Who never caught this, the chow mien noodles got thinner, which is crap, because that's CHEATING! Sometimes, the orange chicken makes my throat dry, I believe they put to much soy beans or soy sauce. They don't have enough workers to double team the drive thru and takeout. The service is nice, making sure you get plenty for a good price. It's clean, little dust, clean everyday. Came to give them another chance at 10:50. (They open at 10:30) and all the doors were locked. I called and was told all the food wasn't prepared so they couldn't open. Seems like this place is in need of a management change or something. I sat for 20 minutes watching people try to enter and then leave without making a purchase. So I ordered the big box half and half with 2 chicken teriyaki and orange chicken. I got what I wanted but no teriyaki sauce for the chicken and who wants to eat just plain chicken. So my dogs truly enjoyed my dinner. I did eat the orange chicken. Also they parked me and said it would not be long. I waited outside for 15 minutes. When I called the manager she just like oh well sorry have a nice day. I was not looking for a free meal but something since they got my money and I didn't get what I wanted like a free egg roll or drink. Everything says they close at 10. Nothing states the inside closes early, or whenever they want to close it apparently. After seeing another review from a month ago that they closed it at 8:20, I assume they just pick and choose when they wanna close up the inside. Employees just give you weird looks and stare at you when you try to open the door. Doesn't help that when I got to drive thru still an hour or more before they close, they want to tell us there will be a limited menu. I figured I would give them another chance after forgetting things from my order the last we ate here (tried to call and speak with a manager but they told me one wasn't on shift and I could just call back the next day) may explain why employees are closing things early and doing whatever they please. read more

Their food is consistently good and the staff always courteous and helpful. My only complaint - and it seems to be a trend with the Panda Express chain - is that they've taken away their free water option on their soda fountain, which I firmly believe to be a criminal act. How can you justify denying patrons free water? Oh, I know it's to drive profit up; you are being forced to purchase bottled water from them. Every restaurant where you have in-house seating offers free water - even free water with lemon. Aren't the owners of Panda Express like millionaires several times over, if not now billionaires? I usually don't post reviews, but GOODNESS the service at this location was horrible! Sat in the drive thru line with about four cars in front of us, not a problem because we weren't in a rush but took about 20 minutes to get to the order screen. The car in front of us ordered and asked to change something and the employee literally said "ma'am I cannot change your order I already made your plate" in such a rude way. The lady asked for the manager and that's all we heard. We pull up and the man taking the orders was incredibly rude. Wouldn't even let us order because he was interrupting the entire time guessing what we were about to order! I like to give places the benefit of the doubt during busier times, but goodness what a terrible experience and rude customer service. read more

I've had two great experiences at this location lately! I'm surprised to see all of the negative reviews here - I'm thinking that they've made some great improvements due to past feedback. Both of my experiences were drive-thru orders. One was placed using the app and one at the actual drive-thru. My meals were hot and fresh and the customer service was friendly and efficient. Portions were a great for the price and napkins, sauce packets, and utensils were provided. Really great for a fast food meal. I would like to see the veggie options available at this location, but other than that, no complaints. Thanks to the staff and management for a job well done! read more

I ordered my food online and paid for it online. When I showed up to pay for it at the time they said it would be done they would not let me in the store. Mind you, it was paid for and made, I just needed to pick it up and go. There were people in line placing orders and they told me I had to go through the drive through. Even though the drive in is jammed with a dozen cars and my food is already boxed and paid for they would not hand it to me thirty minutes later I am still deep in a slow moving line of cars. The food was mostly hot and fresh. The drive-thru line was pretty fast. The staff was friendly and the order was accurate. The honey walnut shrimp was the best part of everything, but it varies time to time on how many walnuts you get in your order. The angus steak was tasty, but had to be microwaved a bit when we arrived home. The lo mein is a better choice than their fried rice. The orange chicken was fresh, but I still preferred the shrimp. They offered a special online that was pretty good of a deal so I suggest to check that before ordering straight from the drive-thru! read more

