The absolute best Panda Express experience I have ever had. On my way to Tahoe, stopped in to use the restroom and wasn't even hungry. Staff gave me the key to the restroom with a smile. The line wasn't very long so I figured I would try something. Tried the shanghai Angus steak, and WOW! This is not fast food all of a sudden! I started seeing Chinese people everywhere for the next ten minutes or so! I'm a foodie and I got blown away by this entree. Good job Panda Express, you aced the customer service, the food and still manage to keep a clean store! Manager tried up-selling me on a drink, and when I didn't budge he still gave me a small cup for water! A different Panda Experience for sure! read more

Panda Express - On my way to Tahoe, first vacation in years! I get to have an amazing meal and how about this for good vibes!!! - Chinese Near Me - Placerville, California

Condemn this place! Seriously it needs to be shut down and majorly cleaned. Everything about it is greasy and grungy. Only eat here if you are hoping to skip work with salmonella. read more

This was our second time eating here. Last time we just grabbed egg rolls. My type one diabetic 8 year old wanted this on our way to the gym. He has been violently vomiting for the first time in his life. He vomited 8 times since 4 hours ago when he ate there. He vomited all over the inside of our car. What a nightmare!!! read more

I'm a regular at this Panda Express location. The meat and shrimp are always delicious. The rice has been dry at times, but if you ask for extra sauce and pour the sauce over it, it's addicting. Today I asked for all meat and no sides because I didn't want carbs. I got honey walnut shrimp, beef and broccoli and chicken teriyaki. It was all excellent!! Especially the broccoli! I look forward to my next Panda Express stop! read more

Fast, efficient, and hot food. My only real complaint is that the broccoli wasn't cooked very well. It is a clean place and the staff are very friendly, and polite. read more

I love Panda Express. Good food, relatively quick, usually many choices. I think if they just paid their workers a little bit more then they would stay on longer. No one seems to stay at this store for very long. Sometimes they are out of the food I want but there is usually something else I can try. read more

If I can order potstickers on the app, perhaps you actually carry them. Everything else is/was fine, but wow potstickers just aren't that hrs to carry...Folsom has them. read more

I've definitely had my share of inconsistent service and long waits at this location but today was phenomenal. The employee assisted me when I walked in and I was in n out in no time. I see the low stars for this location and I do believe business can improve on areas they are messing up. It's cool that there's a drive through. I never use it because I like to see the food that I'm going to get. Everything is usually pretty clean. The food was delicious. I had the panda bowl with veges, brown rice and orange chicken. Yep, overall pretty solid this visit. "Knock on wood" read more

Don't let them park you, I was told 5min, 20min later I decided to go in and ask for a refund, after waiting another 5-10min I was told that they couldn't give me a refund, I would have to call corporate, finally I get my order, and my drink is slammed down on the counter in front of me while the manager was trying to act ghetto, she then began to yell "get out of my store" as I was already on my way out. I won't be returning ether.... read more

Food is great when they have what you want. The most Mia managed Panda I have been to. Staff are running around like chickens with there heads cut off. read more

Filthy!! Not a clean table in the place, dirty bathrooms and unhappy employees. My pot stickers were hard, my eggroll was not fresh but my son said his food was fine. Going down hill fast which is so sad because we eat there alot. read more

Last 2 nights have been very bad. Last night they took forever through drive through and I was ok with that. I undestnad being busy ETc at least my order was correct. Tonight however was very fast but my whole order was wrong. I was also shorted items. I was more upset about being shorted and I was not looking to have my whole order replaced. The manager on duty had he nerve to argue with me as she could not understand what I was wanting. Oh well who knew getting a correct order of panda was such a huge task. Having kids run this place is clearly not working. read more

3 times in a month I've tried to order Steak and Shrimp from this location during dinner time. And they never have it ready to order!!! This is a common occurrence for orange chicken and teriyaki chicken as well!! This place is horribly managed!! read more

The are very cheap. Barely give me chow main even after I asked them to add little more. Spent 5 min more driving and you better service and more for your dollars. read more

Panda Express - By gaining $ on chow main. They lost Castomer. - Chinese Near Me - Placerville, California

