It's a very sad day in Georgetown, TX for this Chick-Fil-A patron since 1982! Since trying their delicious chicken for the first time at the Ingram Park Mall in San Antonio, TX, I have been hooked and raved about them to anybody who asked stating that they were, by far the best fast food restaurant in the country when you consider quality of food, excellence of service, cleanliness of dining facility and fairness of pricing. However, my last several visits (and I only go 4-5 times a year) have slowly broken my loyalty to this franchise. The nuggets have gotten smaller, the fries fewer and not as crispy or flavorful while the price has gone up, up, up. Today's order was the final straw. As usual, I ordered one 12 piece nugget meal and one extra 12 piece nuggets to go. Total price for order was $19.90. I got the regular lemonade as my drink. First notice was how small the drink cup has gotten and was mostly loaded with ice. My order came out fairly quickly and I left to head home. When home (about 8 miles from location) I opened my first box of nuggets and to my disappointment discovered only 8 small nuggets. So I checked my second box and counted only 11 small nuggets. They shorted me 5 nuggets total! Additionally, the fries order was small and soggy. Not even close to what most of my past experiences have been with Chick-Fil-A; they had NEVER gotten my order wrong. The kicker in all this is that when I called the restaurant to let them know about the short nuggets, I got a recorded message saying "if we got your order wrong, please come to restaurant with receipt...". Not gonna drive 8 miles to have them fix this mistake as the gas spent to do so would cost more than the missing nuggets; I just wanted them to know of the mistake but was not afforded the opportunity to speak to anyone or even to leave a message. Lesson: instead of expecting quality service and product for your hard-earned money you'd better check every order for accuracy before leaving the facility. Unfortunately, it may be a very long time if ever that I plan a return to good ole Chick-Fil-A. A sad day, very sad day indeed. read more

This is the worst Chick fil a when it comes to getting an order accurate. So... check your order before you leave otherwise the manager will not or maybe believe you did not receive your order. My case was 8 ct. chicken nuggets missing for my Grandchildren. I have been out of town and could not come back inside within 2 days or 1 days whatever the policy is but I called and made a note on my receipt, not good enough. Just as I grabbed my order, this dude stormed in furious and yelling about how I allegedly cut him off in traffic 1 city away. Before I can even formulate a response, he throws a punch. Out of nowhere the guy behind the counter jumps over as if he's been waiting his entire life for this moment and beats the snot out of the guy. The guy ran off and the cashier dusted himself off. Tried it a week ago, and it took 35 minutes to get through. They were delivering food 3-5 cars behind the front car. Tried it again today and experienced the same thing, complete dysfunction. It did move quicker today, 15 minutes, but this place is clearly still working out the kinks. One glaring issue I see is that they give food to people 3-5 cars behind the front car and they are still stuck there in the line. They want to go. Please train your people to get gluten free orders right! Too often, I don't get a full gluten free meal. I either get a bun with a fried filet, waffle fries instead of the gluten free chips (that clearly I asked for) , or I get a grilled filet with no bun (when I paid for the gluten free bun). This is a busy Chick-fil-a so I don't expect to get the food quickly. However, they instituted a new policy of walking the good out to the cars as soon as it is ready. Unfortunately for me, I was taking the food home to my kids and they drop off the bag with 7 cars in front of me. So, I sit there as the food gets cold. When I get to the window I tell the manager I'm unhappy with and would rather have them hand me the food when I can start home. She tells me that is what they are doing to speed service. I point out that this results in a poor customer experience and she sort of shrugs. I tell her I'm not coming back and she says sorry. Then I call the corporate feedback line and they argue with me telling me that is not their policy. And, despite taking my information they never call or contact me. Chick-fil-A, as I think we all do here on Yelp, is a fast food chain we rate based on how they can provide the fast food experience and quality of food relative to the chain's reputation. I can tell you I often shied away from this location prior to Corona virus because it was SO hugely popular the drive-thru and parking lot was packed. But the chain has upgraded it's drive-thru and made even long lines move very quickly. It employs multiple people outside to take your order (if you're cash or app paying there was practically no line at all in my experiences). The food is still SO simple and well-executed you look at the sandwich and say, "How the hell are you so unique?". This location executes service very well and provides that wonderful, simple combination of chicken, pickle and bun VERY well...not to mention the wonderful waffle fries. I feel like it would be unfair to give the location a perfect score ONLY because I haven't had a chance to experience the dining area yet. But I will go there when the dining area reopens to see if the efficiency, quality of food and friendly service are still there...update to come! read more

Unsure if the staff was 15 yrs and younger and working their first jobs, but I can tell you it took the 4 of my group a total of 55 mins to get our orders of food. One of us asked for a refill on diet lemonade, and the young employee looked around very confused .. only to ask his manager a minute later what that was. *** 50 mins of waiting and 3 of us got our food.. the last one finally went up and asked.. they happily informed my coworker that they lost his order and can remake it, "it should only take another 20 mins". Asked for a refund and. We had to go to a restaurant that could fill orders. I now know if I'm passing through Georgetown.. I'll definitely steer clear of this location. read more

Worst chic fil a experience ever. Sat in the drive thru line for 45 minutes after placing a mobile order. Get to the window to be told they are out of one of the items i ordered. I figured the long wait was because they were short handed yet when looking in they have more than enough employees standing around without obviously anyone with the managerial skills to go outside and expedite service like most chic fil a's do. If your phone is low on battery and you need to sit and charge while waiting in line this is the spot for you. The longest of lines at this location goes by very quickly. My order is always correct, and they never forget my hot sauce . I go here on Saturdays with my dog to grab a couple biscuits and a coffee before the farmers market. There's two lines for the drive thru. Unbelievable! This location is garbage! Just read the reviews on both Yelp and Google, and yet they do not care! I waited from Friday until today, Monday, to speak with someone over the phone about my orders being wrong every time since I moved here 11 days ago. We go daily because my child is autistic, and as y'all know, most kids with autism stick to the same foods. Not once in the ELEVEN visits had I complained, but this time they really screwed the whole order up!! So I tried calling and calling and calling--no answer! Today, 3 days later, a machine finally answered, and they figured out a way to not deal with their consumers over the phone. On top of THEM getting your order wrong, you're forced to go out of your way to have them rectify it. They won't even talk to you! You're now forced to drive all the way back to speak with someone about how they messed up. This is your time--gas, money, and the wrong food! This prevents them from having to give you a "free" meal next time for your inconvenience and therefore saves this location thousands upon thousands of dollars. I have a family member who owns a Las Vegas location. And no one should blame all chicka-a-filets for the behavior of one location. I'm leaving this review in hopes that they see it and understand that without their consumers, they're nothing. My order had hair in it. So gross!! In the fries!! And twice, they've given me a cookie instead of the brownie I paid for. I have proof (I made a video) of unfresh food, hair, and cookies, and yet no one will speak with me. I must go in.
