Ordered tempura battered jalapeño poppers stuffed with crab and cream cheese and brisket Pho. Both were delicious and would order again. The Pho broth was clean and flavorful. I am up visiting my daughter again and brought my Japanese friend, so I thought this would be the perfect place to eat!! Daisy was a great server again. Super friendly and helpful. I decided to deviate from the phở this time and chose the vermicelli with steak and pork. My friend ordered the phở with steak and brisket. Daisy convinced us to get some sushi too, so we ordered a shrimp and crab roll. I enjoyed my noodle bowl, but I did find it a bit too oily at the end. I think they may have dumped the fried meat in with all the oil too. Otherwise it was tasty with the added pickled carrots and daikon. If we come back again, I'll go back to getting the phở. My friend enjoyed her phở. She reported that the broth was tasty. I'm not a big sushi eater, but the roll was good. Nothing that blew away my taste buds. 4.5/5 I wanted to do an update because I've been here enough to try different things We've had appetizers, sushi, a roll, sashimi, noodles and the pho. All have been some of the best in town. I am cautious about trying pho in a new place so asked the server many questions. I ordered it and was very happy. The flavors were balanced well and the broth had a silky texture. It's a definite reorder. Though, the house lo mein is so outstanding it's hard to order anything else. It is a 6 star rating! There is a good amount of meat plus, perfect noodles and sauce!! Service is 5 stars. They are wonderfully kind and so knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. This is a fantastic place to try when you're in Roseburg!! First of all, customer service is always great here. Very friendly staff and attentive. We usually always love everything we have had. However, tonight it was not that good. First off the volcano roll was under cooked. The breading on the outside of the calamari was soft, very light colored, soggy and noticeably not cooked long enough. The inside painted the story and was not edible. We threw this whole roll out. Lastly, our miso soup was odd. It was flowery and sweet. Not the usual flavor and we also threw it out. We ended up sharing half our order and swinging by fast food to fill us up. Hopefully this was a fluke because throwing out our dinner was very disappointing. read more

It's beens 2 years since i went here. They had only just opened and I was disappointed. I finally went back with my wife and another couple and we all loved it. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. We had eggs rolls, tempura shrimp and a couple of different sushi rolls. All of the food was excellent. I am definitely going back for more. We live at edge of OC's Little Saigon, with Vietnamese restaurants second only to Vietnam. King Pho was right in with the best. Perfect broth, meats, noodles, garnish. This was my first experience at King Pho and Sushi and I have to say it was really excellent. I had a Vermicelli Bowl with grilled beef and shrimp that was so tasty! I have been there 5 times including their second day open. Everything is fresh and the place is clean and newly remodeled. Service is a little off by American standards, but having been a regular at a bunch of other Pho' shops in other places, it's about what I expect. Pho' broth is not as deep as what I've had, still very good. Sushi had some great surprises for us. It's really good, several innovative things like the Potato Roll. My new favorite is the Fuji Volcano Roll, in a bowl topped with perfectly cooked (not easy to do) and battered squid. . O my my second time here and was looking forward to it!! Unfortunately!!... Served day old rice that was cold in the middle didn't even put it in the microwave long enough or mash the rice clumps so they could break up and be warmed all the way through. They didn't care one bit about my dish being hot on top and cod in the middle of the rice. The flavor was good just lacked pride in preparation. I won't be returning any time soon but they are the only sushi place in town that I know of. read more

I said yes to the question, would I recommend this restaurant. I personally feel like they use way too much rice on the rolls that have an outer coating of rice. I only order out, so I cannot speak to the service and or ambience. Well, they did it and they did it BIG. Real Pho, real meat and plenty of them . They call it "Complete Pho" and it is that. Raw steak that cooks in the broth, meatballs, tripe, tendon and connective meat which all add to flavor and consistencies. And, it's very very good. Went in about 7pm on a Friday night. The place was pretty packed but we were seated right away. The service was attentive. The decor seemed a little mismatched and lackluster. Definitely feels like they need some sprucing in that area. Now onto the food: the pho was amazing! The broth was very flavorful and the brisket was pretty tender. The sushi was just okay. Tiny portion sizes, you literally get double the amount at other pho places. Waitress was really dismissive initially and didn't want to serve me (I have no clue why). Then, when it came time to pay they refused to provide me a CC receipt (not their invoice but the receipt that shows total amount, tip line, etc w/your CC. I grew up in Las Vegas and pho was one of my comfort foods. My partner and I get Pho every time we travel and I am so glad there is a place in Roseburg now! I went in on my lunch break during work this week and the service was quick, kind, and efficient. The pho was delicious, and a little on the sweet side, and the meat was good quality. What a nice new choice for Roseburg! Our book club met there and we were pleased with the experience. The food was great: sushi in generous portions, pho of all sorts, and tempura among other things. The service was fine: attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere didn't actually scream Asia, but it was very clean, and well lit: bright but not glaring. It was busy but not crowded.
