I spent my entire lunch break waiting for food at this location. It took them over 20 minutes to fulfill an order I placed through the drive-through, and once I got it my entree was basically lukewarm at best. They told me I was waiting for chicken eggrolls, which came out boiling hot, but everything else that I had ordered had clearly already been packed and apparently was sitting in a bag somewhere waiting for my chicken eggrolls. We generally like Panda Express but this location seems lacking in expertise in the food prep and drive through friendliness. I love the Panda Passion Iced Tea but was told they didn't have it which was disappointing. The rangoons we ordered were way over cooked...very dark brown/burnt. The orange chicken was incredibly spicier than usual. The drive through personnel (2 of them for some reason) were very impatient when we needed a little time to figure out our order and incredibly unfriendly at the window. Every single time I come to this location there is an issue. Last time I visited (4 months ago) I had to bring my plate back twice because there was no meat on it, just veggies. The time before that I had to complain that the food was burned and grill junk was mixed in. Tonight I bought 3 meals and two had the green bean chicken- both meals with the green bean chicken were ordered with less beans and more meat since we have had issues getting our meat in the past. Instead of meat, we got two meals ruined with grill gristle, grime and fatty chunks of what at first appeared to be chicken but when I picked some up it was all fat. I am extremely angry and have contacted corporate. This location has issues and nobody cares when I contact their manager! Don't waste your money- they will try to offer you a free meal for your trouble but the free meal will not be good either! read more

How fast they are depends on the time of day. Yesterday I went through the drive-thru. After ordering and paying, they told me there was a wait on rice. They told me to park in their lot and they'd bring it out. The lot was full so we sat idle behind another parked car. We watched 3 more cars trying desperately to find a spot to wait for their rice. After 15 minutes, they bring our order to the car. Halfway home, we realize they forgot to put the order of Rangoon's in the bag. Had to turn around and go wait in line again inside to get the missing Rangoons. Food was good and fresh but not worth that hassle. read more

It was very busy the night we visited. We were impressed with the team, how quickly they handled orders and kept up with courtesy and smiles. Everyone was running around trying to keep up with orders. They managed to keep out of each others way. They still managed to smile and greet customers like they were the only in the store. There was one girl who said it was her second night on. I was impressed with her ability to keep up with the rest of the team. Great team!!! read more

I love me some orange chicken and chow mein. However, consistency is not a big thing at this location. The chicken looks different every time I come. Sometimes the chow mein is dry and lacks flavor, and in order to make it flavorful I must pour some soy sauce over it. I know it's not just my taste buds, as I've been to locations closer to Portland who make it taste amazing. But it's never anything really bad when it comes to the food. The bad parts come with the service. Sometimes the service is alright and the servers at least seem happy to work there. A few times however, the server has been clearly in a bad mood. One time the server made a small mistake and we pointed it out to help, and she seemed angry with us. A few weeks ago I came late at night at a little before 10 pm (on a Friday night) and tried to open the door. The doors were locked. However, the open sign was still on and there was one customer eating inside. The employees looked at us then looked away like they didn't see us. Online and on the door stated they were open until 10:30. I work at a grocery store, and know it's annoying when customers come in like 5-10 minutes before closing, but this was over 30 minutes. I know it's fast food, but I've received some great service at fast food restaurants, so it shouldn't really matter what kind of business this is. They could try a little harder. read more

The drive thru worker when I came through, Abbey, WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I work in fast food and I have NEVER met someone who was so helpful and welcoming in any other drive thru other than where I work. I loved how she gave me time to choose and how nice she was about it, and how she answered all of my questions about what I was ordering! Long story short, I absolutely loved her and I loved how we were both able to relate about our drive thru experiences outside of where we work. And the food? ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE it tasted so good! First time having Panda, and it was mind-blowing, it was so smooth and it melted in my mouth. Excellent, fast service and I will DEFINITELY be coming back when I can! read more

I'm not usually a huge fan of Panda Express but after leaving a nice restaraunt in the Portland area sadly dissapointed, we wanted a quick meal that wasn't McD's or similar. Even coming here 20 minutes before closing, we were served without any belly-aching and we had large portioned meals that were hot and delicious and $6.25 each. Jessica was the person helping us and she was awesome, even at the end of her day! Chatted it up about the holiday and she was more than willing to give great customer service. Although I am fond of Panda Express, it is very frustrating to keep track of their closing times through the week. Typically open later on Friday and Saturday (10:30), getting your favorite entree is about as likely as getting a hole in one or getting all 6 numbers on a single lottery ticket. Come on Kevin! Kung Pao and Orange Chicken with Bacon should be available at 10:09 and if it's not, consider a comp coupon to ensure a future visit. Went in after 12 noon. As usual, out of Teryaki Chicken. Was told it would at least be 5 or more minute wait. Ended up getting Shanghai Steak for an additional $1.25. Maybe got 3 or 4 measly pieces of sreak. $7.25!!! What a ripoff. Prior to this, went in at 10:30 one day, tneir posted opening hours. They may have had 2 or 3 entree items ready...and not all the sides were done. I was told that it takes 1/2 for the grills to warm up. THEN WHY OPEN???? What a crappy way of running a business. Probably the least hygienic practices I've encountered in a fast food restaurant restaurant. The young woman filled two cups of teriyaki sauce with her bare hands and then placed them on top of the fried rice. Beforehand she had cut up two pieces of chicken and then put half in the to-go container and the other half back in the serving dish. I'm not likely to ever return to this location. Remembering this is sort of fast food and not a sit down hand made to order restaurant, it strikes that Panda is really good. The menu is so simple, it's actually hard to understand. They seem to encourage the 2 item plate. First you choose your side, with a friend rice or chowmein noodle being offered. It's on the menu, but you may not notice they also have white rice and large chunky vegetables. I like to alternate between noodles and veg. The sweet fire chicken breast is lovely, as is the newly added cashew chicken. I love the Honey Walnut Shrimp (at $1 more) as well. Strangley, hot or cold, the potstickers are also really good. If you are getting a 2 item plate, you can add a 3rd or even 4th entree for around $1.50, whereas if you just walked in and purchased that ala carte it would be over $3. Yes, you have to ask for chopsticks, but I think there's a safety thing if they are left on the napkin / drink bar. The food always just seems to be a few min old, the staff clean and friendly. I'd say they give excellent service anyway, but knowing they stand on cement all day over hot steam tables and deal with hundreds of customers a day and can't take tips, makes them exceptional. read more

