Shift Manager Robert made my experience at the restaurant uncomfortable and awkward. I was greeted and acknowledged by the employee taking orders; she was busy prepping other take out orders and apologized for the wait. I was not upset, I was okay with waiting. It's dinner time and I expected the wait. He saw me waiting and he yelled out to her to hurry up and take my order. She takes my order and as I'm paying for my food, he starts to reprimand her for not assisting me faster - This was not necessary, especially in front of a customer. If Mr. Robert treats his employees like this in front of customers, how does he treat them when no one is watching? Mr. Robert is a poor reflection of your establishment. read more

There are TWO Panda Express in the universal studios Hollywood premises and unfortunately all they had was leftovers. My partner was set on panda. I looked up this location and saw this was about 3 miles away. THE ENTIRE STAFF was very friendly. The portions were great and the food was fresh. We hit a little hiccup while ordering (the person before us had a big order and was indecisive) and the staff could not be more apologetic for the delay. There is about 4 tables out each seating 2 and are spaced out. As of yesterday, no Indoor seating. read more

Updating my review a little bit. Have ordered another 2x in the last few months. For my delivery order, delivery was fine but they forgot one item on my order, but it's ok, they give you a ton of food, so we didn't go hungry. The second time for pickup, I should have checked it better, they gave me all noodles instead of half noodles/half greens. Sometimes the teriyaki chicken can be quite rubbery, for the most part everything ok considering fast food. Servers are very nice. I would say a good bang for your buck. read more

I finally visited the new location and boy was I surprised! The customer service was phenomenal! I've never encountered employees that truly care about their job and the service they provide to every single person that walks in the door! The very short time I was there, I heard (from 3 different employees) "Hi, welcome to Panda Express!", "Hi how are you?" "Sorry for the wait, what can I get you this evening?", "Anything else I can get you today", "Enjoy the rest of your evening" and then when I was walking away, I heard the cashier tell the next person "Hi, Happy Tuesday!" I was stunned to hear such enthusiasm and graciousness. Each of them had a smile on there face. They could have been tired and stressed and I would have never known. It made the visit absolutely pleasant and I hope that every time I go there, the workers are all the same. Disgusting!! Had an incident in June 2021.Went through Drive-thru and at the window my order was literally shoved into my hands. I asked if cutlery and condiments were in the bag. Was told "yeah, yeah" Parked right away to eat since we had a flight to catch in the airport next door. Open my bag, cutlery, missing. Had to walk into the restaurant to get it. Finally ready to eat and my son starts gagging and eventually threw up. Long strands of hair in his food. I go to drive-thru tell the cashier about the issue and want a refund at this point. Response was: "Ughh, I guess if you want to" with sass. Got to the window and the cashier trying to pretend it wasnt her. The mgr tells me to park in the front of the restaurant. Comes out, I explain and basically tells me, he wanted to see the hair, the proof. Are you kidding me? I said I want a refund, tells me it takes 7 days for it . Called Panda Customer service and never heard back from ANYONE. Shame on this Corporation and avoid Burbank Airport location at all cost. Awful read more

So happy they finally opened a new location. Always have terrible service at other locations. We don't often get such unhealthy delicious junk food but when we do I want it to be amazing. We came here and ordered 3 portion combos each and the server was friendly and took good care of our order. The cashier was also very friendly. Sometimes the rice or noodles are dry and gross. I have had a very positive experience with customer service during my recent visit. I have arrived 15 minutes before the store was about to close, hoping to still be able to find the meal of my choice. The manager was on site, and told me that they have unfortunately run out of this meal, but if I could wait for 5 mins - he'll make some more. I wasn't expecting such a warm welcome considering the fact that I was probably holding poor employees at work, but they still went out of their way to serve me, and I am very touched by this kind gesture. read more

I was very glad to see one opened up in my neighborhood but when I went in today they told me that for whatever reason management decided not serve that dish at this location ever. I am consistently impressed with how incredibly nice the staff is, how generous the portions are and how fast the service is at this location. Whether we order for delivery or pickup, it's always early and the to-go boxes are always stuffed with as much food as they can possibly hold. Panda Express is generally a really great company with strong leadership that treats their staff really well. When this location first opened, I remember walking in and seeing the co-CEOs Andrew and Peggy Cherng in-person talking to the staff. They came off as very genuine and I was really surprised that they made the time to stop by. Seeing that interaction made me a customer for life! read more

With so many fast food options leaving the general area, I was so happy to see Panda Express open up here. With the current COVID-19 pandemic, they're doing a whole thing where you order at one door and get your order at the other, and it actually works out very well - I actually much prefer this over having to go into the restaurant and staying in there. The employees at this restaurant are very nice and I think I'm there enough that they're starting to always remember my order. The only down side? And this was a thing before the pandemic, and it will probably get worse... Panda Express keeps raising their prices. Even a 2-entree plate is over $9 after tax. Don't come here within hours of closing - they stop making dishes. At 8pm, they had maybe two total protein dishes left. All the other dishes were pristinely clean. This isn't one of those reviews that are written to get free food. I never really go out of my way to review a place, but when service is this spectacular I need to chime In. Since this location has opened the staff has been incredibly friendly, the location is spotless, and the staff remembers me and my family each time we walk in as we are regulars. This is one of the best managed and staffed Panda locations I've come across, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home.
