Great overall experience. The food was delicious. The gentleman preparing the food was kind and courteous.

I'm shocked by this place in the worst way. I walked in and immediately smelled propane. It was bad. There were 4 other customers behind me, and there were two employees who were incredibly young and incredibly confused. I ordered my food, and I waited at least 6 minutes while breathing in the propane and watching nobody be helped and nobody start my food. I just said "don't worry about it. Also, it smells like propane in here." And left. So, I didn't even get my food. Idk how much longer I would have had to wait in order to have gotten my food. They just didn't care. I know that 6 minutes isn't that long, but they literally weren't doing anything else...they weren't even helping the customers behind me. read more

This place needs some serious help. My boyfriend and I walked in for dinner about a two weeks prior because Panda Express was slammed and pita was pretty empty. We were turned away about an hour before closing by a young man who said he wasn't taking orders anymore even though the restaurant was pretty empty there was only like one other costumer in line. We decided to give it a second chance today and this time we weren't greeted at all when we walked in. When we finally got to placing an order it took about 25 to 30 minutes and that wasn't even the worst part because the employees spent that whole time airing a BUNCH or dirty laundry about some illegal and inappropriate interactions between underage staff and older staff, stolen stuff from the fridge and a bunch of firings that had just happened. They talked about it in uncomfortable and excruciating detail.. often pausing the food making process to gossip. We left as soon as we got our food there was no apology about the wait time or even a symbols response when I said "have a nice day" as I was eating my food I'm the car I noticed she got my very simple custom order very wrong by like 4 Ingredients and I pulled one of the cooks very long hairs out of my wrap. Me again: Staff and food are awesome! Owner? Not so much, make that not at all! Zero staff support. No soda machine for a couple of years now. No soda cooler for over a year. Iced tea dispenser for more than a year out of service. Payment scanner has not worked properly for seven years and this dummy refuses to replace it. So if you want to you pay using the app, good luck flip a coin as to whether it's gonna work or not. It's really sad and pathetic because the staff is very nice. The food is really good, though some of the portions appear to have been diminished or you get less now. I apologize, but the staff does their best. They really do despite management. You have to wonder why they don't take the ice tea maker and put it in the back somewhere rather than just leave it out there on the counter with a sign on it. Was in store to order, when an employee, who was leaving, told us that Tasha was the only one working at the moment. Not a problem for us to wait as she finished with three other orders. Watching her, we noticed that she did not get annoyed, frazzled, upset, or anything negative. When she finished with them and came to us, she was so apologetic about the wait. She cleaned the whole area, washed her hands, did a little restocking and then took our order. Completely professional with suggesting different items, be it a pita, a bowl, or salad. Stopped in on my way through town in business. This place has always been a joy. Not sure what has happened since my last visit. Not sure where to start. I was 10th person in line who was paid and waiting for their food. This was on a Monday and about 12:35 mid lunch rush. The attention to get people moved out was not a priority. At one point the gal filling vegies into pita had to sneeze so she did into her hands and arm and started back to her pita. I would have walked out at this point if i had not paid. I adked her to put new gloves on she took nearly 4 minutes to do so. Washing her hands and waiting for them to dry. All along 3 or 4 people behind me waiting. Store manager was a young girl who didnt have an ounce of concern to get orders out as she actually distracted them by discussing her weekend. I could keep going but after waiting 35 minutes from time I walked in and out not much lunch time left. Quality of food was not good either as they let meat sit on stove top and burn on one side and while they had extra meat that was due my sandwich she refused to put it all on my sandwich just scraped it into grease channel. With gloves on she opened the cooler door took out a container and scooped out a hand full of peppers and refilled then put the lid back on opened the cooler door and took out another container opened it up scooped out tomatoes with the same gloves on. Closed that container opened the cooler door and pull out another container opened it and with the same gloves of touching everything and pepper, tomatoes juice gloves scooped out shredded cheese! I have to start by saying that I love the food at Pita pit. The one star for today was for two reasons. When we walked in there were three employees just chilling and chatting by the register. They acted like we were putting them out by ordering food. My biggest issue though is that there was food debris all over the dining room. Every single table was dirty. My partner and I had to wipe our table and our chairs. It would have taken five minutes to sweep and wipe down the dining room, but apparently there is zero standard from management about what a clean restaurant should look like. I love the Roseburg Pita Pita! Their food is always fresh and delicious and the best part is, its way healthier than so many quick eating options in town. They even offer to heat vegan options like falafel on their vegan grill so it's not contaminated by being on the same grill as a bunch of meat. They let you taste their sauces before you commit to putting them on your pita. I ordered 7 pitas and was dissatisfied with just one and the owner was super understanding and offered me a free pita on my next visit. I have eaten at many pita pit locations, it's a good alternative to typical fast food. I am giving them a low rating because I recently got two pitas for lunch and was totally grossed out. The lettuce tasted gritty and when we both looked into our pita not only was the lettuce dirty but there were dead nats in it. So gross! I complained to the store and they did give me my money back, which was nice, but it didn't take away the fact that I ate dirty food. I would not eat here again. read more
