Don't Even Bother ordering from this VRC Location it's the worst plus want to be up all night throwing up? Don't think so!
    Matthew K.

Alright so the Service for this location is pretty terrible, They told me they wouldn't refund me at store level and the food was pretty terrible, caused me to have food poisoning, the mall area ambiance is fine and all but it's this one location in the Mall for Panda Express is terrible, staff is not caring about their customers or food, they are kinda rude, took forever to get the number for Corp, complained via Twitter/X instead cause I couldn't with calling plus it was late in the evening. The Online Twitter/X Experience was quick, easy and super quick on getting my concerns heard and was able to issue a refund right then and there. What I Ordered: Bigger Plate - Fried Rice (Who can mess this up right? Welllllll Panda Express in VRC) - Honey Sesame Chicken (Didn't taste right) - Kung Pow Chicken (Kinda tasted off) - Beijing Beef (Kinda tasted fine as it was freshly made but may of been off) - Two Egg Rolls (Looked like they were dropped on the floor and picked up and burnt then served to the public looking like stuff was on them plastic, floor debris and who knows what else) This locations staff: Let's say they seem to of not cared I should of just walked away from this... Cost Me $16.00 even and the Corp folks was kind enough to refund the entire thing! Please if you have gotten food here and gotten sick I urge you to call Corp or hit them up on Twitter with pics of your food and receipt and if you can call up the Health Department this location needs to be shut down PERMANENTLY management is terrible food choices weren't even many and it was dinner time so it should of had plenty of choices but this location had 3 maybe 4 choices for sides, if they don't like their job or don't like cooking Chinese's Food or serving public then maybe they should find something that doesn't evolve the FOOD INDUSTRY! how does one work and serve people dangerous foods? Want Better Food? Then hire better management, staff and this location could change up better even have the awesome food they have at this location of chain restaurant, There are people who serve this food to their family and wonder why they get sick well here we are with staff that don't obviously care about other people's families.

burnt tf put my Orange Chicken Panda Cub Meal™ yall messed up

burnt my chicken and i was really exited for it but i got a refund, but it's always good and this was probably a one time thing, rice was good!

We wanted to try this location and was sorely disappointed. First there isn't even a hostess to take our name and inform us of a wait time. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! Instead they provide a notepad and a handwritten sign to put your name down. In the 15 minutes we stood around waiting for some shred of customer service we witnessed one guy walk in, grab a menu then was followed by his wife. When my wife confronted this guy and his wife she stated "they had reservations". THIS PLACE DOES NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS AND THERE WAS NO ONE TO STEP IN FOR THE 6 OTHER PARTIES BEFORE THIS COUPLE that had "RESERVATIONS". Clearly they don't give a shit about their customers and STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! I guess they feel they have enough business they don't need future customers but if they're so busy then why be so cheap as to not hire a host/hostess? Just bad business practice.

The staff member on the phone assured us it would be fine. However, when we arrived, we were seated and allowed to place our order. Only after we had already ordered did the same staff member inform us that the restaurant only allows service dogs and that we would need to remove our dog. This was extremely frustrating, as we had called in advance specifically to avoid this situation. If this was truly their policy, it should have been clearly communicated over the phone or at least before seating us--not after we had already committed to ordering food. As for the food, it was average and nothing memorable. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed the entire experience. We will not be returning.

I always find that Asian food hits the spot when I'm really hungry, so I looked online for a place that "the locals" rated highly and I came across "Jade Dumpling and Noodles" on Willamette. Let me just say that the fine people of Eugene didn't steer me wrong! My oldest son loves dumplings and I love noodles (really any type of Asian food), so this place was a gem! We ordered 3 different kinds of dumplings, shrimp, pork and a spicy pork and they were All Delicious! These "soup dumplings" were small and bite sized but were packed with huge savory flavors! They are made right there and are amazing! I myself had the mixed noodles. House made noodles with beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables, stir fried in a delicious lite sauce, that enhanced the flavors of the dish, without overpowering it. You could taste all the ingredients and they were fresh and delicious! I cleaned the plate and now I can't wait to return to Jade Dumplings and Noodles again and try their other dishes, that I know will be tasty! The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, all in all, a Great dining experience! Try them out and you'll be hooked on them, just like I am now!!!

When I walked in, I noted that it is very small... with limited seating, and pretty bare bones in the aesthetics. Probably does a lot of take-out more than dine in. There was a strong odor of burned cooking oil that was off putting. The lady at the counter was friendly, and took my order quickly. They do not have any hot tea, which would have been nice on a cold day. So I got a coke. I sat down and had to move... as the sun was coming in the window and blinding me where I sat. Other patrons came in and had to move also for that reason. They brought my food out and placed it on the table, which was nice. Portions were decent sized. The breaded chicken in my Sweet and Sour Chicken was mostly breading... very little chicken (see attached photo). Breading was not crispy at all... a bit mushy (I suspect they use pre-breaded chicken that was frozen, which is becoming more common... blech! Hard to make that crispy, unless double fried). The sweet and sour sauce was a little bitter... which I associate with pre-made (sysco? Not made in house) sauce. Very thin, overly sweet and a slight bitterness. Rice was ok... pretty good actually. Some might say I am too picky? But with the meal, a coke, and a tip... this was over $20... and there are other places that do this meal better for about the same price.

I ordered Mapo, and it came with some steamed rice. I ordered it with Medium Heat, since this my first time here, and I have no idea what their spice levels are like. My Mapo had just the tiniest bit of spice... not much at all. I tried the chili oil that was on the table... and found it lacking in heat also, but flavor was ok. Mapo was decent... not very MA LA for those know the term... hardly any numbing Sichuan peppercorn in it that I could taste. So this is more of an Americanized version.... not the Chengdu version. Lots of sauce, and a good portion of tofu... enough that I brought over half home with me for later. Rice was ok... edges were kind of dry, so it was not super fresh. But I would eat here again... there are a lot of traditional Sichuanese dishes on the menu, and they even have meat skewers that I will have to try. Next time I will order HOT (extra Ma La)... and see if that does the job.
