5/5 at this specific location for opening late hour: daily at 10:30 pm for dine in and 11:00 pm for drive through. It conveniently located in the Keizer Station which easy access from I-5 both North and South bounds. For those not familiar with Salem/Keizer/Oregon area, the Keizer Station is the newest shopping hub for both Salem and Keizer because downtown Salem is pretty dried out after major stores closed their doors such as Meier & Frank and Nordstrom to name a few. Lancaster Mall did it best to revive itself by changing its name to Willamette Town Center within the past year or so, yet still failed to fully occupied and brought it back to life. 4/5 for consistency and mastered of the grilled chicken teriyaki; this spoken volume since I'm not a fan of teriyaki of any kind. You'd be safe and satisfied with an order of bowl with super green/chow mein/fried rice/steamed rice/brown rice as a side and chicken teriyaki since it's almost often the freshest option out of the whole menu. This is my go to order via drive through now that I no longer live in the area. I ordered online and arrived 10 minutes AFTER my order was supposed to be ready. The employees were so busy as the line was to the door. There were 10 people in front of me who were ordering at the restaurant and all of whom were given their food before my order was even ready. I spent about 12-15 minutes waiting for an online order that was supposed to be ready prior. About 20 customers were assisted quickly before I was given my online order and to top it off, the food was just bland. No seasoning, chicken was bland, honey walnut shrimp were soggy and chewy, gross. Overall this was a disappointing experience, and yes I understand that the employees were very busy but priorities should be followed and quality should still be assured. read more

We all know Panda Express as the place where you can get your food with consistent taste and customer service no matter what, and they Rock through that line in the drive-through with ease. But this location needs some serious work. The line was moving fairly consistent and when we ordered our food which was simple to entrée bowl, nothing crazy asked for chow mein and power greens. The gentleman at the drive-through taking order said sorry we don't have the ingredients for power greens anything else?? and then I asked for the kung pow steak he said I'm sorry we don't have any steak right now, but we could cook it for you, but it will take 10 to 12 minutes. Are you willing to wait? I said how about the teriyaki chicken he said we can cook the teriyaki chicken but it will take seven minutes are you willing to wait? I said sure we can wait once we went up to the window to pay the same gentleman came up to the window and said I'm sorry we don't have the steak nor the chicken. Do you want anything else?..... please note the gentleman was so loaded that he could barely see me ... I am OK with a little smoke from time to time but man said that bad boy aside when you're at work... we decided to drive away and not order anything at all. This place is usually good. But tonight was awful. First we come in around 9:30pm. The doors state the lobby's open until 11:30pm. The front doors are locked we are standing there looking at about 5 people (employees) who are just staring at us confused. We finally realize for whatever reason we need to use the side doors. When we come in we aren't greeted or acknowledged. We're standing there for about 5 minutes before a girl comes over disgruntled and asks what we need. We go over our order, she's confused & confusing us at this point. We asked for an additional side which we stated we'd paid extra for. She then proceeded to dump the rice she already plated back into the vat. We are confused and a little grossed out. She then proceeds to check us out with no customer service. Look we understand it's Friday night & yall are kids who probably want to get off work but you're being paid to do a job so do it. Asked for Broccoli beef and got broccoli with beef sauce on it. Lucio at the counter threw my food at me(literally) and didn't charge my whole group for drinks or upcharges on premium entrees. Im cool with getting free stuff but Im not sure the manager wouldn't be ok with that. They also mixed all of our food up somehow so we all ended up eating someone elses food till we realized. Have ordered online takeout meals several times and they have been stolen, making us wait until it's remade and they have done nothing to prevent it. First time in years we have eaten at Panda Exp. This location caters to drive through diners, I went inside to place an order. They had 1 person to help inside customers, two or three to help drive through. The guys doing drive through have first pick on serving food over inside server, these guys twice, jumped in front of my helper, taking the last of anything I was eying. They slopped food on that plate so fast as well as all over the place, just because the drive through customer can't see? I did, I thing they do a better job serving food in prison . We stopped for dinner last night. We ordered two bowls of the same--Orange Chicken with fried rice. We also ordered a plate with Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef and white rice. The plate was 2/3 rice. The Orange Chicken on the plate had NO spice whatsoever. The broccoli beef consisted of ALL broccoli with THREE TINY pieces of beef (I actually had to poke around to find them!). My husband said the Orange Chicken in his bowl had no spice as well. It will be awhile--if at all--before we purchase a meal here again. :( read more

It's Panda Express. Not a nice sit down and eat restaurant. That being said, there's some things that this specific location lacks. First is expedient service. When you're on a lunch break, you would rather not have the whole thing taken up by a single order. This happened today and it was disappointing since this specific location is down the street from my job, and easy to get to within my timeframe allowed. Secondly is accurately described items for consumption. The Sichuan chicken (which is supposed to be spicy was lackluster for the best word) and the orange chicken which is supposed to be sweet, was so spicy I couldn't bear it. Thirdly is appropriate actions, if someone had to wait for longer than 25 minutes for food, an appropriate apology, or something for the inconveniences should be offered, or the customer will feel uncared for and won't return. I appreciate your efforts, usually we love going to Pandas - but it really needs to be stepped up in this specific location. read more

I got a medium sized bowl of half fried rice, half chow menu and steamed vegetables. The food was okay, and very inexpensive. They have a lot of entrees available, but steamed vegatbles is the only one without meat. (They have a few vegetarian sides such as the chow mein, egg fried rice, spring rolls and some sort of rangoon. This place is very popular, there's always been a lot of people when I am there. The staff is very friendly and they ask you to donate 25 cents to Dornbecker Children's Hospital. If you do, they ring a bell and they all say thank you.
