The bill. Definitely disappointed.

Portions have been reduced by 50% or more! No bang for the buck! I would not recommend this Panda Express to anyone! The String bean and chicken only had two pieces of chicken. Beijing Beef was a small portion too. Need to close this site!

I will start of by saying the staff at store #2620- the best. Friendly and helpful. Now let's talk about the food: The food...simply horrible. The food was cold. The taste was off. The orange chicken was sooo hard. We threw half of it away. The beef and broccoli, ugh. Where do I start. The sauce was sticky. The broccoli looked old. It wasn't appealing at all. Finally, the noodles or I should say the cabbage with a few noodles. Super disappointed about our experience. No plans to come back again.

Looks okay, but I could not eat any of it.

Panda Express has really taken a dip in quality lately. The food is barely warm, yet the meat they use is the lowest grade found anywhere. The Shanghai Angus Pepper Steak tasted bland and tart. Sorry, paying $13 for a meal should be piping hot and tasty, something that family owned Chinese gets down perfectly. Sorry for sounding like Gordon Ramsay, but the only thing I liked, was the Veggie Spring Rolls and Fortune Cookie. The rest is not worth me to even bother swallowing. I had to spit it out. I know the Panda species is endangered - but I feel this chain should finally be extinct. It's a poor value, for the shareholders and customers.

This employee was happy to help the customer that walked in at the same time as me. But she looked at her watch then told me she couldn't serve me because they were closing. Their door says open 30 min more. I told her and she rolled her eyes at me and walked away. I never come here. I thought I would try something different. Guess that's why I never come here.

Service bar with empty pans... already sparkling clean because they stopped cooking hours ago.

Why are they even open. It was 8:20 pm on a Tuesday. Night. They don't close for 40 minutes! . The grilles are off, the kitchen's closed, only 5 tired baked on and dried out items with shriveled up undistinguishable vegetables are left. I walked out. Three other diners followed suit. We try to support local businesses but if they don't return the courtesy they lose customers permanently. Not the operation the founders created years ago. Just corporate greed.

I had a good experience at this location, staff where friendly, food was fresh and the place was very clean. One of my coworkers left his phone here and when i called they where honest about finding the cell phone and asked for a description of the phone ..

The sign said open at 9:30a but I just came and the doors were still locked. I don't know if they saw us but we tried both doors and nothing

This is the dirtiest Panda Express I've ever been to. Every table is dirty food all over the floor. Bathroom toilet is really gross.

I've gone twice and the meat is either chewy or not cooked well. I would not waste my money on this place. Worst panda I've ever been too.

Why post your hours to clos at 9pm on a Friday night if you close before 9. I showed up at 8:50 and doors were locked.

In-N-Out Burger - OVERfried, COLD, hard French fries. I think because of the holiday, they probably had fries sitting out ready to be ordered. Not even hot!

Cheap eats in a "deserted" desert (2 of 2)…read more I happened to be in this neighborhood right at around lunchtime. I had just gotten one of those nicely priced haircuts at the student salon of the nearby beauty school. I had to drive past this In-N-Out, being on 111 and roughly at the border of Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert. Unlike many others, I don't fawn over In-N-Out out. I will periodically go into one and eat if I don't have a more specific idea of where I want to eat, so I turned the car into their driveway and looked for a parking spot in their shopping center lot. You have to give them credit for always knowing how to incorporate a drive-through and make the overall scheme work fairly well. I was planning to eat inside and enjoy their air conditioning! I stuck to their easy to order combinations and got a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. The cheeseburger and fries were fairly good, but not stellar. They feature Coca-Cola products, but also offer a pink lemonade in both regular and lite form. I've had it before and it's very tasty, so that's what I helped myself to. All of the employees I interacted with were very helpful. I was surprised to find the store that busy in the off-season such that it took a little bit of time to receive one's order, but it was not excessive. Given its being in this nicer area, I found the clientele to be fairly diverse yet well-mannered. The interior of the store is definitely clean, and there's always an employee nearby who is cleaning tables as well as stocking condiments and other dining room items. I was sort of clueless about In-N-Out growing up in SoCal, even though I did know it was there. I just stuck to Bob's Big Boy, Norm's, and the fast food majors for eating on the go. Of all places, the first In-N-Out at which I ate was at the Gold Country's Auburn, California location. I was dealing a client situation in that area right off I-80 along with a coworker who came from Vietnam and took some good-natured razzing from us for being a Berkeley grad ... actually the only one in the office. She suggested it, so I steered the car in the direction of that Auburn In-N-Out and, lo and behold, I finally became acquainted with this outfit. As such, I will now periodically eat at In-N-Out and this Rancho Mirage location is definitely recommended.

