I love Jason's deli. I'm a fan, and will continue to be a fan. We stopped by today for lunch my husband and I. The place was so busy but overall great service delicious food. The staff was so friendly, everyone helping from cleaning and keeping customers happy and just keeping the restaurant busy and moving. There's so many options from sandwiches to soups to the salad bar is my favorite and I usually just get a little bit of everything. My family loves that place. The only small little complaint that I have which I know is kind of silly and funny is to bring the green peas back lol. Those peas were delicious and I know they've been gone for years, but that's all keep doing a fantastic job. I will continue to be regular a customer. read more

Have always loved Jason's Deli, but we ordered for the 1st time and it will be the last time from New Braunfels. There is better quality down the road in San Antonio. Our sandwiches were not a full breast meat like the o e in San Antiono, the panini's were over cooked. And you could not taste the pesto on the sandwich. The Italian pasta salad had no dressing on it. It was just plain noodles with veggies. We ordered these sandwiches because we just had them 2 weeks ago over in San Antiono while we were out Christmas shopping and they were sooooo good. So good! I've eaten here once a few years back and it was to go. I placed an order for a sandwich, but I don't remember which one it was. I don't think I was too sold on it because after that one time, I never returned. A friend and I decided to have lunch here one day. I tried the chicken bacon ranch Baked potato. My goodness!! I am so upset at myself for missing out on such an awesome potato, all of these years. That was probably one of the best potatoes I've ever had! It was huge, enough to feed two people if you split it in half. it was full of flavor, had chunks of chicken and bacon with every bite. I ordered my one year-old a cheese pizza, and he absolutely loved it! He was dancing while enjoying it as he watched his iPad while we dined. He's a very picky eater and will only eat a few bites of certain things, but he ate two out of four slices of the pizza. I was able to bring the other two slices home and he enjoyed those a little later on in the evening. This will be a new go to lunch spot for me from now on. I went yesterday the food looked horrible and disgusting my mom tried hers and got food poisoning. I called them 4 times yesterday and got no answer. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! This rating is not based upon food - it's based upon customer service. My daughter plays college softball and their school does not supply food for the games - which is a problem for another day. Hubs and I have been purchasing sandwiches for in between games and since we could not attend an away game in Seguin due to COVID protocols, I had to research and order online. With all the resources what should have been easy was anything but. I placed an order online with scholtzskys and paid for it - on the day of the games I called that morning to confirm and they basically told me they would not do it (again I've paid) and I have to contact someone else for refund. I then call local subway - nope they would not do it either even though they advertise for delivery. They said door dash would not deliver that many sandwiches - hmmmm There was not a sandwich shop in Seguin that would accommodate 15 sandwiches and deliver - they can deliver fewer but not that many. Really? So I contacted Jason's deli in New Braunfels and spoke to Abby. She didn't give me excuses - tell me all of the issues with this - or hesitate at all - she just said we can make it happen. I told those girls they would have food, I was stressed, and Abby made it happen! The girls said the boxed sandwiches were excellent. Next weekend they are at home; hubs and I will probably buy sandwiches again and we will go to Jason's Deli because they made it happen! The food is excellent...when you receive it. I placed an order online today at 10a for a pickup at 12-1230, like I have done before (since I only get a 30 min lunch). Never had a problem until now. When I arrived, it was 12:20 and after being treated really rudely by the staff (it was also busy like no ones business but no excuse for them), I was told my salad has not been made. I spoke with a male manager (who had earlier told an employee not to help me from the Togo line since the eat here line was crazy- but he said that in front of me after i walked over to that register) for a refund and he said "it was an online order? Well, the system is down". He didn't apologize nor did I receive a notification- a call, email, whatever. I actually got an order confirmation. He said he could order it but I'd have to wait for the orders in front of me. I never once received an apology. I asked if I can get a refund and he shrugged and said "it should drop off at the end of the day". I just want to let you know the staff at this location are very rude and do not know how to handle the lunch crowd....which Jason's Deli is ALWAYS crowded. How do you forget to put tomatoes on a sandwich? Almost everyone gets tomato on their sandwich. The receipt even says tomato. Is there a tomato shortage? Was the employee in a rush and not had the 3 seconds to put the tomato on the sandwich? I don't mind paying over $7 for a sandwich, I just wish all the ingredients that I requested were on said sandwich. Such a disappointment. I went in at 11:43 and ordered half a Reuben sandwich with soup and chips. Food came out quickly and was delicious. I was a little over halfway thru my meal when I got up to get a refill of iced tea. I was gone less than a minute. As I'm walking back to my table I see the same kid who brought my food walking away from my table with my food piled on a tray. I think I was overly stuffed after a plate and a half of salad. My cousin ordered a fettuccine Alfredo with chicken the serving for a full order was huge. He was very full after eating everything on his plate. My son had. Kids peanut butter and jam with carrots. He enjoyed his meal as well the portions were actually very filling. After my cousin eating his fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I decided to order two more to go for my husband and daughter. It was a a treat for them for dinner since by the time I get through traffic it would be about 4 pm. The NB location may be a little further than the Stone oak location but the total driving time would be less if you Included traffic. I have been coming here for over 5 years. I always get the same thing pastrami. I order the New Yorker which is 1/2 pastrami 1/2 corned beef. I always ask to sub the corned beef for pastrami. The reason I do that is because it's supposed to come with 3/4 lb of meat which is 3 bags. (Yes it comes in bags). Anyway I come here every 1-2 months. For months I kept saying to my family that this doesn't look like 3 bags. One day last time I went, I get my sandwich and tell my family I'm with this doesn't look right. Finally I do something, I go and order a pastrami sandwich which I know comes with 2 bags. I also ask the cashier who ask the sandwich guy and confirmed this. Needless to say I get my sandwich and it is exactly the same as my other sandwich. I got my refund for the sandwich but who cares!!! The deception is unacceptable! Who knows how long this has been going on!! We need to expose these corrupt businesses that try to take advantage. If I ever go again I will bring a scale and take pictures. read more

I craved it an the daily but it was slightly over my budget sometimes or I was to busy working to get to enjoy those awesome managers specials with the chicken salad on a croissant, broccoli & cheese in a soup bread bowl and the plain Jain , the bad ass salad bar were all on point I ate there regularly. Then some time went by and I stopped eating it as much. Probably because it's nothing like it used to be to be honest. I mean it taste the exact same but nothing has stood out and got my attention in AWHILE. The soap is powdery and everything is way not fresh like before. Sorry to have to be honest. But I give them props for knowing how to fun a business by if it closes at 10 do not shut down everything at 9? I mean come on guys it's crazy how no one wants to work anymore so everything it's available 30 min before close in a town that rolls the streets up at 9 pm anyways. Walked into this location and was greeted by a cheerful young lady. She took our order and answered questions we had without any hesitation. She was delightful! Moving along to the salad bar...this location has the best salad bar I've ever seen at a Jason's Deli. The variety was amazing. There was someone constantly refilling and cleaning the salad bar too so toppings were always available. The rest of the family ordered sandwiches and they were satisfied. Their sandwiches were hot and large! Definitely will stop by this location again in the future! read more
