I am up visiting my daughter again and brought my Japanese friend, so I thought this would be the perfect place to eat!! Daisy was a great server again. Super friendly and helpful. I decided to deviate from the phở this time and chose the vermicelli with steak and pork. My friend ordered the phở with steak and brisket. Daisy convinced us to get some sushi too, so we ordered a shrimp and crab roll. I enjoyed my noodle bowl, but I did find it a bit too oily at the end. I think they may have dumped the fried meat in with all the oil too. Otherwise it was tasty with the added pickled carrots and daikon. If we come back again, I'll go back to getting the phở. My friend enjoyed her phở. She reported that the broth was tasty. I'm not a big sushi eater, but the roll was good. Nothing that blew away my taste buds. The restaurant was busier this time (Friday night), so that's great for them! read more

4.5/5 I wanted to do an update because I've been here enough to try different things We've had appetizers, sushi, a roll, sashimi, noodles and the pho. All have been some of the best in town. I am cautious about trying pho in a new place so asked the server many questions. I ordered it and was very happy. The flavors were balanced well and the broth had a silky texture. It's a definite reorder. Though, the house lo mein is so outstanding it's hard to order anything else. It is a 6 star rating! There is a good amount of meat plus, perfect noodles and sauce!! Service is 5 stars. They are wonderfully kind and so knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. This is a fantastic place to try when you're in Roseburg!! The only negative is the ambiance isn't much. It's plain and not warm looking. Everyone is so nice that you feel happy you're there. read more

It's beens 2 years since i went here. They had only just opened and I was disappointed. I finally went back with my wife and another couple and we all loved it. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. We had eggs rolls, tempura shrimp and a couple of different sushi rolls. All of the food was excellent. I am definitely going back for more. I love good sushi and haven't found any I like until tonight. Sushi and Rolls is take out only and I liked to eat in, This place is my new go to place for sushi. read more

First of all, customer service is always great here. Very friendly staff and attentive. We usually always love everything we have had. However, tonight it was not that good. First off the volcano roll was under cooked. The breading on the outside of the calamari was soft, very light colored, soggy and noticeably not cooked long enough. The inside painted the story and was not edible. We threw this whole roll out. Lastly, our miso soup was odd. It was flowery and sweet. Not the usual flavor and we also threw it out. We ended up sharing half our order and swinging by fast food to fill us up. Hopefully this was a fluke because throwing out our dinner was very disappointing. read more

Have been looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in Roseburg for some time. Tried this place while there for business. Ordered tempura battered jalapeño poppers stuffed with crab and cream cheese and brisket Pho. Both were delicious and would order again. The Pho broth was clean and flavorful. Poppers were tasty and not too hot. Service was good, and order was out quickly. Place was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. read more

If you like Pho this is the place. Be warned that you will be taking home a pint. The bowls are huge. Good choices and very plentiful. Prices are as you'd expect anywhere. The sushi that I've had there has always been very good, very fresh. I highly recommend if you're in Oregon's Bay Area. read more

Family and I went here today. Rough looking building. I was a little incredulous. Turned around quickly smelling their pho. We ordered pho and sushi as you would. Had a volcano roll. Pho was great really good. Sushi was solid. Our son says it the best he's ever had. I only tried the volcano roll but it was good. Check em out read more

Try it you will like it. As is with most all Vietnamese food ..you spice as much or little however you like. The Pho is delicious. The best in town. read more

Food is amazing, and the service is super kind! I love the night roll. always worth the price and always looking forward to going again

The food here is amazing and the service is good! Can't really anything else like this in Roseburg.

