Worst customer service. Do not use the app to order online! I've had three too many bad experiences. Third time was the last straw. I've never been treated so badly, I got hung up on three times!!! Never did I use any foul language or raise my voice with them on the phone when I called about my messed up order, I only mentioned that they were providing bad customer service because they refused to own up to their mistakes and insisted on blaming the delivery company... so they hang up! I will never come back here. It only makes sense to make sure the whole order is in the bag, and is sealed and secure before delivery. Especially with our current pandemic situation. We go here all of the time, the food is good and most time the people working there are nice. Having said that, they mess up our order all the time, and have completely forgotten about my order no less than 3 times, once in the drive through we waited for about 45 minutes and then I noticed it looked like they were locking up for the night & we had to knock on the door. I always let this slide because they are always crazy busy when I go in there and I remember years ago working at McDonald's and how things can get crazy. Tonight we ordered using the app which we have done many times before, and as usual when we got there they were packed and had not even started our order. But then they completely ignored us, then when they asked if we were waiting for something they put our receipt on a tray & helped several waves of customers without even starting our order, people came, ordered, ate and left while we waited. This Location is the worst restaurant I've ever been to! I went through the drive through and the people at the window were bullshitting with each about some stupid car. And he didn't give me my credit card back, I realized it about an hour later and the people on the phone and the new people at the window seemed disgruntled because I was upset that my credit card sat God knows where probably written down 5 or 6 times. We've been here three times now in the last two weeks and every time it has been soooo good! I hated Panda Express before a couple weeks ago! And now I want it all the time. Unfortunately when I got my food, there was a long strand of hair right on top. As seen in the photo. Disgusting. Where to start... this was the SECOND time I went thru the drive-thru and had to wait 20 min for my food!!!! Needless to say, I will NEVER GO BACK!!! When I ordered, they said the orange chicken would be 5-12 min, and I said I'd wait. When I got to the window, after i paid, they said the fried rice wasn't ready. I asked how much longer AND explained that last time they said that it took 20 min to get my food AND I had to go inside to get it, defeating the point of using drive-thru! She told me 5 min. So I parked along with another car that was 1 car behind me. After 7 min the lady who parked next to me (who was pregnant AND had a small child with her) and I both went inside to see what was going on. She got her food before me and then I was informed that they gave my order to someone else by mistake! So now I had to wait a little bit while they repackaged my order. Well, after a few more minutes they informed me that it would be 5 more min because they were out of cream cheese ragoons. So, EVERY ITEM I ORDERED WAS NOT READY!!! Finally when I got my order, a little after 20 min, we had to rush home so my sisters boyfriend wouldn't be late for work and he didn't have time to eat. All I got was a "sorry for that..." from one employee while 3 of them huddled by the drive-thru window talking among themselves. They gave me a coupon that expired TWO YEARS AGO! And my ragoons that weren't ready, well they were burned to a crisp! This is beyond unexceptable!!! And am so dissapointed in every aspect; wait time, customer service, food quality, etc! Well. okay. It's a Panda Express. Which is dear husband's favorite fast food stop. And we haven't been to one in over a year. Honestly, the best thing about PE is the veggies you can get under whatever dish you select (as opposed to a landslide of fried rice, or a mountain of noodles.) The veggies are almost always crisp and unseasoned -- making them the perfect carrier for whatever sauce your main dish comes in/with. And he -l o v e s- the chicken. Any chicken. okay. fine. there 's no MSG, so I'm safe. And there are plenty of dishes in savory (not syrupy) sauces. My only complaint was that my food was cold almost before I made it to the table. If I'd stopped for a drink at the drink/napkin bar, I'm guessing not one bite would have been warm. It LOOKS hot when they dish it up in the mess-hall cafeteria line -- but it goes onto a paper plate that sits on your tray while they ring-up your whole group, then wait to pay. If you stop for some kind of sauce or eating utensil -- the food is cold. And I really hate cold food that's supposed to be eaten while it's hot. I really don't mind fast food occasionally. I do mind cold food. I'd rather just not eat at all. read more

I'll do my part to pull the ratings down on this Panda Express. My kids love the orange chicken at Panda. Something was off about the orange chicken today, but that's what my daughter ordered. I order string bean chicken a la carte (it works for me and my low carb diet). It was old, and gave me problems in less than an hour. Dirty tables. Dirty bathrooms. No napkins (a casual "give me a couple of minutes" when I asked the cashier for some). Unfriendly. Is it the location? I go to West Salem and Mission St and it's never been so memorably bad. I think there might have been a contest as to who could avoid eye contact with me the longest: no one was helping me. Jesus finally came out of nowhere. Makes it very frustrating when you try to order, a side or entree, and you're told-"sorry we just ran out.". The person seemed friendly so they got one star. This stores costumers are just a bunch of privileged white people who complain about any little imperfections in their food, the waiting in the line, and are always disrespectful towards the staff. The fact that adult men and women cuss out the teens and college kids working here just comes to show that they have never worked for anything and all was given to them. If you wanna raise your voice at a someone who's working minimum wage maybe you should put yourself in their shoes and realize not everybody has everything handed down to them. My Sweetheart and I went here on date night, and actually, we have eaten here before. This last visit was so nice. The service was outstanding and while we were eating, the Store Manager came around to guest tables to see how things were and how the food was. That was a new move by the chain. It was nice and very refreshing to have that kind of attention to service. I would highly recommend this property to all my family and friends. Yes, we will be back. :) read more