This store continues to have management issues that seriously needs to be addressed. When I first arrived, the store was packed. Not many people seated, but a line almost at the door. Nobody greeted me, nor anyone else. So you wait in this line like you're at a food stamp office, and you're waiting for over 20 minutes while the workers nonchalantly (as slow as possible) prepare food for customers. Everything was a problem. Customers were complaining about the lack of options available, which was increasing the line and the wait time. While I wait, I take a picture of the menu saying "Tso Good," I photoshop it on my phone to say "Tso slow" and post it on twitter. This tells you how long I was waiting. When it was finally my turn, they didn't apologise about the wait, nor offer any compensation for the long wait time. She asked what I wanted, and I said "I'd like a two entree plate of half chow mein, half white rice, orange chicken and broccoli beef." Then she gave me that glaring look like "Oh sh*t we're out of chow mein." She huffed and puffed, and told me with utter regret "we're out, it'll be 6 minutes." I then got furious. I demanded that she either comp my meal, or give me a free entree. I've already waited over 20 minutes, and now you want me to wait an additional 6, plus the line ahead of me to the register? I felt it deserved a free entree. She refused. Then I got really angry, but of course calm and beyond reproach. I asked to speak to a manager. No manager was available and I was told to call in the next day. They have defied the rules of good food service at this point. No greeting, insanely long line, barely any food (yes, all the food containers were almost empty), failure to provide a manager when asked, and now they want me to wait longer. You'd think this is a chinese shack that's falling apart in the bronx, and not a national fast food chain. You'd also think that after all this, the food would at least be halfway normal. NOPE! Of course not. I come home with my food to find that the broccoli wasn't cooked all the way, and the orange chicken was soggy. On top of all that, the icing on the cake was the fact that because they made me wait for the chow mein, they forgot to give me the white rice I asked for. So not only do I have a bad experience, but the food I paid for was not as expected, nor requested. No management to fix it, and no management to help the new employees. It's just a big cluster f*ck that nobody can get a grip on. I'm a regular customer, and feel that with the business I provide your establishment that I should be treated better. I should be greeted at the door, the tables should be clean, the line should be flowing, there should be food in the containers, there should be a manager on site, the shift leader should be helping the team run efficiently and help customers that are frustrated. Of course the food should be fresh, and not partially uncooked. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Panda Express, and it's definitely not the first memorable terrible experience. Your managers should be ashamed, and you should be leading your team better if you want to be more successful. Next time I'll probably just go to the south salem location by the airport, or maybe I'll save the gas and money and not to business with this company again. Who knows. Service was good. They were open early, but I still didn't walk in until 10:30. They didn't ask me if I wanted a drink though and there were 13 dishes not even made so I had to wait 15-20 minutes for half my order. I now understand why this is the worst rated Panda Express. Worst drive thru ever. I was on a break from work and decided to go get food seeing as how there was no cars in drive thru. I ordered a bowl with noodles. After getting charged they ignored me at the window for a good 5 min. The girl in drive thru was just pouring drinks the whole time. I honked to get her attention and asked where my bowl was. Only then, did she say they were waiting for noodles to finish cooking and would be a few more minutes. She never once asked if I wanted to wait for them. Which I didn't because like I said before, I was just on a break. Not lunch. I told her that next time she needs to let people know there is gonna be a wait and not just ignore them. She seemed bothered by that comment and didn't even apologize. When she was finally making my bowl, I saw her just standing behind 2 employees waiting for one of them to move. Instead of walking around them to get the orange chicken. They need better staff at the drive thru, or they need to retrain those idiots. read more

If I could give zero stars right now I would. I showed up to your location and asked what was gluten-free and the cook and the girl at the window told me everything on your menu is gluten-free. Which obviously I'm not stupid enough to reach your menu and believe that. I asked her to clarify if the items I was about to order were all gluten-free and she said yes. Finally I went to your website and none of the items except for the rice were gluten-free. This food was for my two-year-old son. If you would've eaten this food prior to me doing my research before I fed it to him he would've got sick and I would've sued. Finally I'm assuming the manager is who came to give me my money and tell me that the only thing was gluten-free and gave me a refund and the way he was telling me was as if I was the idiot for ordering food at your place of business.
