Upon entering, I greeted a female employee behind the counter and placed an order for a pint of house special lo mein and an egg roll. The food was prepared really quickly and it was well-cooked. The egg roll was fried nicely and filled with tender vegetables. I added some duck sauce for flavor. The lo mein was a mixture of tender pieces of chicken roast pork, and shrimp, tossed with soft noodles and crunchy vegetables. It may look like a small amount of food, but it was filling. In my years as a chef, I will tell you that there is only one piece of meat that is more tender than any other cut of meat from the cow and that is the tenderloin. What was served me was closer related to a tough cut or sirloin that tightened up so much when cooked, that every piece of meat I had to chew and chew to get past the grizzle.
