I WISH I remembered to take photos of all the food I ordered. BIG MISTAKE. I ordered 2 kids meals: one orange chicken and the other was broccoli beef, along with a honey sesame panda bowl. I managed to get a photo of my son's kids meal that he barely touched, but my daughter received maybe 4 skinny pieces of orange chicken in hers! WTH?! I don't order from panda much, but when I do (in Bakersfield) they always fill my bowls and boxes to the brim. There's no issue EVER. Here in Delano, on the other hand, they are SO stingy! I've read previous reviews about how they run out of food a lot here, so maybe that's why, but that's NO excuse! I was shocked when I saw the portions we all got. It's so disappointing. The plus side is at least the employees are nice! 3 stars for good customer service. read more

I have not had any bad experiences at this location. Matter fact, this Panda Express has a drive thru, so that's almost better then half the Panda Express's in Bakersfield. I have probably visited this Panda Express about a dozen times since my mom likes this place and normally the reason why we stop by is to grab my mom some food from here. This Panda Express is really clean and the décor outside looks better than most places. I like the bamboo details on the outside which I don't think I've ever seen at any other Panda Express. Food is the same as any other Panda Express. I don't think I've walked into any Panda Express thinking I was eating old food. They are constantly cooking a new batch to replace the food they are low on, so I know they stay fresh here as usually with other Panda Express. This is the only Panda Express in Delano and it's located near Walmart. It might be a little drive for the rest of Delano that lives near the old Kmart area, but again the plus side is definitely the drive thru. read more

Drive-thru! During a time when many restaurants are closed, and your schedule doesn't permit for the amount of time it takes for delivery because you are terrible about planning ahead, I am grateful this Panda Express has a drive-thru. It's easy to go to for lunch, or pickup dinner on the way back home. At this time, they are only serving their favorites - which works for me. My friend got the Walnut Shrimp, and I got a Family Meal (Which is a great deal - 3 entrees (I love their Angus steak, Mushroom chicken, and Kung Pao chicken) and 2 side dishes). I did this last week, and it was so much food (even for me!) that I ate it everyday for lunch for a week. Lol . . I feel a bit like I'm not a real Chinese person, liking the Chinese food at a chain restaurant, but I particularly like the food because you have the option of getting healthy green veggies. Here, I ask for their "Super Greens" instead of the white rice, fried rice or noodles as my side dishes. The Super Greens have a really nice kale, broccoli mix. Regrettably, my beloved local Chinese place doesn't have this option. Everything comes out very hot, and seems freshly made. If you plan ahead, they currently have what is normally a $35 dollar-ish family meal (already a good deal in my opinion) for only $20! The catch is, you have to order online. Yesterday when I went thru the drive-thru I tried to order the family meal, and it was explained to me if I ordered it online I would get the same exact deal for $15 less! Wow, even lazy, impatient me agreed it was worth it, and I pulled out of the drive thru, into the parking lot to order online. It's easy enough to go thru the link on the yelp page to order online - you find the right location and begin your order. Hopefully this will save me considerable time in the future because initially it is a BIG pain in the butt to input your credit card info, address, email, cell, etc.. ...... Apparently I started this process before because once I entered my email, I got a message that the email was already in use, and to LOG IN. UGH! I had to start all over! And of course I didn't remember the password I used. And I had to deal with that! If we weren't talkin' fifteen bucks I may have given up. Once I did order, the food was ready sooner than they estimated. It was a relatively no contact pickup. They had a lot of signs for customers to social distance. The food was all packed and ready to go. The actual pick up was super quick. And another thing was that they got my order exactly right, and added all the condiments and serving stuff I asked for. I almost NEVER have an order right when I do drive-thru anywhere (the El Pollo Loco on Coffee drives me nuts!) so I was grateful they included everything I asked for here. They are extremely busy at lunch time. Try to go before Noon; 11:45 if you can. You'll be glad you did! read more

Drive thru is a major plus! They will also let you sample anything you want to try, which makes deciding easier or more expensive because then I want to order everything! It's always clean inside when I've visited and they also have outdoor seating. Just make sure to ask if they have what you order if you go through the drive-thru! Once, I ordered on my lunch and the had me sit in the parking lot for 20 min because they ran out of the item I ordered. I always ask now because I'm usually on a time limit. Two Words: "Drive through" We stopped by here on our way to Visalia. I dont think I had been to a Panda Express that had a drive through. We were in and out within couple of minutes. Ate here a few times and food is always fresh,friendly staff, and clean! Today was different! I left my backpack and didn't even realize it 3-4 hours later! I only realized because I had to call Kaiser and the insurance card was in my backpack and remembered hanging my bag on the chair while I dined in! Called his establishment and it was there!! The environment was clean, pleasant and had down shades that could be pulled down to block out he sun so I decided to do dine in. The food was at a great temp, fresh and flavorful. It is my first time at Panda Express and I loved it. One suggestion is to have guest who are waiting on the grilled chicken to be finished is to have them take a seat that way they aren't blocking the cash register area.
