Just want to say, big thank you to the Panda crew that worked the evening of February 2 about 7:30 in the evening. Ordered my food online, using the Panda app., with a ready time of 730. I arrived at 7:28 and the food was hot, packed, and ready to go. I received a friendly reception when I entered the door, the crew was busy but very friendly I'm sure you've read a lot of reviews on the panda app about this store. But remember folks, this is fast Chinese food, so yes there's gonna be some slips here and there, but overall at this store, the food is very good. It's not greasy and even though I have a panda express closer to me, I travel almost 10 miles to come to this store for the amazing service and quality food. So thank you panda crew for your excellent service and dedication to your craft. For a 5 Star rating you need to adjust the Chicken-Mushroom ratio on that entrée. I just walked out of the store after standing there with only one person being helped before me. I watched about five people working the food line and two others at the drive threw (oh and a manager) as I stood there I saw some guy get pushed in front of me because he was a regular and then the breaking point was when an employee came up to the one about to help me and said, "do you wanna go on break?" I'm not asking to be treated like a queen but common panda express...just a little customer service advice, have your people acknowledge customers that are standing in line "we will be right with you" Goes a long way. It was very busy, which I completely understand--but what wasn't acceptable was how the situation was handled. During a rush with customers both inside and in the drive-thru, the general manager (wearing a black shirt) stopped all service so employees could take photos. At that point, there were at least four people ahead of us, several behind us, and we were left waiting with no explanation. To make matters worse, the employee who had been helping the line walked away mid-order to go to the back and look at the photos, in full view of customers. This significantly delayed service, and we ended up waiting over 30 minutes just to be served and receive our food. The only positives from this visit were Alyssa and the young male cashier at the front--they were the only team members who seemed focused and professional. I've never had an experience like this at this location or any other. I understand how busy retail and food service can get, but this came down to poor management and a lack of prioritization during a rush. Overall, very disappointing. read more

The service at Panda Express on Williams Dr has employees that don't listen. Every time I go there they ask me if I want the sauces? I say no and I don't want the fortune cookie either. Every time they put sauces and fortune cookie in my bag. Yes I can just throw them away once I'm home but that's a waste. Why ask if you're not going to listen. Today I went again for dinner ordered one of my usual meals had reward to use and it cost me more than what I usually pay. Spoke to manager she wasn't very helpful at all. Didn't seem to care if they lose a customer. I drove away without order. Will never go back. I went around corner for dinner and got great customer service. There's another Panda Express 3.2 miles away will go there on way home. At least their people listen. Williams Dr store needs workers that care. In fact this same worker had put sauces and cookie in my bag last week. I tried to hand them back to her she just closes window and walks away. I honked my horn several times she just ignored me. We know this fast-food drill, Yelpers (and those who are new you'll get this soon). It is a chain and the food is good IF the service is there, the food quality is up to chain standards, service is fast and the restaurant is clean. It's so "easy" in concept but so hard to do. This Panda is really good. It appears to handle a good volume of people without ever making me wait. Servers on my visits there have been careful to make sure they understand my order correctly and I think that is important considering at Panda Express there is a blurred definition of entree and sides and volume when putting together plates/bowls/etc. (The egg rolls are an entree??). The food is what it is and it is the best and only fast food Chinese many have access to. This restaurant makes a great choice for tasty, fast-food Asian. read more

My boyfriend placed an online order here and when we came to pick up the order they said they didn't have it in their system. We showed our receipt and that it charged his card, but they still couldn't find it. After looking over the receipt carefully we realized that we placed the order at the wrong location. The manager, I believe her name was Lupe, called the other store and handled the entire order for us. Marie, I believe, was so kind and walked up to her our order. So I placed an online order. I got two entrees and rice. I was extremely hungry so I dug right in and I did not look too closely at my meal. I close the box when I had finished eating some of it and then when I opened it later. There was a cockroach in it and my car is very clean. I clean it out. Weekly. I called the restaurant with my concerns. You know just to let them know that there might be an issue on their side. I was not placing the blame it anyway and the lady who I spoke to was very dismissive. I've never seen a bug in my car beside the fly And now I'm worried about if it really did come from the restaurant. I was just calling to let them know sometimes people have a 30 minute drive home and they don't look too closely in the boxes which is the point that I was also trying to make to whoever I spoke to and I will be contacting the health department because as a person who is working in fast food, it's not uncommon And to place the bloom on the Customer is ridiculous. OK went to panda express today. Heading out on a family trip. Pulled up to panda express. They were not really busy. The parking lot was empty and no one was in the drive-through. We literally pulled up, first thing I said was can we please have some fresh orange chicken, and that. we didn't mind waiting. We just didn't want old food that was sitting for a while and sometimes that happens. That's why we usually eat inside. Unfortunately, we were not going to be able to do that this time. We left and got on the highway. Starting to open our food to eat, the string bean chicken had four pieces of chicken and soggy old green beans. The orange chicken was soggy and chewy. It was absolutely terrible; no way it was fresh. If we weren't stuck in traffic, we would've turned around but traffic was terrible. Made a phone call to panda to let them know (in a very civil voice not telling it in rude or loud way I just was simply telling them) that their food was not what we expected it to be. She immediately was defensive and ugly with me. Then argued and said that she made it fresh. She said that if you come back right now, I'll give you your money back in a very rude and not professional way. While that is not what we wanted, she was clearly trying not to accept her mistake. We will not be returning to this panda. We love Panda Express, especially my kids. Not how we wanted to start a family trip. Decent. I went through the drive-thru on a Sunday morning about opening time and got broccoli beef and orange chicken with chow mein. Service was relatively fast and people taking my order and getting my food were nice. As is always the case with Panda Express, their orange chicken was fantastic and the chow mein really hit the spot. My only complaint is that the ratio of beef to broccoli was astoundingly low. The beef I got was good, but I really only got a few of pieces of beef. Also, a large percentage of the broccoli I got was stems. The idea with broccoli beef is that it's cut close to the head so it's soft and easy to eat. This is all acceptable, but the way they advertise their broccoli beef is as a 50/50 ratio of broccoli to beef. I received closer to a 20/80 ratio. Acceptable restaurant, but just average. read more

