On this occasion I wanted something quick but also something that brought me back some memories. I went to Panda Express, why the memories that is another story. As I entered you are hit with the wonderful aromas of different dishes being served. You are greeted with the person that will take your order promptly, very courteous personnel. The food; I choose Orange Chicken with Beijing Beef and Lo Mein Noodles. The chicken was good well prepared and the beef order was equally flavorful with just the right amount of spiciness. The noodles were ok it was missing something or just not cooked properly but they weren't as I remembered. Overall the place is good with just the right amount of seating and the location makes it an easy get in and out with the option of the use of the drive thru.

Meat portion was tiny, even after she added some after the first complaint.

The employee told me it was her first day after she put about 3 pieces of Beijing Beef on my Panda Bowl. I asked if that was the portion, and the manager came over to show her how much to scoop. She placed a few morsels of beef and onions and that was it. This is the portion I received even after I said something to the cashier. Turned out it was soggy and too spicy which means it was old. If you've ever had fresh Beijing Beef, it's crispy and balanced between spicy and sweet. Yuck and a waste of $30 today. My friend's teriyaki chicken was a rubbery texture and either not well cooked or sat on the hot line too long. She did not eat it and chose not to say anything to management. Will not be going back to this location.

I got a plate and after, I threw up and had a really bad stomach for a week but the food tasted good but I don't think it was worth it.

Food is decent but the place isn't clean, they never have napkins, and the unsweet tea is always empty. People are nice though.

And I was pleasantly surprised, it seems at least to me better run than before. But let's start from the beginning, parking is good including some handicap areas near the restaurant. As you walk in the hostess takes you to your table depending on the size of your group, as you can see the place is decorated nicely with Asian influences, once seated you are asked what you'll be drinking. After that you can get up and choose what you'll be having for your meal. Once you see the spread offered you greatly appreciate the effort that was given to prepare such an abundance of choices. Yes the variety is great, including sushi to different soups. In other words you will find something that you will enjoy. Then the dessert options is equally delicious, from cakes, fruit, to ice cream. Grand Buffet is a good option for a single person or a larger group, and if you want you can get your meal to go. So if you are craving Asian cuisine you could try this place you'll enjoy it.

There is a wide selection of options to choose from so make sure that you come in hungry. My favorite was the hibachi, with it being made fresh. Overall it's worth the money if you come in hungry!

We were not wrong about the authentic taste but the dishes we tried certainly surpass our expectation. The pho broth was soothing and comforting and they have all the basic requirement for a decent pho bowl. The noodle came out undercooked, but we spoke to them about it and they fixed it. The grilled pork vermicelli was incredible. The ingredients were fresh and the meat had a perfect char grill flavor. The flavor was just how we like it. It was so good that we had to order to go for the following day. It was really glad we gave this place a try. And kudos to the restaurant for fixing the undercooked pho noodles.

We did mostly Chinese dishes (Orange and General Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, Triple Delight). They were all... serviceable. The General chicken didn't have any heat whatsoever, and the chicken pieces were larger than typical general/orange chicken pieces. It tasted like quality chicken that needed more spice, more flavor. The taste was more subtle than I wanted, as was the fried rice. The unbreaded chicken meals seemed a little better, but no one at the table was really wowed. The Triple Delight was probably the highlight of the table. One of us did try the Pho, and it was VERY cilantro-forward. If you like that, you'll like the Pho. I will commend them on a real good egg roll, a pretty good crab puff, and a very good egg drop soup. The portions were generous, but the prices matched the portions. Ultimately, if you are looking for a Chinese spot, it may be unfair to expect that from a Vietnamese spot. I'm sure those coming for a Banh Mi or Pho will be pleased. But for me, the hunt for a Chinese spot in Northeast New Braunfels continues.
