Most Disappointing Chinese food. Not the worst, I'll grant, though the spring roll did max out the Yuck scale (I have never before not finished a spring roll solely for the taste.) Orange chicken: Bland (and not well appreciated by my iron stomach.) Beef broccoli: Overcooked Fried rice: Great, though I lucked out and got it fresh off the wok. Price:portion - Meh, about average. Of all of the Panda Express chains I have ever tried (from Kihei, Maui, to Las Vegas, NV and now here in the Phoenix area), this one tops them all. Staff is always nice (which is an added bonus when you get that in any of these types of non tipping establishments) and the food is always good. They seemed to have beefed up their beef in the their beef and broccoli (but that could just be a coincidence/luck of the draw, whatever...you know what i mean). Did you ever notice it isn't actually called beef and broccoli, but rather broccoli beef? haha. This is the second time I've ordered from this location and had a gnarly piece of plastic in my food. So gross!

Definitely one of the better locations. Service is fast & friendly, food seems to taste better....used to have a nice outdoor seating option but that wasn't there recently. Without it, better to just take out due to limited seating inside, especially during busy times. read more

First time I have ever been here....since moving from out of state I have had a hard time finding a place with Chinese food that I like. Not only did everything I ordered taste great....the chicken that I got (orange chicken and Kung pao chicken) were both spicy...which I love! Lo mein was also fabulous. I watched the person who must be a manager or owner sneeze and cough without covering her mouth in front of the food. Yuck! Several times before this one they are not ready and only a couple items are cooked. It is a clean restaurant but after seeing the total lack of sanitary practices, I might advise you choose another location. read more

Showed up here the other night, as well as a few other guest looking to pick up food 45 minutes before closing and the door was locked. Thought Panda closed at 10pm? Ended up having to drive to the one on Bell, as they were still open and serving food. read more

There was no green bean chicken when I arrived, and they happily offered to whip up a batch in 5 min. And then offered me a cup to have something to drink while I waited! I also was offered a taste of Peking pork, which we made 1 of our entrees. All 6 entrees we ordered were delicious. read more

The food is decent and most of the employees are kind but one specific person, Selene was very rude. She would look and respond to me like I was dumb. This particular location is my go-to location for Panda Express. I have visited it many times over the years, almost for the entire time that this location has existed. Out of all of the ones in the Valley, I think this one is the most consistent when it comes to the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. What made the visit great is, I was greeted right away. I was asked if I wanted to try any samples of anything. The staff used courtesy phrases like, "Please" and "Thank You" while addressing me and other customers while I was there. Plus the food was delicious. Through the years I have eaten their fried rice, white rice and their chow mein. This location has the best rice that I ever have out anyplace. I would state that for their white rice and their fried rice. The rice is always done perfectly. I have never had it in which a few kernels of rice are not cooked, or are stuck together or anything like that. I am mainly a chicken eater when I eat meat, and a seafood eater, so I have had virtually any of their dishes involving that. My favorite is their Honey Walnut Shrimp, which is a little more than a lot of their entrees, but it is worth the extra money if you love shrimp. Another favorite of mine is their Crab Ragoon. The crab ragoon at this location is usually done just right. It's not overly crisp. The cream cheese filling is not oozing out all over the place. It has just the right amount of filling every time I have had it. Another staple I get is their Steamed Mixed Vegetables. My only thing that I ever have to do period at this location is ask them not to give me as much cabbage as the other vegetables because they will give a lot of cabbage otherwise, and I eat the dish for the broccoli and carrots mostly. Early on in visiting this location, when I was still consuming some beef, I would eat their Beef Broccoli, which was very good. I have family members who still eat it and they still love it. They order it all the time. Their egg rolls are usually quite good with the right amount of filling in them. I would recommend this particular location to anyone who wants fast food but wants something that is more like a meal than just a quick bite to eat. This location is always clean. The staff is always friendly and the traditional Chinese music they play is soothing and relaxing. read more

I visited here about a month ago and was enjoying my food until I had a piece of the sweet and fire chicken breast that literally tasted like it was dipped in the toilet. I threw up and couldn't finish my food. I haven't been to a Panda Express since. Hopefully one day! That chicken had to have been really old. I've been eating here for 6 years and never that that problem. It is great to see the staff and have them recognize me , unfortunately this ruined the meat for me. read more

Solid place for lunch. All the familiar panda items are here. And if you stay away from the orange chicken it can actually be pretty healthy. Just make sure to come in around noon or another high volume time or else the items will have been sitting around for a while getting cold/stale. read more

This is definitely my favorite Panda Express and my favorite fast food restaurant in general. The staff is really friendly and engages with us more than just asking what entree we want. The food taste great and is always fresh. The store is very clean, and the employees always make sure to pick up trash left on tables by customers so that there are plenty of places to chose from to enjoy their food. I honestly don't even know how people say "best staff" this Panda is pathetic I've came here for the past years and lately wow has it been bad. I've seen a couple of new faces and I've seen this lady that works there but I've seen her at different places she's the worst out of them all. I came at 9:30 with 30 minutes left yeah it was kinda late but you can't pull that as a major excuse my parents own a restaurant and you don't see us doing this. I brought 6 people with me not including me and we all got the worst service with them they gave us the death look and they weren't even responding do us just speaking in there language. We see that everything is gone literally everything and they didn't even manage to say we'll make new stuff or anything we just started laughing and we just ended up eating the trash that they gave us. This location is very well run. The food is always fresh and the service is very good. The restaurant is clean and everyone is friendly. We tried the peaking pork and it was very good. Might me a new favorite. It has a great tangy flavor. If you like orange chicken you might try the peaking pork. read more

Everything was great till we got to the front of the line. Chloes face was breath takingly angry. Not even trying to throw shade. She managed showing no emotion at all to a new level. She passed us on to the nice lady but then pulled a switcheroo and cashed us out. She practically grunted when my friend asked for a water cup. Since the food was great and this girl was so negatively horrible I'll go back for the entertainment. She gave my friend and I something to laugh about for like ten minutes. The worst Panda Express ever. My wife ordered beef and broccoli to go and out of the whole plate I couldn't find just 3 small pieces of beef. I thought the name is beef and broccoli not broccoli with a bit of beef. Would not recommend to anyone that dish unless you are vegetarian, and vegetarians don't worry , there is no meat in your dish even if the name is beef. read more

I like being given a choice of rice/noodles/vegetables or a combination of 2. The turnover of dishes is fast at the time, so the food is hot and fresh. The vegetables are crispy, not limp and overcooked. The food is tasty too. read more
