I don't know how to react to this place, I call the store because we were missing from the drive thru order 4 bean burritos and our receipt, was told I would get a call back, I never did and when I called back later to settle the matter after work I was asked to call back only to be routed to the fax machine..I never write a bad review but then again I've never been treated with such a rude demeanor from a taco bell before in my life. *UPDATE* Espy and the rest of the lovely ladies on the night crew made me four fresh bean burritos and hooked it up with a ton of mild sauce This place aight, I fkks wit them

Come to this taco hungry... left DISAPPOINTED!!! First my quesadilla was nothing but an Unmelted sad little thing. My taco was falling apart like it got beat up!! My chalupa was all tomato with a dash of meat with their stingy asses! This was not their best night. Now I didn't bye this my co worker did and I just feel so bad cause they are essential works and they work hard for their money to be wasted here.. GET IT TOGETHER TACO BELL GET IT TOGET

Half empty cheese. .

Still love the $1 menu. New Blue Raspberry and Midnight Blue freeze drinks are pretty good. Same goes for Nacho Fries.

I ordered 3 spicy potato soft tacos. Only 1 had the sauce that makes it spicy on just half of it.

This is by far the SLOWEST Taco Bell on the planet. Terrible! Waited 17 minutes in line tonight.

He is very kind. It is obvious he puts care into having his meat ready to cook and marinated and seasoned greatly. They are seasoned so well that we just added some lime and didn't even get to try the salsa. The tripa is perfectly crunchy and soft and has great flavor. The chicharrón is soft and so delicious. Will be back and they're open until like 5am!!!

(#1) For years when this taco cart operated along Portland Road (#2) it was low on the radar but known in the community. Fast forward a few years, it's not quite a brick & mortar, but a space for patrons to sit inside to enjoy their food while everything is cooked outside on a cart. The format isn't for everyone (#3), but it's right up my alley. Beyond the colorful murals along the interior and spacious seating, this is still very much a dive. The place is open typically at night and the cloud of grease that permeates the room from all the fatty meats being grilled up. The ventilation is questionable and the seating (fold up chairs and plastic tables) is hardly glamorous. I don't know if I'd have it any other way. For some folks, seeing certain taco meats sitting in a pool of lard / fat / questionable liquid might be an eyesore but once the grilling begins it's a new ballgame. I enjoy almost all the meats, whether it's their famous al pastor sitting on a tromp with a pineapple on top, or their variety of cecina, carnitas, cabeza (cheek, mainly), barbacoa, and asada. There's no guarantee of what they'll have on any given night, so I'm usually good with whatever they have available. The charred grill is also the same place for their tortillas, which are also fried in said lard, and give off this smokiness that might not be everyone's cup of tea. I think their barbacoa, which is chivo (#4) style, is really the best thing they have. The meat is incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It completely encapsulates their namesake in "ricos tacos" as one of their signature items. As always, it is cash only and speaking Spanish is a must. I'm not saying it's the best taqueria in the city, but for late night eats, it's certainly one of ones to beat. __________ (#1) Aka "The Godfather" (#2) Twas another time: https://www.yelp.com/biz/taqueria-el-padrino-salem (#3) Real talk: Most folks in Salem will likely never go to a place like this. That's really too bad. (#4) Goat, my amigos.

While La Carreta de Mi Tierra (#1) has been quietly blowing up the taco street scene in Salem, just…read moreacross the street lies Los Pinos, an older, more traditional taco truck where tastiness and authenticity go hand in hand. Some would say this is the best street taco experience in the city, which is hard to argue, especially when the tacos are this good. Their tacos are around $1.50-$2.00 each, which beat the competition in terms of pricing but I trust this price will catapult in a very short time. Their version of carnitas are stewed and fried to perfection and their lengua / al pastor is fantastic. When available, their fish tacos are worth every dime, though they are a $1 more. It's not all tacos, they also serve a decent variety of burritos, quesadillas, and tortas. They're very good about stuffing every morsel of food into the tortilla / bread, which is abundant in its own right. Do not forget to use as much of their condiments to really enhance the flavor. Thankfully, it's never too busy here and the staff is super friendly. The last time I checked they were still cash only and parking is extremely limited. They've done well to attract a lot of local clientele, many of whom visit the truck during the late hours into the evening. There is some seating with these makeshift tables, but I prefer to take my food to go. When it comes to Los Pinos and their wonderful variety of street inspired food, everyone wins. _________________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz/la-carreta-de-mi-tierra-salem

After all the previous good reviews I had to try Los Pinos today. My bf ordered four tacos (two…read morechicken and two tacos de lengua). The guy who took our order and put everything together was really nice and patiently listened to how we wanted the tacos and burritos - no beans, etc. First bite was close your eyes good. There is some kind of salsa poured over the tacos that made their deliciousness more delicious. Lots of cilantro and onion and almost like a gravy. Then there was the burrito. Oh man it was so good! We tore it apart in greed and burrito lust and panted in shame afterwards. But not so much shame that we didn't plot to return next week.
