I don't know if it's the store employees or the drivers, but beware. This happened enough times thru UberEats that they stopped giving me refunds. Bagels are fine. Just go pick them up. read more

This happens all the time, but I have now decided to report it. They have teenagers working there who couldn't care less. We order and pay online. When we picked up our order the lox and bagel sandwich was completely wrong. Wrong bagel. Not toasted. Wrong cream cheese. The doggie bagels were so hard my lab couldn't even bite it and he eats everything. We called to let them know and they couldn't even be bothered. How hard is it to follow instructions? They said there was nothing they could do and unless we wanted to drive all the way back, which is 5 miles, they would not be able to refund our money. No apology or anything. This has happened before, but we thought we would try one more time. Please hire literate people with social skills who can read a receipt. And have a way to effectively deal with issues when they arise. Shame on you!!!! read more

I haven't been to Einstein Bagels in forever. Mike the general manager was super friendly! I got two black coffees, orange juice and a toasted blueberry bagel. Everything was delicious! The restaurant was empty expect for one table. It was clean all around. The price was $14 dollars for the whole meal. I will definitely be back to this location! read more

The sauerkraut was horrible! Pork chops were sub-par and server never came back to fill our drinks. Then we had a table of seven they charged us gratuity. We split the bill because we were two separate parties. We don't have a problem with the gratuity, but they charge us both the same percentage so they essentially took extra money. I think that's pretty shady!! So with a half ass service, low food, quality and billing issues we will not come here again!!! read more

I just had the two best bagels ever!! This is the very first time I have been here. Fast, courteous service! I had the Spinach Florentine just as is. Amazing!!! Perfect amount of spinach nestled under the melted cheese. I say the perfect amount because when you ask for spinach on a pizza in the south, they just put a few measly leaves of spinach. The second one I had was chocolate chip with reduced fat honey almond cream cheese. Perfect combination as the honey almond cream cheese elevates the flavor over all. The bagels were the right amount of chewiness. I hardly ever have bagels, let alone two at once but I am so glad I had these two!!! read more

Just noticed my bank statement. I visited Einstein Bagel in New Braunfels, TX, on May 9 and May 14 about 7am both days. Notice a $1 added difference. I ordered Nova Loc both days. Food was good both times, standard order. NO TIP was added either visit. Get a receipt every visit, check it before leaving the store. Someone may be tipping themselves. This is one of the only Einstein Bros Bagels in the Greater San Antonio area that is not located on a military base so I'm blessed to drive past it on my commute to work. The bagels are unlike any other bagel I've ever had! It truly is a treat! There are flavors of bagels, and cream cheese, called 'smears, are unique and can't be found at the grocery store. They don't just offer bagels and 'smears, they also offer bagel sandwiches, a few pastries, fruit cups, hot chocolate and coffee. Think Starbucks menu but with only 1/3 the drinks. My go to breakfast sandwich is the warm BLT avocado & egg whites. It's one of their signature sandwiches. Theres a sauce on it that taste kind of like cheese and Thousand Island dressing. My favorite sugar splurge is a toasted chocolate chip bagel with strawberry 'smear. It's like Valentines Day chocolate covered strawberries with a warm crust. I'd gave this 4 instead of 5 stars because I've had a couple fails. When it gets "busy" which to this place is more than 3 people waiting, my food has been cold. There's also an employee who can be nice most of the time but i've seen get snippy with other employees in front of everyone when it's "busy". This is awkward to watch. But other times customers know the employee by name and the person is friendly. read more

The Brisket sandwich was ok. The sauce is what made it good. Unfortunately it sat on the bagel for 10 minutes before the sandwich was made so the inside of the bagel was soggy. The customer service was definitely lacking. There wasn't any friendliness or joy in either of the two workers up front. After the customers backed up to 8 deep, then the 2 people came from the back to "help." I could see why the employees were unhappy due to the barking leadership style. Horrible service, especially from a few employee that will remain nameless here. I have reached out to the corporate office with a complaint because of my experience. The treatment I received from a certain employee was so bad it warranted a complaint to corporate.....other employees seem to be afraid to smile. Inconsistent quality and service...the bagels are good but check your orders, overcooked eggs, poorly sliced bagels when buying larger orders to go, cream cheese all over the bottom of to go bags...just plain sloppy service.