I have been there 5 times including their second day open. Everything is fresh and the place is clean and newly remodeled. Service is a little off by American standards, but having been a regular at a bunch of other Pho' shops in other places, it's about what I expect. Pho' broth is not as deep as what I've had, still very good. Sushi had some great surprises for us. It's really good, several innovative things like the Potato Roll. My new favorite is the Fuji Volcano Roll, in a bowl topped with perfectly cooked (not easy to do) and battered squid. . Took out three FUSSY grandchildren there and they couldn't find anything not to like. read more

Weekday about 5pm, not at all busy. Pho bowls, only in large, from $15 to $17. We split House Special (brisket, sliced beef, meatball, shrimp), $16. We live at edge of OC's Little Saigon, with Vietnamese restaurants second only to Vietnam. King Pho was right in with the best. Perfect broth, meats, noodles, garnish. My wife, a huge fan of sushi, also had the Salmon Roll, which was excellent. Bare bones room and tables. Obligatory grandpa at table in corner. Good service, clean restrooms, good parking. read more

Great service and food @ King Pho & Sushi ! Customer service was top-notch! Friendly atmosphere, seemed more lively as well, compared to the last time we dined. Drinks and Edamame starter came quick and our entrees were tasty. I appreciated their timely service throughout our dining experience. We were never waiting for anything and were able to receive the bill and to-go boxes promptly. read more

This was my first experience at King Pho and Sushi and I have to say it was really excellent. I had a Vermicelli Bowl with grilled beef and shrimp that was so tasty! My wife had a No 1 Pho bowl and she loved it as well. The food is fresh you can't go wrong here. Also the staff is friendly and quick. So I would say I recommend King Pho and Sushi highly!!!! read more

Don't be fooled by the exterior! We came for the sushi and were not disappointed. The shrimp tempura appetizer was just right. The rolls and sashimi were better than expected. read more

The only place in Roseburg to get pho, but that being said, the pho is flavorful and plentiful. Great tasting broth. The sushi is decent, not the best I've ever had but far from the worst. My favorite thing on the menu u is the Thai iced tea. Smoky goodness. read more

nice and quiet, clean and very kind staff. loved the food, big portions and everything fresh hot and seasoned wonderfully, glad there's a dependable restaurant like this in town read more

O my my second time here and was looking forward to it!! Unfortunately!!... Served day old rice that was cold in the middle didn't even put it in the microwave long enough or mash the rice clumps so they could break up and be warmed all the way through. They didn't care one bit about my dish being hot on top and cod in the middle of the rice. The flavor was good just lacked pride in preparation. I won't be returning any time soon but they are the only sushi place in town that I know of. read more

Well, they did it and they did it BIG. Real Pho, real meat and plenty of them . They call it "Complete Pho" and it is that. Raw steak that cooks in the broth, meatballs, tripe, tendon and connective meat which all add to flavor and consistencies. And, it's very very good. Couple that with a large menu and great service and you pretty much can not go wrong. Thank you King Pho, ( if you want to have fun reverse it------just sayin! read more

Family run place which we love! We came for lunch on Valentine's Day and it was a little busy but not overly. We ordered the New Rainbow roll, egg rolls and a vermicelli bowl with grilled chicken and shrimp. Everything was phenomenally Reminded us of our Vietnamese place in LA. We loved that they played music also! read more

I said yes to the question, would I recommend this restaurant. I personally feel like they use way too much rice on the rolls that have an outer coating of rice. I only order out, so I cannot speak to the service and or ambience. But the food is fresh and delicious and I'm just trying to keep my carbs slow so for most people this place would be the place to go! read more

So excited to see Vietnamese food come to Roseburg! I got the P7 Pho Steak and Brisket. It was surprisingly good! The broth was tasty, the brisket was tender, and the basil, bean sprouts, and lime were fresh. The place could use a little ambiance, but the people were friendly, and the price isn't too bad. I'll definitely be coming back to try the sushi. read more

Went in about 7pm on a Friday night. The place was pretty packed but we were seated right away. The service was attentive. The decor seemed a little mismatched and lackluster. Definitely feels like they need some sprucing in that area. Now onto the food: the pho was amazing! The broth was very flavorful and the brisket was pretty tender. The sushi was just okay. They had a wonderful presentation, but the fish quality didn't seem as good as it could be. Overall, I'm really glad to have this new place in town. I'll definitely be back again for pho. read more