I suggest read reviews first if you can. All same complants. Public dont waste time or cash. The couple Of times I did eat there way overpriced. Not impressed. Sounds like it has gotten way worse. Teach them lessons dont eat there. Many many yrs ago in Carm I could not go by without bring some over to my Mothers. I did so love to come up with all kinds of different good foods to feed her with. Always loved to feed My Family. Love to watch them enjoy good food. I miss them so much. Loved cooking for them and knowing that there tummys are full. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Watched a worker with no gloves on; give a fist bump to another customer then cross contaminate the food counter and the food on the counter as he was packing up customers food. Obviously they need to retrain the staff on cross contamination & the pandemic! Health risk here. You risk getting sick. read more

The last three times I have ordered the food was hardly edible. Noodles were dry like they had been sitting out for hours, so was the rice. I actually love Panda's Orange chicken but this place, it is over cooked and hard as a rock like it was sitting out since yesterday. Three times is more than they deserved and I will never go back. read more

The employees here should be ashamed of themselves. Berating two little girls who have asthma and can't wear masks. And how hypocritical of those employees, since they themselves were not wearing their masks over their noses. They should be reprimanded and possibly fired for their conduct. This happened around 6 PM on 7/2/20. This restaurant is a MESS. read more

I will never return to this location again. They get my order wrong and then I drive home 15 minutes away only to find out that they didn't give me what I ordered. For me to drive all the way back, have them fix it, and go home again would take an additional 30 minutes minimum. I ordered a two item meal with chow mein. They put the meal in the bigger container (not a bowl), filled it with their crappy chow mein, put about 5 pieces of honey walnut shrimp and NO teriyaki chicken that I chose as my second item. None. The food was also rather cold. It made me so mad that I went to their website and left a message for them asking them why I should ever return to their establishment. They never responded. So, now they get yet ANOTHER HORRIBLE Yelp review. There are so many, Placerville Panda Express. Why don't you do something to make your crappy restaurant better? Even Taco Bell NEVER gets my order wrong. I'll never go back to your restaurant again. One star given because I can't give zero. read more

I did not enjoy my experience today and ended up not ordering when I came through the drive thru. When asked for a moment to make a decision on what we wanted the employee insisted that we came inside to look over the menu because the lobby was open. Mind you no one was in line behind us and we were the only ones there. I thanked them for offering that option and mentioned that no one was behind us and asked for a moment. When we were ready and tried to order our meal we were told they didn't have white rice. Then when I asked for brown rice the employee gave us attitude and then shared that they had no rice because their rice maker was broken. It's not my fault the rice maker was broken! Should probably start off with informing your customers of that first. The employee was extremely rude throughout the entire exchange. The employee seemed irritated by questions we were asking about the menu when options weren't available. She then insisted we came inside again to make our order and was resistant to serving us properly through the drive-thru. There were reasons why coming inside wasn't an option for us today and the employee did not seem to care. Panda lost me as a customer today. I ended up pulling through and did not go inside. Also there was still NO ONE in line. read more

We tried having lunch at Panda this time, and the food really is poor. I think they need to find new cooks. The food tastes stale and overcooked. No improvement yet. Downgrading our rating to 1 star. read more

SLOW service & insanely long wait time at this location's drive thru. Please don't let the 3 cars in line fool you...it will take like 20 minutes! Just go inside & get it to go. The cashiers literally have to apologize every time I come here. Need more efficiency with the cooks, food prep & check-out. Past few years of reviews paint the same picture of this location's problems. So, not expecting improvement anytime soon. Sorry Placerville Panda. Lost my business after today. FYI, I'm writing this while stuck in your drive thru line. 28 minutes & counting...two cars still ahead of me & at least 3 more unluckily stuck patrons behind me. read more

Every time I have been to this location they are out of at least 5-6 items. This time is took 10 minutes to get white rice. The staff is always friendly but they don't seemed to be prepared for any type of lunch rush. read more

Just spent over 20 min trapped in the drive thru with 3 cars ahead of me. The guy at the window said they couldn't move any faster because they were all pretty much the same order and they were out. You Have like a 10 item menu and your out? Terrible customer service and they think they deserve $15.00 an hour? If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I emailed Customer Service on the Panda Express website last night and received a response from them today. They ensured that they are ironing out the kinks with their online ordering system and apologized for the service and quality of the food. We will give Panda Express another chance. Everytime I've gone here it's been a terrible experience, they are always out of entrees this time 3 entrees and Panda Express is fast Chinese but for me it's always fresh and hot. Not the Placerville store it's sucks the last time I go...wish I could put negative stars read more

