I place and online order at 730am for a 630pm pick up. At 633pm I was told to exit the drive through and my order would be ready in 5-6 minutes. I parked and 20 minutes later it was brought out and I was told that it was late because they were busy. No apologies. The little Asian woman just didn't care. As you probably know, PE is a chain (usually in the mall in New England, but a standalone store in Alabama.) Hubby wanted Popeyes and I didn't, so I ordered online and picked up my food to go. I got the kids portion and it was big enough for an adult (I had leftovers!) They had to have just cooked because everything was so fresh and probably the best Panda Express experience I've ever had. Orange chicken and noodles were spot on! My only complaint is they forgot my Terriyaki sauce for my chicken. The drive through employees were also very friendly. read more

For a chain the food is consistant fresh, and tasty, . Staff is always friendly, and property is clean. A convenient stop for a good Chinese meal.They added a new menu item, firecracker steak and shrimp, but a lil disappointed that they did away with my favorite sweet fire chicken. read more

The food is consistently fresh and delicious. What is also consistent is the bad attitude of who I think is the owner. He is never welcoming, maybe I am expecting typical southern hospitality. I was so disappointed on my last visit to find out that they have discontinued Sweet Fire Chicken Breast.

The kung pao is so salty it masks the taste of everything but the peanuts and most of what was served is rice; very little entree. The restroom needs attention. They have outdoor seating with umbrellas. read more

We eat Panda Express at least once a week. We usually use Door Dash for delivery to our home. Today's meal was amazing! We eat the sesame chicken chow mein with pot stickers. Came here for lunch today. Ordered a 2 entree plate for myself, and when I asked for rice and noodles, staff put back some of the rice that was already plated on my tray! I know Panda is notorious for small portions, but in all the Panda Express restaurants I have been to, I have never seen staff so skimpy with their portions. It would have been really nice if they would have checked the order to make sure it's correct before handing it to the customer. I didn't received my whole order, they forgot my side, they didn't pack condiments and a cookie like you would usually get which really just showed how lazily the order was put together. Regular Gulf Shores vacationer. Visited here once. Won't be going back. Had to cross busy traffic, waited over 30 minutes for a table. Was rushed thru. Was never asked how things were. 5 minutes after ( cold and subpar ) food did was delivered, waitress dropped the check on the table with barely a word. Never offered refills to drinks, or deserts. Totally felt like, "Get these people thru, so we can get on to the next set of tourists." Worst eatery experience we've had at Gulf Shores in 5 yearly visits! read more

Yea your typical Panda Express food but it was fresh and nice that it is what you expect as in this Covid world sometimes you don't get what is expected from a restaurant you might have gone to many times. They were fully staffed which is saying something for again Covid time. They all had in mask and the cooking area, serving area and the dining area were all very clean. The meat in the food was horrible... the sweet tea tasted old. The rice tasted reheated. Fortune cookies were pretty good.

after ordering in drive trough. we were told the food would take 5 minutes to complete and were asked to drive around to pick up spaces. no problem at all with waiting. however 5 minutes turned into a 25 minute wait and having to go into restaurant to get food that was sitting in bag on counter. poor communication with staff. once home! food was not fully cooked. fried rice was literally crunchy. threw food out. We have been here many times and never had a problem until today. Both my husband and I ordered Orange chicken and they were out of it so we had to wait, which was ok. We asked for it to go because we never finish it. As we were waiting a man came in after us and apparently the clerk (Theresa) asked if all three was together, I misunderstood her and thought she asked if mine and my husband's was to be rung up together. I noticed she was putting the other person's food with ours and I told her that I didn't hear her correctly and that we weren't together. She rolled her eyes and went to ring us up. Orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and noodles were also very good. Not comparable to a 4 or 5 star full service restaurant. Wasn't looking for that. A negative star would be more appropriate... The customer I am speaking of in my review left a review about this incident on yelp and two days later it has been removed. So here is my view. While I was in line waiting to order, another customer found a toothpick in their food. One of the Managers (Chris) came from the back after being informed of this, pulled the toothpick from the food with his bare hands and began yelling at the customer, telling them they needed to "chill out" . The customers refused to argue with him and left. After the incident the manager went back to the line and began bad mouthing the people he had just argued with to his employees and in front of other customers in line. At this time myself and another customer with her child spoke up and informed the manager that he was out of line and should not be talking negative about customers in the environment he was in especially in front of other customers. The manager again, came from the back and got in front of the female who had spoken up, yelled at her she needed to "chill out" and began to argue. When the woman asked him to please get out of her face yelling he told her she needed to leave his store because this was his job and he knew what he was doing. 4 more customers in line then left informing the crew that they would not be coming back. The manger finally went back to the line mumbling about the situation, saying he cant believe the nerve of people and continuing to talk to his co workers about the situation. I have come here several times but recently I came through the drive through and the lady handed me my food and said thank you before I paid and I had to tell her I hadn't paid yet, she was so happy I told her that she gave me a couple coupons for my next visit.