Tiny portion sizes, you literally get double the amount at other pho places. Waitress was really dismissive initially and didn't want to serve me (I have no clue why). Then, when it came time to pay they refused to provide me a CC receipt (not their invoice but the receipt that shows total amount, tip line, etc w/your CC. This is required for work reimbursements and standard at every business by law). Waitress said "we don't do that". I will not be returning. read more

A++++++++++!!! Wonderful people and great quality, and service! Pricing is average and menu has great variety. Very sweet by helping customers and on the phone I was a CA transplant and was introduced to both cuisines very early on as a young adult! Now, I'm seasoned on both cuisines and hands down, these awesome folks really know what they've doing with both cuisines. I have a healthy supply of organic spearmint which is sometimes acceptable when they may need it at times, year around. In comparison to excellent Central Valley and Northern Bay Area restaurant's, King's are right up there with them ! Always a pleasure enjoying them and variety of menu items which are served quite generously and their Thai Iced Tea is very sweet and deliciously refreshing! read more

Ok, folks: Verified review from an old-a-f foodie/Pho fan/sushi fan/tempura fan. Those of you familiar with King Otiginal in Salem over more than 10 years as the best Pho in Marion County. KING HAS ARRIVED, ROSEBURG!!!! Do NOT sleep on this recommendation!!!! Nigiri? Top Drawer! Inside-out rolls? The BEST!! But the T R U L Y Y Y Y shine with their Volcanoes!!! I get they are non traditional, but O M G ! Their tempura is LIGHT and AIRY instead of the heavy, doughy, nothing-like-tempura breading. ALLLL the appetizers are excellent and the sashimi glistens!!! But their pho IS KING!!!! YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID! read more

I grew up in Las Vegas and pho was one of my comfort foods. My partner and I get Pho every time we travel and I am so glad there is a place in Roseburg now! I went in on my lunch break during work this week and the service was quick, kind, and efficient. The pho was delicious, and a little on the sweet side, and the meat was good quality. I will definently be back, especially with such fair prices. read more

Ive been here twice before 830, like 827 and 828 and the doors have been locked. The dude inside says "last order at 830" and it isn't even 830 yet! Wth man? Its too bad because the food is decent however, the service sucks! To the owners of this hole, make your hours 11am to 830pm because your workers close the doors and shut the kitchen down before 830! To the whole town of Roseburg and Winston and Sutherlin, get your Sushi elsewhere, these people do not know the first thing about customer service! Never again. read more

This review is strictly for their Pho ... which for the most part was just simply okay, I've had worse. Realistically their Pho reminded me more of a Thai noodle soup rather than a Pho. That being said, the restaurant was nice and clean, the staff were friendly, the prices, however, were a bit high for what you get and parking was not a problem. Next time I think I'll try their fried rice. read more

What a nice new choice for Roseburg! Our book club met there and we were pleased with the experience. The food was great: sushi in generous portions, pho of all sorts, and tempura among other things. The service was fine: attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere didn't actually scream Asia, but it was very clean, and well lit: bright but not glaring. It was busy but not crowded. Fingers crossed that it will be successful and stick around for a while! read more

I find it unsanitary that the sushi chefs and cooks never removed their gloves after or between tasks. They will grab menus and dirty dishes then go prepare food with the same gloves. Where's the health department read more

Premade items stale! Ambiance lacking. Since it is Cafeteria style there is very minimal service to comment on.

It was ok. I'd say it's a 6.5 out of 10. Needs Tendon and tripe...also some cilantro and HOT OIL....then I think it could be good. I'm just used to a different PHO. Maybe a surf and turf Pho too. Inside was nice and friendly. Fast service and all smiles. read more

Nice to have some variety in the Roseburg restaurant scene! We had the chicken pho, steak pho, and the chicken bun (dry pho). Everything tasted good. Prices were good for the amount of food. Noodles were awesome. The edamame and gyoza were okay but not great. read more