You know I love panda express but for some reason this location I personally feel skimped me. I ordered the 2 entree plate, sweet fire chicken and broccoli beef and I could count the meat chunks from both portions on one hand. Literally 2 pieces of beef and 3 pieces of chicken. First Panda express I've ever felt like that! I don't expect Fats Asian Bistro or PF Changs but I do expect a fair portion. read more

The drive thru window laughs like a hyena when it closes. They're open late and quick enough. The best part really is the drive-thru window. It's a short distance from the highway, so it's convenient! We've returned numerous times since this review was posted. read more

This place is OK. Pretty good food, reasonable prices - something different from McD's and the Bell when you're looking for fast food. If you're watching the calories be careful here - the count can really sneak up! Remember that this is fast 'American' food - not gourmet Chinese - and if you take that caveat into consideration the food is pretty good. I'm not going to be a regular here, but if someone wanted to meet here for a meal I would not object. read more

Do NOT go here if you are looking for a good selection of food to choose from or if you would like to sit at a table that is actually clean! The opinion of the management is that you can't please everyone, so I guess they don't try to please anyone. There are a lot of good Chinese restaurants in our area, I recommend you go somewhere that has better customer service. read more

I orders $40 worth of food from here. The food my family received looked and tasted as if it were a couple days old and had been cooked more then once. We used to like Panda Express, but after this experience we will not be returning. My advise is to not waste your money at this location. read more

11/09/2017 6:30 pm. four people ahead of me. Took over 15minutes to get served. The server was young manthat had no personality. Walked around like a zombie. No customer interaction, not friendly. Slow as molasses. Behind me were 8 customers. By the time I finally paid for food 5 people walked out. When I paid for the food the young man took my receipt and immediately crumbled it up as if to throw away. I use my receipt to do the survey. Asked for my receipt and he reluctantly gave it to me. Just incredibly poor management and staff Food was satisfactory. It will be awhile before I go back to this one. read more

I wasn't expecting much. Its Panda EXPRESS, so a fast food place. Tonight, I got a bowl to-go with Chow Mein and Beef and Broccoli. I've never been so irritated. I spent almost $6 for a half a bowl of chow mein, some broccoli, and quite literally two pieces of beef. Two. Pieces. The fact that I had to pay normal price for a bowl with barely and meat and that wasn't even full absolutely astounds me. We'll see if I return. Doubt it. read more

These reviews are right! I went through the drive through for lunch today and it was such a struggle. O had to repeat my order three times because the girl was saying I had completely different items than I had requested, then I paid for a plate. And the receipt reflected the right order and I ended up with a bowl with entirely different items in it. Not only did I pay for more than I received, it was entirely wrong. read more

Very disappointed with my visit today. When I got there, there was only two people in line who were ordering quiet a bit. After five minutes of waiting the line was very long and nobody was coming to help even though there were employees in the back just standing around. They were out of many things including white rice so I had to wait a bit. What Chinese restaurant runs out of steamed rice! They finally went and got the manager to help at the cash register and he was extremely friendly unlike the employees. The food in general wasn't good not that it is very good at any location in general. Not coming back. read more

I used to go here frequently for lunch, but since the new management has taken over and they let go a lot of the old workers it seems the quality and friendliness has gone away. Today I purchased a bowl meal and got 1 scoop of rice and 1 scoop of chicken. The server was rude as if I had inconvenienced her with my presence. Will not be going back any time soon. read more

The food here is not that great. Soggy chicken and they continue to get orders wrong.

Waited 10 minutes in the drive thru and the manager came up to the window to apologize about the wait. When I actually got my food(beef and broccoli with white rice) I was given all broccoli with zero beef. After taking 15 minutes for my food I didn't even check until I got home. read more

I recently went to panda in Placerville, I've been pandas before with no problems. But today when I went I immediately noticed food bits left on tables as I walk in. Then when I went to order food I ordered fried rice, Beijing beef and black pepper chicken with a chicken egg roll. The rice was burned / hard, the egg roll was cold in the middle and the beef was hard and stiff. To where it was hard to chew. I don't recommend this place, not until they get their stuff in order and clean up! read more