LOCATION: Great upscale retail center location. Lots of parking and other things to do before or after your meal. FACILITY: Outstanding design from concept. All new, bright, colorful designs, and open space. MENU: Not sure, but it seems very simple which is good for me, it is Hot Chicken or Hot Chicken, they are not confused about what they offer. FOOD PREP: Well done, simple delivery in a basket. I am a PNW and SoCal kid so did not get the slice of white bread and pickles, must be a southern thing. FOOD QUALITY: Very good, while I did not care for the taste of the spice I cannot say it was bad as obviously others love it. If I returned I would go NO SPICE and I'd be fine. I don't do reviews based only upon what I like. WAITSTAFF: Wow, Jasmin was so professional and seemed to be running the show up front. she did an exceptional job, so refreshing to see this. Great management I guess, keep her, pay her, clone her. OVERALL VALUE: Pretty good if you do not over order. I ordered one tender and a small drink and it was $10.00 TIP: If it is your first visit, be aware of spice levels and overall taste of the spice, it is hot and sweet... but good in its own way.

Del Taco - The actual order and the food they gave me

Del Taco

Thursday afternoons have turned into a bit of a ritual for me: hitting different Del Taco spots…read moreduring their weekly special. From 3 PM to 11 PM, you're supposed to score 3 chicken tacos for $4.99. I've done it plenty of times, and it usually works just fine. Today, at 3:17 PM, I pulled up, ordered the exact deal that was printed right on the door, and expected to pay five bucks plus tax. Instead, my receipt came out to $7. It's not about the couple of dollars -- it's about the principle. If a promotion is advertised big and bold, the register should honor it. I shouldn't have to chase down an employee or debate the pricing just to make it right. The food was standard Del Taco: hot, quick, and exactly what you expect. The ambiance? Basic fast-food setup -- bright lights, tile floors, plastic tables, and that slightly echo-y vibe when the place isn't crowded. It was clean enough, with a steady flow of drive-thru traffic, but nothing that makes you want to hang out longer than finishing your meal. Final take: 1 star. Honesty and consistency matter more than cheap tacos. If the special says $4.99, it should ring up as $4.99 -- no exceptions.

I regret coming here -- and I don't recommend it to anyone. I don't even know where to begin, so…read morelet me just break down why this place dropped to 1 star in my book: 1. Disgustingly dirty. Both the dining area and the restroom were in terrible condition, and the kitchen didn't look any better. Open sauce bottles sitting on tables, potatoes scattered on the kitchen floor, the drink station completely sticky and messy, trash left everywhere. A place where people eat should never look like this. 2. False advertising. The only reason we stopped in was the sign outside: "Thursday grilled chicken tacos just $4.99." The deal started at 3:00 PM, and we walked in at 3:04. We ordered exactly those tacos, but they charged us full price, as if the promo didn't exist. Sure, it's just a $2 difference, but it's not about the money -- it's about the dishonesty. You can't lure customers in with a deal and then refuse to honor it. That destroys trust and ruins a restaurant's reputation. 3. Slow service. How does it take 20 minutes to make tacos in a place with barely any customers? Even busy cafés with full dining rooms manage to be faster. This is supposed to be fast food -- the whole point is convenience and saving time. Here, it was the opposite. I can't imagine what would happen if they actually had a crowd. 4. Unsafe surroundings. The vibe outside was honestly sketchy. The type of people hanging around made us worried about leaving our car. Sure, the restaurant isn't fully responsible for who walks by, but interestingly, the shops and cafés nearby didn't give off the same unsafe feeling. The food itself was fine, but honestly, if they had managed to mess up the tacos too, my rating would have gone into the negatives. Recommendation: avoid this place.
