the food but the value wasn't there for me. I didn't eat enough to make the salad bar pay off and the steak had too much waste.

Both our Servicemen returned home for the Holidays and they arrived on the same day. They both wanted Sizzler, so off we go. We chose this location as it was closer to their home and once again I was caught off by the menu system as I only see it here, but it is efficient. The staff is annoyingly pleasant and helpful with a good sense of humor. They took our order and gave us our drinks, then off we go to find a table. I still get that nostalgic 'high school cafeteria' feel from it, but this is a casual good food environment. There is still some table service and refills were brought as requested. Everyone was happy with the food and service. There were six of us in this group. I had a cup of clam chowder and found it to be very creamy and smooth, rich in potato but a bit lacking in clam. No bacon or pepper had been added, but the flavor gave me pause..... what is that flavor? Almost sweet..? Maybe like a mild hint of coconut..? One of our group commented that it might be from actual cream. Funny, it wasn't bad, just mysterious and by the time I finished tasting it, it was gone. -had to laugh at myself over that one. It also turns out I ordered the same burger as I did last time, the Smokey Bacon Burger that comes with crispy fried onion in it. Combined with the smoky barbecue and that flame grilled taste, this is a winner! Good food, good staff, family reunion, good times!

Excellent service, food was great. Highly recommend this Sizzler. I ordered the steak and Malibu chicken and it was delicious as usual. Restaurant is clean and employees very friendly.

"Grab the Reins and Head to Rodeo: This Place is a Triple Crown Winner!"…read more I was in town on business, and this was a surprise! If you're looking for a spot that feels like a warm hug from the Wild West, Rodeo Steak House is it. Here are three reasons why this place is officially my new favorite watering hole: * The Atmosphere: The decor is spot-on--think rustic wood, rich leather, and just enough horse-themed accents to make it feel authentic without being cheesy. It's got a great vibe that's matched perfectly by the staff. Our servers were "good ol' gals" who were perky, fun, and made us feel like regulars from the moment we walked in. * The Food (Better than the Pictures!): Usually, menu photos look better than the plate, but here, it's the opposite! The food looked incredible and tasted even better. Pro tip: Get the Chicken Fried Steak. It's the real deal. * Legendary Hospitality: The service blew me away. I ordered a fresh-pressed orange juice, and my waitress told me she actually pressed it herself! That level of effort and genuine country hospitality is rare. You can really tell they care about the "home-cooked" feel.

But I was quickly greeted and brought to a booth, which I appreciated. I am not a fan of sitting at the bar. Not sure they have one here. I ordered a large Black Butte Porter, 9 ounce filet rice pilaf and a salad with balsamic vinaigrette. A roll with butter arrived shortly after my beer. Salad next was fresh and very complex, with a generous topping of diced bacon. The steak arrived - the moment of truth... and was AMAZING! Perfectly cooked and seasoned, tender and delicious. This dinner was so good, I ordered dessert to go: chocolate cake and ice cream. That cake - Wow! Thin layers of cake with frosting in between, a delightful end to a glorious meal.

We called to make reservations last minute and they were able to squeeze us in at 8:00 PM. We arrived at 7:45 and were promptly seated by the hostess. We previewed the menu and knew we would get the Fried Calamari for sure! We ended up ordering that to share and an order of Brussels sprouts for me! We each ordered the TKB Burger - 2 with sidewinder fries and one with Pomme Frites. Our server was amazing - super attentive and knowledgeable. My son was impressed that she took our order without writing it down. Hahaha. We got the Fried Calamari and it was AMAAAAAAAZING. The aioli was delicious also. The Brussels sprouts were good, but a little more cooked (and soft) than I normally like. An added bonus was the candied walnuts - I haven't had that before! The burgers came out and the sidewinder fries were not the curly fries we were thinking, so my so traded me. The Pomme Frites were perfectly cooked!! I meant to order my burger with a lettuce wrap, but I forgot. The brioche buns were delicious. The burgers were a little messy, but tasty. My daughter and I cut ours to make them more manageable but my son didn't and his cheese basically ran right off the burger. He didn't mind because he doesn't normally order cheese anyway. We were all stuffed so we didn't even order any dessert. The restaurant was buzzing and it gave off a very nice vibe. We probably won't be back. The pricing was a little out of our normal dinner range, but it was a special occasion. Aside from the fried calamari, we weren't really impressed with the food. Our server was amazing, though!!