The portions were good as is the pricing but the fried rice I ordered was cold a clumpy,(yesterdays rice?) The bejing beef was good but not at all spicy and the orange chicken was good. Do not go to this Panda Express poor service. I order 2 items with half and half now that you are not able to watch them make your order they put hardly any food. This places sucks now. They are so paranoid to the 10th degree it even makes the customer feel uncomfortable they have gone overboard and the food sucks. Response back: Every restaurant is social distancing. The way this Panda Express is doing it is way extreme you have made it way to complicated making people order outside on their phone to place an order is ridiculous. This makes customers feel uncomfortable and you are capitalizing on the fact that they can not see the food being prepared and your making the to go orders with hardly any food. I literally had about 3 spoon fulls of rice and 4 bite of noodles. This Panda Express use to be my favorite I would come at least once or twice a week. The chicken egg roll was disgusting. I have no idea what meat they used but it tasted like it was scraped from the bottom of a dumpster. Every time I try this place (which is about once every 3-4 months since I love panda but this location I always forget is NOT good) I end up either liking it enough to forget why I avoided it or the quality is literally inedible and I end up getting dangerously sick. The orange chicken is NEVER consistent at this location! I have gone to a different panda express and it is always consistent and then I come to this location and wonder why it is so horrifically terrible. Haven't visited here in a very long time. Just not convenient to where I work. I went in today to take advantage of an offer from my cell phone carrier. Panda Express is giving away free firecracker chicken with code. Well of course I just had to try it. It was a little sample box. Probably not what they use as an a-la-cart box. Most Panda Express is pretty great. This one suffers from unprofessional managing staff. Found a clump of hair in 1/3 plates we ordered to go. After driving home and finding the hair, we called the store and was told to bring in the food for replacement and a refund. Once I got back to the store they didn't have much food left because they were closing in 40 minutes. I was told that I wouldn't receive the refund as was told on the phone. I then said that I didn't want the food they have left and that I just wanted a refund, I was told I had no choice but to take what food they had left that night, or I can drive back a 3rd time tomorrow to speak with the manager and get a refund. I decided just to take the food and not eat here again. The manager was on the phone telling the nice women at the counter what to say. As the staff was getting the new food that I didn't even want, I asked her to be honest with me. I asked her if I was being unreasonable by being upset about the situation. She said that she would be upset as well and that the manager was being unreasonable. I was told that they had to keep the copy of my receipt as well to "complete the food exchange." I told them that it was completely unacceptable and illegal. They then offered to make a photocopy but refused to allow me to keep my original receipt. I got to drive back to the store while my family ate dinner. My sister and I just got back from college, and we couldn't even have our first dinner back together after being picked up at the airport. I am a waiter at a favorite burger joint down the road in Roundrock. I know what it's like to deal with difficult customers. I wasn't that. I was polite and just wanted to be treated fairly. I simply feel disrespected by this manager. I was to make it known that the staff in the store that night were all very understanding and friendly. Being told I can waste gas driving back a third time to get my $7 dollars back isn't good customer service. I really really like Panda Express, but unless this store changes something about this terrible customer service at this one location, I will not be eating here again. I love Panda Express. If you're looking for a quick, yummy Chinese meal to bring home, this place is for you. Their cream cheese rangoons are really good. I don't care for their spring rolls or egg rolls, they are lacking something. I LOVE their orange chicken & their lo mein noodles. Usually I get the Panda Bowl, it's a smaller portion (you pick one main entree and either rice or noodles). Or you can get a 2 or 3 main item meal with rice or noodles.
