Here on a random Thursday. Taco Bell had an app promo, Beefy Crunch Burrito and medium drink $2.00…read more Decided to try out the burrito. Beefy Crunch Burrito: Supposedly a "cult-classic" burrito that features five ingredients wrapped in a warm, grilled flour tortilla, seasoned beef, Flaming Hot Fritos (corn chips) for a spicy crunch, seasoned rice, reduced fat sour cream and nacho cheese sauce. I ordered it "grilled". The burrito was ok but not my favorite; I'd rather have a Bean and Cheese Burrito or a 5-Layer Burrito. I would not order this again. I also ordered the Supreme Luxe Box that came with the following. Steak Chalupa Supreme (choice of meat), Beefy 5-Layer Burrito (grilled; no nacho cheese sauce), Crunchy Beef Taco and Cinnamon Twists and Medium Fountain Drink (I changed to a Tajín Pineapple Freeze) Total $9.00 (including $1.00 up charge on the drink) Overall the value at Taco Bell is pretty good. Good tasted fresh and everything was prepared as ordered. Although I ordered on the app, we did dine-in and our interaction with staff was pleasant. Dinning area was clean.

In fact I asked them to add more once because it was less than usual, and response was "We'll have to charge extra". Even though I got less!? Be very clear about add-ons. Once I got so much pepper it was overwhelming, so next time I specified no pepper, but clerk started shaking the pepper like a pepper storm. When I stopped her, she just scraped off the pepper from the mayo. Counters are a mess sometimes. Another time, clerk was so slow I was tempted to go behind the counter myself. I feel like this location used to be very good, but is now mediocre. It's a shame because their bread is much better than Blubway and in general sandwiches tasted better. Used to rate a 4, now a 2.

Staff is pretty efficient and friendly. Another win, this chain does not nickel and dime customers for extras (sauce packets , chilies, ketchup, etc) Restaurant is always clean. We placed our order with Roger who was lackadaisical at the register, my buddy ordered to go and when I went up get and asked Roger did my buddy get it to go "he was kinda rude and just said " I don't know I wasn't paying attention" that blew my mind I've been to plenty of in and outs from so cal to nor cal and employees at the register have always been on point, professional, and ahead of the game. That was a bit of a let down and hope Roger can improve on his skills at the register. The next thing that made this rating go down was my order #6 came before 3, 5,7 those people were waiting 10 mins plus!!! I had my buddy go ans confront the employee and they had his bag and burger sitting on the counter for 10 mins never once did they give him fires, it was when he complained that they finally got his fries in the bag ( which was a bummer because his burger was cold) Aside from that the place is spacious and nice, but the employees don't meet the standards other in and out live up to, and I'm assuming this is because it's Delano a small town. I'm hoping things improve and can follow FIFO ( first in first out) as oppose to stuff in the closest bag and dishing it out to whomever. No point in having a number if you won't follow by the numbers. Also my burger was sloppy looking.

Years ago I ate at a Wienerschnitzel in Visalia and it was not a good experience so I was hesitant to try again but always want to give places a chance especially when they are new to town. First note is that the entry to the drive-through is at the very front of the building and you need to turn into it as soon as you turn off of Olive street into the lot. Today someone was at the gas station next-door and was trying to back out and was blocking entry for myself and another car so it can get a bit tricky as far as traffic if that area gets blocked. Now I am a big user of apps and know that Wienerschnitzel does have an app however Porterville is not yet listed as a location so you cannot order through the app at this time I do not know when and if they will update it to add this location. The menu was pretty straightforward. I had wanted to try a chili dog and was kind of sad to see that there was not a combo that offered a chili dog fries and a drink their number one combo is two chili dogs fries and a drink and that's just too much for what I wanted. I did order a chili dog and had them add raw onions. I also ordered small fries and a small Dr Pepper. The drink was a good size, it was closer to a medium at other places so that was nice. It is a bit of a drive home so the food was not super hot by the time we got home but it wasn't bad. Fries were very pale but salted nicely and had a good flavor. I am unsure about the chili dog. It wasn't bad but the hotdog itself was probably the low point. It was very skinny and did not taste like a quality dog. Once I got home I looked in the app and noticed that they offer an upgrade to a "premium" dog which was interesting... based on my receipt it looks like I got that standard hotdog which was fine but if you are able to spend a few more dollars to get a better dog I might try this again with that option. They do offer different varieties of hotdogs as well; the Chicago dog looked interesting but I will have to wait until another time to try that. Looks like they have burgers, hotdogs, fries, drinks, a Polish dog sandwich, and ice cream desserts. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the menu as the line was moving very quickly. I did not have to wait at all for my food. The young lady at the window was very nice. They have outdoor dining area that's covered. That might be nice during the summertime. All in all I would guess that this was probably not something I will crave but again I will go back and try a different variety of hotdog and see about the upgrade to the premium dog and see if that makes a difference in the flavor. If you are looking for a change from burgers at a reasonable price this may be just the spot.

At the time my family and I lived in Earlimart and anytime we would go shopping we would head up north and this burger spot was one of our regular spots. It has changed a bit inside and all the surrounding buildings. The inside looks a little more modern. They don't have that root beer machine anymore, it just looks like an antique display now. The jukebox was still there and all the pictures on the walls were still the same. Inside was pretty clean, the downside is when we visited the restrooms were closed and my son had to walk to the gas station next door. Service was just okay. Staff was fast, we didn't have to wait long for our food. There was literally no one there when we dined in, but as soon as our food came out, I turned around and several tables were taken. I didn't realize that A&W got busy like that. After so many years, A&W is still good!