Asked for chow mein and they gave me pretty much nothing but cabbage in both containers. When someone orders chow mein, give them chow mein. I got maybe two bites of noodles and that was it! I have been here at least four times. Twice through the drive through and twice inside. This time I was dine in. This was the first time to me to be below a four star. The lady at the counter was about a 6 on a scale to ten in customer service. The food was cold for some reason and the place was a mess. They did start to clean up while I was there. The food is good for the price. I gave it a three because it has been a hit and miss. We have visited again since my last post. Food was good and nothing was cold but the restaurant was lacking. Trash cans were over flowing. Soda area was a mess. Tea was empty. Tried to tell the lady at the cash register but she wouldn't even acknowledge me. Since this has become routine I have taken another star away. It's been several months since the last time we ate here and they have improved. The restaurant was clean and service was good. Every time I drive from Port author to Beaumont I come directly to panda express to enjoy a good meal today I had no desire to eat any of the food on the line. The food on the line looked old they were four different open spots two of which were my favorite orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp there were no cooks in the kitchen two girls walking around to girls in the restaurant sweeping the floor and no food being cooked at all. I usually LOVE Panda Express. I was so excited to hear we were getting our very own in Beaumont. Unfortunately, this one is just so-so. I can't remember having such poor quality chicken at any other location. It was rangy, and by that I mean the meat was full of gristle and wasn't properly trimmed before it was cooked. There was barely any meat and almost all fat. The crab rangoons had freezer burn, and the grease that was used to fry them left a completely odd aftertaste--like it was old frying oil. Rude staff to start and this is the second time this location was "out of tea for the night" at 6:30pm. Actually only reason we drove 45 min to your location. Food was ok not great. This is only my second time here at this Panda Express location, but it was definitely the most interesting so far. As I was nearing the end of my meal, the fire alarm was engaged and everyone was hustled out of the restaurant. I will give the staff bonus points for acting quickly and getting everyone out of the restaurant. It seems there is no fire, but that doesn't mean we can't do the review! Food: I rate the food on a combination of Price/Quality/Quantity. Starting with the price, the 3 entree plate along with a drink was a little over $11. I think this is basically in line with most Fast Food Chinese restaurants, so I gave it a 3.5. The Quality of my entrees were unfortunately not that amazing but not too bad. The Orange Chicken seemed a little overdone, and I was suprised as they are pushing this particular entree pretty hard. I'll sit this at a solid 3. As for quantity, I think that the do provide a decent amount for the price, but much of the focus is on the "side", which for me was white fried rice. I give them a 3.75 on this. Together, it gets around a 3.4 for food score. Ambience: This is a typical fast food chain ambience as its not too loud until you get alot of kids in there, so if you're looking for complete silence, look elsewhere. However it did not bother me until the fire alarm went off lol. The bathrooms were a little nasty, but I reported it to the staff and they went to it immediately, which was very nice to see. I'll give them a 3.5 on ambience. Waitstaff: While the waitstaff was nothing on either side of the scale to start with, their handling of the event of the fire alarm going off was very professional. While we were hustled out of the store, after the manager was relatively certain it was not a real fire (but we couldn't go back in until the fire dept cleared it), the manager went in and got everyone's meal inside and let us eat in the outside area. I found this quite nice and helpful on the part of the staff. In total I will give them a 4 on the waitstaff score. Overall the score will round up to a 4 out of 5 stars for this visit. To be honest it is not a place I visit all the time but it's good for a stop every now and then and I didn't leave hungry, so I'm always good with that! read more

The drive thru had a ridiculously long wait time! And I got there before noon! There was a car at the window for 12 minutes! If someone has ordered something and it's not ready and will take that long to make, they should have them drive out and wait for someone to bring the food out to them, like other fast food restaurants do! The fact that they think it's okay to make everyone else in line wait for that amount of time is crazy nonsense. Some of us only get 30 minutes for lunch! I ordered the plate lunch, two entrees and one side, black pepper chicken and kung pao chicken with chow mien. What I got was a tiny bit of black pepper chicken with chow mien, you can even see the empty part of my to go box in the picture I took!
