food was good, hot, and was ready at the time i put the online order in. however the chow fun had a lot of cabbage, almost 50% of it was cabbage. sadly. too much cabbage. we had this same issue the last time we came to this panda and it seems like it is still the same.

The customer service today was excellent even though they looked short-handed. The lady who assisted me was pleasant ib every way ! Oh yea and their food is consistently good here !

Beef and broccoli and hot and sour soup

Came here because I didn't feel like cooking. I started with the hot and sour soup. Tofu and mushrooms , with a hardy broth made it very good. I asked for a taste to make sure it wasn't going to be too hot. The beef and broccoli was delicious. The service was great and the good part it was within walking distance. If you need to drive, plenty of off street parking.

Chili Shrimp was plenty. Made a fresh batch.

Entrees was good. Chili shrimp was low so they made a fresh batch. Service is up to par. Chow Mein had more vegetables than noodles

I love eating at Panda Express. It's fast and quick Chinese food that's premade and ready to order once you get in line. My all time favorite is mushroom chicken. I got the kids meal size which seemed like enough. It comes with a small drink and a chocolate chip cookie. My food was pretty good. If you plan on dining in, you must show your vaccination card along with identification. I always carry it with me just in case we dine in anywhere. The lady at the register was super nice and helpful. We upgraded our drinks to a regular size. There's limited amount of seating inside but there were tables within the mall as well to sit down. Location was clean and I would definitely come back for other dishes here. Located inside the mall.

Breaks my heart, Panda Express has been my spot; but today my orange chicken was more raw and riggly than shmeagles cave fish. I typically keep my karrenness behind the safety of my phone keyboard, as I don't have the bravery to complain in person; but I tried to call to warn them that the batch of orange chicken should be thrown out but they didn't answer ‍ To my Kailuafornian Panda Express comrades: stay close to a toilet today

I wrote a complaint last night about finding a larva in my dinner. I left my contact info and expected a call today. It seems my concern was so common OR no one cares that no one called me back today. Really?!

Super impressed with Hawaii's latest Panda Express location in Kailua. Clean, modern, and the employees are ultra friendly. The quality of the food is top notch and portions are generous. I hope they continue to uphold the quality and consistency that Panda Express is known for. Great for dining in or take out. The only thing I don't like about this location is the parking lot (crazy busy since it's around the corner from Safeway and other eateries such as Subway and Ninja Sushi), but that's not PE's fault. Don't forget to save your receipt and fill out their survey online to get a free entree item with purchase of a 2-entree plate.

Very disappointing. Food was disgusting. Chow fun nasty, orange chicken was all dough and not a "Panda" orange chicken and the soggy over cooked green beans and chix that had so much sauce it made everything taste like it! If you are open till 9pm and someone orders at 7:45pm, then keep making fresh food when ordered. Crossing off the list. Auwe!!

My friend Gary T. digs da Chinese cuisine, so for pau hana Friday I decided to take my friend to Yen Yen Chinese Cuisine in the Kailua/Enchanted Lakes neighborhood. Yen Yen Chinese Cuisine is tucked away in a small strip mall, and the restaurant is kinda next door to the Safeway Supermarket. The restaurant reminds me of those old skool Chop Suey houses I used to go to when I was kid. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted & seated right away. Shortly afterwards, menus, hot tea, & water were dropped off at our table. While looking over the menu, we decided to get a fix meal for two ($59.00) which comprises of Egg Drop Soup, Fried Rice, Shrimp with Vegetables, & Spicy Eggplant with Pork. We also we ordered a separate dish of Shrimp Canton ($15.95) to add to our meal. What can I say about the grub? I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty our Chinese dishes were, as well as the generous portions of food. Easily a 5 star foodie experience, and I would be more than happy to come back to Yen Yen Chinese Cuisine try more new items.

Find Yen Yen in the Enchanted Lake Shopping Center, where Safeway, Ben Franklin, and McDonald's are located. Really savored the seaweed soup that felt so comforting and nourishing, especially given the windy and rainy weather conditions. Fish with green onion, chicken with black mushroom, shrimp with snow peas, and mixed vegetables were also enjoyable. Many customers echoed their gratitude for Yen Yen being open during the inclement weather and outage.

From the outside, it looks like any ol' storefront, but when you walk in, you have the counters where you can order for takeout, and to the left, you have tables for dining in. Sadly, they don't have the ladies pushing the dim sum carts around, but the service was fast! My husband and I ordered the typical dim sum items- shumai, har gow, rice rolls, wonton noodle soup, taro cake, and every table was gifted egg tarts! To our surprise, everything was made fresh and came out hot- the shrimps in the rice rolls and har gow were huge, and the shumai was about a little bigger than golf balls! My husband's eyes were huge when he saw them, and his immediate words were "omg, did we get a double order or is this one order?!" The shumai and har gow were nice and juicy when you bite into them, and the wontons were definitely made in-house by someone in the back. When you make a lot of wontons, you know that look that shows it was handmade! The rice rolls were delicious with the sweet soy sauce, the wonton noodle soup was delicious, and the taro cake reminded me of how my grandma used to make them. All in all, this is going to be a spot we visit again, and before heading out to the beach. So delicious, so fresh and just hits the spot!

There's a small parking lot in front, that's kind of odd but at least there's parking. The dining room is very old school. I let my cousin order everything since she's been here before. I really liked the spicy wontons. The chicken chow fun was good. The cold ginger chicken was delicious! The sweet and sour beef was good, and I really liked the walnut shrimp. Overall, the food was really good! Now the service was odd. The older woman was not very friendly. Just took the order and dropped the food down when it was ready. I don't think she wanted to give me chopsticks, even though I asked for both. Maybe she was tired. Again, this is a locals spot and the food is good.

I go there once a month to buy food to take to my mom, who lives in a foster care home. It's usually egg flower soup, stuffed tofu with pork, beef chow mein or shrimp fried rice and sometimes a chicken dish. I order online, usually at 9am, for pick-up at 10:30. The staff are nice and friendly, which isn't always the case at a Chinese restaurant. BTW, don't place an online order too early; they might miss it. On a rare occasion, I would add a dinner plate for myself. It's on par with one I get from Golden Duck on King St. I prefer the food at K***** on the other side of Kaneohe but I much prefer the parking at New Mui Kwai. Plus, it's much closer to my home and more convenient when visiting my mom. New Mui Kwai is a solid, old school Chinese restaurant. I'll keep coming back so I suppose that's a recommendation from me. Sorry, no pics ... A picture of a box containing food containers would be boring. :p