We normally enjoy Panda Express, but this experience was frustrating and disappointing. I understand Covid-limitations, but I don't understand why they can't deliver a parked drive-thru order to the car when everyone else around is doing so. There are very few non-spicy options for kids meals and they charge extra for bottled water, Powerade, and orange juice. One of the entrees I ordered was still cooking so it would take an extra 4 minutes. Not a problem. We like fresh food. They parked me and then told me I would have to walk up to the side door to get my order. That means unbuckling my kids, putting masks on, and exposing everyone to more people. Lastly, after the limited kids options of food and drink, they told us they were out of cookies that come with the meal with no offer to substitute or compensate us for the loss. I'm giving two stars because the food tastes good and the adult entrees were correct. Way too expensive for the experience. read more

This store has very polite, attentive, accommodating , and friendly employees. I think the location has them on their toes with the high amount of traffic they get but they still handle it well getting to everyone quickly! Very clean, everyone masked and gloved, overall great! read more

I waited in the drive through line for about 30 minutes. The service was direct and to the point with little personality. When I received my food we stopped nearby to eat before traveling on. I paid extra to have the Angus steak. My bowl was filled with rice and only s thin layer of steak barely covering the top. Although the food was decent I feel extremely cheated. Decided to try the mobile ordering and pickup so we didn't have to sit in the long drive thru line with hangry kids. Placed the order no problem, but when we arrived to pickup at the time the food would be ready, no one acknowledged us in the pickup line. Well, the reviews were pretty bad but it was getting late and our options were pretty slim. We took a chance. The funny part is, the food wasn't bad. Actually, it was better than I had remembered it ever being there. The service? Horrible. The lady that helped us was so rude and impatient. She never even smiled. She didn't give us any sweet and sour with our fried cream cheese things (a little too fried). When I asked for soy sauce she just pointed to where they were supposed to be and walked off but they weren't there and that's why I was asking. We go to Panda Express fairly often. I was a little disappointed in this one though. The service was odd - they had us order different from any other PE I've been to - so it was confusing. They were out of a bunch of stuff too, so we had to wait a few minutes. That was rather confusing too, as they were not clear on how long it would be, whether we should pay and then sit or just wait. It was not particularly busy either, so I'm not sure why they had run out of so many things - coincidence maybe?? The kung pao chicken tasted pretty normal, but my son always gets the walnut shrimp with white rice. I'm not sure if they've changed the recipe everywhere, or if it was just here, but it tasted super mustardy. I've never noticed mustard in this before - usually, it's just sweet and gooey, and it was not very sweet and had too much dijon type mustard (you could actually see the mustard dots in it). We come to Salem/Keizer for swim meets and soccer games a few times a year. Unfortunately, we have not found any place worth eating at in this area, so we may eat here again when forced to, but I wasn't really a fan. read more

After the crappy treatment I received at Taco Del Mar, I came over to the Panda to see if I could finally get some dinner without having to be screamed at. Panda did not disappoint! Everything inside was very clean...no trash or dirty tables or dirty trays. They had just cooked up a batch of fresh everything so it smelled REAL good walking in!!! Yum!! I was served promptly and with a smile by a guy named...are you ready for this... "Angel". I asked him if that was his real name and he said "yes" and then we had a nice convo about our names. Angel piled the food on my plate and gave me my extra sauce and fortune cookies and did it all cheerfully and graciously. Somehow I managed to get my appetite back and was able to finally actually enjoy dinner with my husband. I'll definitely be back when I am in the area. :) read more

I have been to many Panda Express' and this one has to be my least favorite. About a year back this one was amazing and would always get your order right but recently their vegetables have been under cooked and not cut properly, their serving sizes have gone down, and the food always seems to be old and cold. The food is " Panda fast food Chinese " quality as always, so can't knock that so much. The manager seemed to be running a sweat shop in there on a Friday night. When the young worker turned to ask him a question he, without emotion or care, turned to the worker and said, " I don't care, it's busy and you can't go home".. Holy crap! Seriously? The kid was like 17 years old and it was 10:15 PM. He then turned and told another young female worker to move and put food into a to go box and walked it out to a waiting car. Another young female worker was on her break sitting by the window when I was getting my drink and I said, "late dinner".. To which she replied, " yeah, finally after 6 hours of work!
