The broth has a strong beef flavor and overall great dish. The pad Thai on the other hand, it's a good attempt at Pad Thai but in my opinion is too sugary. Love the noodles with the peanuts on top. You have the soft noodles with the crunchy peanuts. It adds a nice contrast of crunchy and soft at the same time. You can see the sliced carrots and the beef. I also added chicken. It's a good dish, but it's in my opinion missing more bean sprouts and it needed more tamarin sauce. More fish sauce, and it would've been nice to add stirfry basil so you could taste the basil leaves when you stirfry it. It's also missing eggs. Maybe I didn't see any of it. I didn't taste any eggs or it was just covered in sauce, but who knows it was still good. I ate the whole thing.

There were still poop lines in the shrimp. You didn't get any smokiness from the soy sauce at all. Do I recommend this place? This place was a staple in atx but with my Overall experience with the food quality I cannot recommend this place. We have had the roasted pork before and it was ok. Not the best we ever had but meh. Where we were seated we can hear the cooks yelling at each other in the kitchen. There are other restaurants in Austin that are way better.

Don't recommend! So disappointed they stopped carrying the only vegan meat alternative they had, the beyond orange chicken. Instead, they choose to profit from torture and slaughter of innocent sentient beings. No one at front desk ever answered questions. Folks yelled for service, but manager hid in back, no kidding. For real! One old guy asked for a refund. He was very polite but had waited 25 minutes. The manager refused to refund him until the poor man threatened to call the cops. Whereupon the manager refunded him in cash! Outrageous. A few savaged customers who had earlier tried to complain took their food after 40 minutes waiting and left, dejected by the entire humiliating experience. But they kept moaning about "how hungry I am" and "how I can't wait to just get back to my apartment now." They were too beaten to even muster hope for their tawdry sack of already oily leaking, paper bag staining order. It was brutal. A lot of good people were brutalized this night, and few, if any, will ever get the recognition they so steeply deserve. After all, their only crime was waiting forever for bad food and being subject to stress tests randomly applied by a grinning, absentee manager.
