The food here is always great. They are constantly offering new items which almost always WOW me. The recent update on the interior is nice, however, it's quite different from before. One of the things I always like about Jason's was being able to watch them make your food. Not anymore. Now you pay and move on to make a salad for yourself if you ordered one. They have runners to bring out your order to the assigned table tent on your table. I ordered the Deli Cowboy (see pic) which was really good. My one complaint (it's significant) was the price. You can order the regular size sandwich for $16 or the half sandwich for $14. OR you can get the manager's special which is half sandwich and standard ruffles potato chips with a CUP of soup for $13.49. When I think of a manager's special it's usually a half sandwich and a BOWL of soup. Regardless, the main problem I have is the price. I know it's common to add a couple dollars to a half sandwich order to accommodate for the extra chips or whatever side you choose. A fair price for a half order of Deli Cowboy would be $9.99. NOT $14. I think you need to re-evaluate your pricing Jason's Deli. This destroys the value of the product Joe Tortorice created back in 1976. It was delicious but not worth $15 with tax. read more

Went the other evening day. so unorganized ... took forever to get our food brought to our table and it wasn't even prepared correctly. Ordered a baked potato with just cheese -- they had green things on it which we had to remove since I didn't order it like that ... then they wanted to charge for extra cheese. Potatoes are $10+ /// why would they need to charge for cheese??? Jason's Deli is a favorite among many in Beaumont. Me? Eh, it's okay, doc. We'all from the Thursday night Bible study went there twice. The first time, I got a pasta plate; the second time, I got a bbq sandwich. Both pretty good. The thing is, when I see "deli", I think "lots of sandwiches." And for its size, Jason's Deli has a relatively small number of sandwiches available. I like it when I need to choose between several nice options. In this case, it was more like "maybe not, this could work, no way, this looks all right", but none of them jumped out and said "eat me!" And it's not only sandwiches, there are many other entrees available. In both cases, they were pretty good, but I've had better. The bbq one was my favorite, it was nice and meaty, and fills you up well. But it didn't have that strong flavor that you'd get from a choke-and-puke in a no-blink town. Jason's bbq is more "dad having a casual date with his wife" instead of "Bubba filling himself back up during his lunch break at his construction job." And I'm more of the Bubba type, even though my profession and life status is more of the dad type. Anyway, Jason's is in a large stand-alone building that seats a lot of people. Decor is casual dining (dad took his wife on a date at Applebee's). Wait staff is friendly and professional. Overall Jason's Deli is good for many people, and again, it's popular. 7/16/24-7:51pm The girl that took my order was very rude. I ordered a chef salad with Romain and she immediately said that's what it comes with. Even though she was a little short I said oh OK the menu just said salad greens so I wanted to make sure. And then I asked for 1000 Island and she said it comes with ranch. Prior to relocating to Beaumont, we frequented our local Jason's Deli. After moving here, we continued that behavior and today we placed our 3rd order with the local store. In all 3 occasions we have ordered food to go, or today it was for delivery. Each time our order has been wrong, and we are now done. The receipt is attached to the outside of the bag, showing exactly what was ordered. Unfortunately, that documented order had nothing to do with what was in the bag. Incorrect bread on sandwiches. A half sandwich instead of a whole. A potato with the wrong toppings and the wrong soup. There literally was nothing more they could have gotten wrong. There is clearly a leadership issue at this location and I absolutely cannot recommend that anyone orders from the store until it is corrected. Nothing like ordering over $50 worth of food, plus a delivery fee and tip only to get a horrible meal that was just plain wrong! read more

You have a major problem that irritates the hell out of me, You guys tout your online order and call-in orders. I do this and I am told my order will not be ready for 10-15 minutes. So I respect your methods, and drive to store in 15 minutes. However, in the meantime, you are allowing customers in your drive thru line that are placing original orders that take that 10-15 minutes ahead of me. I just sat in your drive thru line for 45 minutes with three cars ahead of me who placed their orders when they got there. It is not fair to folks like me who do the right thing. I used to love Jason's Deli but I'm not sure what's going on with their service. I've been going to Jason's for 15+ years. I've had numerous issues today and it's changed my opinion about this Beaumont staple. 1. They used to serve pickles on the plate. Then they changed it to the salad bar. I would always just grab myself a pickle. With COVID, their plates are behind the counter so when I asked for a plate for a pickle, the gentleman was so rude about it. He walked me over and pointed to the sign. "Pickles are for salad plates only". If so, why are they complimentary with take-out sandwiches? 2. Not only was the gentleman rude, people here used to be so friendly. Like Chick-Fil-A friendly. Maybe someone's having a bad day? When I asked for the ice cream cup, he was kind of aggressive about it like I was bothering him. I was one of the few guests in the whole restaurant. I would've understood if it was crazy busy but it was something I definitely wasn't expecting from Jasons deli employees. 3. This place is usually clean but I had a gnat in my ice cream cup. Let me start off with, I've eaten here so many times and had so many positive experiences, great food and great service. But today, ordered food for my family and the woman who took my order messed it up. I noticed this when they brought the wrong sandwich, and didn't bring out all of our order, told the girl and she just shrugged and walked away without saying anything. Went and talked to the man who was at the drop off station and he was putting together the rest of our missing items. I told him I got the wrong sandwich and he said I got the sandwich that was on my receipt. I told him the woman didn't ring up the correct sandwich. Convenient location. Me & my friends wanted something to bring home to watch movies. I called & ordered a big chef salad (lighter portion) & it's the best sized salad for your buck. I paid about $6 for a "small" salad but it's more than enough to have you full. I didn't see a "pick up" sign, I kind of stood around eaiting for someone to greet me. I've been ordering here for the past year and I'm done. I will never, ever go back, at least not to this location. I'm sick and tired of getting orders that are wrong. Every single time I order a salad I say "NO BACON" and yet, every single time, they put bacon and they leave off half of the things that I said I wanted. It's like they don't even bother to read the ticket. So 2 days ago I ordered and forgot to check my bag. I drove about 40 minutes away before I looked at the food and realized that my order was wrong, as usual. I called up there and they said that I could come back in the next day and get it remade which I did. The man at the counter though was so incredibly rude to me. It was as if I was bothering him or something and the place was nearly empty. I still love Jason's Deli, just not this location. This morning I placed an order through the mobile app. When I arrived at JD, no one answered at the drive through, so I decided to walk in and get my order. There were at least 7 employees roaming around, after a few minutes a lady acknowledged me, I tell her that I'm there to pick up my mobile order, she tells me it's not ready because no one gave her the ticket. Honestly I'm very understanding but this isn't the first time I've tried to order breakfast from JD and received terrible service. The internet shows your location opens at 7:30am so you all should have employees in place to take orders, answer the drive through, and prepare the food. We (party of 6) had lunch Sunday at the Dowlen location. Everything was delicious and fresh! And considering how packed it was on a Sunday after church, our service was absolutely fantastic. From standing in line to placing our order to when we received our meals, it took 20 minutes. So thankful for a great lunch and we will be coming every week. read more