Typically when I try an establishments breakfast for the first time it's always biscuits and gravy. By far my favorite breakfast ever. If they prepare this dish well that tells me it's okay to be more adventurous. Well the Lilly nailed it today. The biscuits and gravy is everything that it should be. Authentic and not artsy fartcy. Just good old school down home biscuits and gravy and that is what I received today. The dish was flavorful and the biscuits are spot on. The sausage patty was of very good quality and very flavorful as well. The Spanish Coffee was very nice prepared and the presentation was excellent. Once again the Jersey Lilly has knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend that you try this establishment.

I really wanted to like this place because it's the one fairly fancy place in town...but, it was a disappointing experience. We got to the restaurant for our 10am reservation but the door didn't open until exactly 10. People huddled under the porch because it was raining fairly hard. We were shown inside, then back outside to another room to our table. We ordered and they said the buffet was in the tent-outside. So, coat & rain hood back on to go to the buffet. Unfortunately, the buffet wasn't ready so we went back to our seats. The buffet wasn't ready for around 20 minutes-because some of the kitchen crew called in sick so they were operating with less help. The remaining crew was working hard to get it set up. So they were doing a good job-they just needed more help. The buffet had: Eggs, Potatoes, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, Jalapeño Cheddar Bagels, Smoked Salmon, Salad, Dressing, Potato Dill Soup, an Omelet bar and Prime Rib. Unfortunately, most of the food we got wasn't warm. I think the top of the chafing dishes were able to cool off, even though, the bottom was hot. Didn't know that until going back in. Thats a dangerous situation where bacteria can grow. The bread was excellent. It was a chewy Italian bread. The butter balls were firm so hard to spread. There were bagels and smoked salmon but it would have been nice to have something other than just jalapeño cheddar bagels for the smoked salmon. Maybe, get something more neutral in flavor that more people would eat. I think I have fairly normal tastes and love biscuits & gravy but the biscuits and gravy had an odd flavor to me. I wasn't a fan but that may be a preference. The prime rib was ok but not terribly tasty. The Potato dill soup was just ok, too. The omelet bar probably was the safe choice since you pick your ingredients but I make those often at home so I wanted to try other things. I think they are trying to be fancy instead of just making good food that everybody would like. Service was good. We did have to wait for coffee but overall they were nice and did a good job letting people know when the buffet was ready. Overall: Ambiance is 5/5; Service 4/5, Food-the temperature, late food and having to walk in the rain to the tent and back with a plate of food while getting rained on drops the overall score to 3/5. Opening that heavy door with a plate of food is a problem, too. Maybe have the tent right outside the entrance to the main dining room so your customers and their full plates don't have to be out in the rain. There has to be a better way.

I asked how spicy they were, and she said that they could go mild with the Cajun spice. It also came with a peppercorn ranch. I also ordered the Aztec salad. Romaine, corn & black bean salsa, avocado, tortilla strips, cheddar cheese, tomato, jalapeño, cilantro, onion, chipotle dressing (I asked them to leave off the jalapeño...). She asked me if I wanted to add chicken, and I said yes. I added grilled chicken The food comes, the salad is very decent sized, and the order of tater tots was massive. The salad was a bit on the spicy side. That's on me, because I didn't read the menu very well, and I didn't realize that it had the chipotle dressing. My lips were definitely tingling a little bit. It was toward the high end of what I like for spice, but it was still very good. The chicken was tender and flavorful, with just a tiny bit of a char on it. It definitely added to the flavor. The tots were excellent. I'm glad I had her go light on the Cajun spice, cause even with light spice, again it was a bit spicy. Within what I like for spicy, but I definitely noticed it. The ranch helped calm the spice a bit I had enough tots left over to bring back to my room for breakfast. Prices are a little bit on the high end, but for what I got, quantity and quality, reasonable. Plus, the advantage that Oregon does not have sales tax. They also offer a military/veterans discount. I would stop here again the next time I'm passing through. Thank you!
