Had the bagels with lox and cream cheese, etc. The quality of the cream cheese was terrible. The lox were subpar. The staff doesn't pay attention to orders, and with no one else in there at the time it took way too long to get our bagel. Way overpriced. The food is great, the employees are nice but yall need to invest in a ticketing system. There's no reason these employees should have to personally remember every single order and it causes mistakes. Support your employees by getting a simple system to record what people order so you don't have to ask customers 4x what cheese they got or have a deliberation on what was purchased at the register. The staff is extremely friendly and the locals obviously love this place because they were very chatty with the two ladies who were working here. We ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast bagel, a cinnamon roll, a brownie, a large americano and a large soy chai and the grand total was... $21.15! The Bagel Tree has become a regular favorite in our family. It does get very busy (and crowded!) and I have shied away from calling orders in (seems easier to order in person)...but these bagels are the best I've had since living on the east coast. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich on a Jalapeño and cheddar bagel...and their brownie cookie is a chewy-chocolatey bit of goodness...you should try one. So The Bagel Tree Cafe was hoppin when we got there but the girls worked super fast and got us taken care of quickly. I got a lox sandwich sans onion, but I used the special for the week, the bacon jalapeño cheddar bagel, and jalapeño cream cheese. Jon got the lox with a jalapeño cheddar bagel and salmon cream cheese. Let me just start off by saying that the amount of salmon they put on that bagel made it worth the price alone. It was piled high. If we had gone to Food 4 Leas and gotten a package of salmon to make bagels for $8, THIS WAS STILL ABOUT TWICE AS MUCH SALMON YALL! I could taste the salmon, jalapeños, cheddar, bacon, capers, and tomato in every single bite. They had a ton of other stuff to purchase- drinks, cake slices, and so many other tasty treats. I even spotted a "bagel and gravy" which looked interesting. The service was quick and super friendly, and they even wrapped up some pickle slices for us to take with!
